Chapter 4362: Itornas
She looked ahead, and I wanted to send the long soul waves but refrained from the medium range.
For a few seconds, I didn't sense anything.
When I sensed something in the space, it was happening at a distance, but I had enough knowledge to understand what was happening.
"A spatial gate is opening?" I asked, and surprise appeared on their faces.
"Yes," replied Prime Gold. It's not enough, and I kept looking at her. "It is a realm within this realm," she explained.
My curiosity still hadn't been satiated, but seeing that, she once more looked ahead. I decided to refrain from asking any questions, at least for a while.
Looking at their faces, this seemed serious enough, and seeing how all of them had gathered here. It seemed to be coming for us.
So, I waited.
Seconds passed, and as the spatial fluctuation got more and more powerful, they became powerful till it was powerful enough to split the space here.
I looked at spatial force, and it shocked me.
This is a Prime Realm, but the strength one needs to split the space here is much stronger.
No wonder these people weren't able to get out. If there had been a way, even a difficult one, they would have left already, but they only have one.
It was so dangerous; it had ripped the primes apart before their eyes.
They have provided me with information, and my clones are reading, but it is massive. The information goes beyond a thousand years.
It will take my clones, which are very good at processing information, some time before they read through it all.
Roar!
I was thinking about it when I heard the roar through the soul sense.
Hun!
It was a monster roar, but it felt different. I felt like there was something wrong with it. I looked around, but nobody seemed surprised by it.
Another roar rang out, and then another, and all the roars were the same as there was something wrong with it.
Time passed, and I heard more and more roars when the first monster entered my soul range. The moment I saw it, my eyes widened.
"What is wrong with them?" I asked, but nobody answered; they all kept looking forward.
Soon, I saw the monsters; there were around fifty of them. The one that is leading them is a huge tiger monster with yellow lightning infused with the power of laws flashing over it.
However, it is not what I am looking at.
I am looking at huge nasty pores all over its body, with a pus leaking out of it.
It is not just the tiger in that state, but also all the other monsters. They all have pores on nearly every part of their bodies, with pus leaking out of them.
'Itornas,'
I was looking at them when my clone recognized them, and instantly, their information flowed into my head.
"Itornas," I said, and immediately, two heads whipped toward me.
"So, am I right?" I asked. "Yes, they are foreign." Prime Karamiv replied.
This is another foreign threat, that is not native to our universe. I have come across a lot of them since I came to this world.
It's not surprising. It is a Prime world; it is what they target as they have what they need to become powerful.
Itornas are one of the sneakiest. They act like a virus; they infect and lay dormant into one until they become powerful enough to attack the host and take over.
They are a powerful race; in direct conflict, they are one of the weakest but strong by sneaky means.
That makes it very dangerous.
"Since you know about them already. Cover yourself with the strongest layer of the energy and activate any other protection that could protect you from its energy," said Prime Gold.
Others have already activated their armor, and nearly all of them have defensive methods over it.
My armor appeared over me, but not the defensive screen.
Most people's protection is weaker than mine. As far as I could tell, only Karamiv and Gold have stronger protection than me.
There are few, like Prime Rava, that are stronger than me, but their protections.
Still, I scanned the monsters for all the data I could and kept my clones activated to make any changes necessary to help me against the energies.
Roar!
The monsters reached close, and the Primes moved.
These monsters are strong; the three, including the leader, are stronger than me but weaker than the two strongest. It is why they didn't move.
So had Prime Rava; she is likely in the capacity of healer rather than a fighter.
However, the way she looked, I could tell she was far from the safe healer. She had fought more battles than most of the people here.
The battle began, and immediately, I noticed how differently they were fighting.
They are very cautious, not letting pus reach them. If they did, they would burn it immediately.
"The pus is the most dangerous part of these monsters. Once one gets infected by it, one needs to go through a very dangerous process, and not all survive," informed Prime Rava.
"How commonly do people get infected?" I asked. "In the battles, barely any. We make sure those fighting the monsters are powerful enough to deal with them."
"The real danger comes when someone is outside the village. It is where the highest number of infections happens," she replied.
They had been here for thousands of years. They had developed enough precautions to ward off the infection when fighting against the monsters, but when one is alone, it is much harder.
"These monsters are stronger than they feel," I commented after nearly a minute of silence.
"The pores and pus may make them seem weak, but they are far from it. They are stronger than before they were infected," she replied.
"And they could use the law," I added, and she smiled.
A minute passed, and then another, when a bear monster sent Prime back bloodied.
"Prime Arys, are you interested?" asked Prime Gold, to my surprise. I smiled, and a moment later, I flew toward the infected Bear monster.
