Monster Under the Bed

"I'm scared," Sally said to the dark room.

"Why? Is something wrong?" Came Und's deep voice.

"Tomorrow is the first day of middle school."

"What's that?"

"I go to a new school."

"You've been in school for some time. Why is this different?"

"It's a new building, new teachers, new people."

"But, will your friends be there?"

"Yes"

"And every year, you have had new teachers."

"Yes"

"So, new building?" Und asked with some amusement.

"Um, yes."

"Sounds like a nice change of scenery."

Sally giggled, "Ok, you're right. Goodnight, Und."
