Monarchs Legacy

 Standing high up in a tree is a young boy, his hair black with a few red highlights, his hairstyle can only be described as a spikey combination of an undercut and a high top, his silver and amber heterochromia eyes scanning over a village. This boy is Blaze who 8 years ago lost his home his parents and was separated from his brothers now he's almost 13.

"tomorrows the day huh Blaze" a young boy asks as he climbs the tree

"I guess so, but to be honest think I'm more excited and nervous to see the my older brothers again " Blaze smirks as he answers to the boy, the boy is a year young than him red hair and amber eyes to the outside world he'd look like a regular human but to those he's got phoenix blood in his veins.

The villages that Blaze has been raised in for the last 8 years is unique Dragons and Wolves don't normally get along let alone love together but this village is different while the rest of the world has changed over the millennias this forest for the most part has remained the same since the Mythical Age also known as the Era of the 13 Great Monarchs, the village was home to multiple species that you wouldn't expect to see coexisting in todays world and at the top of this 'community' are Rift and Chronos two Elder Ancient Dragons that were alive during the Mythical Age as well as a Celestial Fenrir who Blaze chooses to call Fen instead of Celeste much to her annoyance.

"Blaze come" Celeste calls Blaze over and leads him out of the village and deeper into the forest "so tomorrow you leave the village and the forest".

"Yeah but don't worry I…" before Blaze can't finish Celeste interrupts him "You asked once why we're cut off from the rest of the world…. Do you know what this forest is called?"

"The Forest of Monarchs?" Blaze basically ask instead of answering.

"Indeed but do you know why?" Celeste asks knowing that Blaze is most likely going to make some comment about Dragons.

"Because dragons and wolves have a superiority complex" Blaze says with a smirk only to get smacked by Celeste

"Ugh always have to make such comments, it's because this is where the 13 Monarchs first met it's where they made their final stand as well as where they made their biggest regret" Celeste answers "The 13 Monarchs are regarded as heroes that defeated the Scourge but history leaves of the fact that the war could've been prevented or ended earlier if they had heeded the call of a close friend, in the end his death brought them all together so I guess it's irrelevant to most historians… this forest this village it's a legacy it's a reminder and it's a symbol but more than that it's your home never forget that never take that for granted… now gets some sleep you have to leave early if you want to make it to the entrance exams by next week".

"Yes Mam" Blaze response happily while also blatantly annoying Celeste once again.
