MODERN EMPIRE

Chapter 7: ch7- history(edited)

Here's an expanded version of the fabricated history:

Aster sat in the command center, surrounded by his loyal soldiers and advisors. Ainz, the powerful Overlord, stood behind him, a towering figure in black armor.

"Get up," Aster said, addressing the kneeling soldiers. "From now on, you will only kneel when I'm on the throne. As for how you greet me, that will be shown later."

Aster unrolled a large map, displaying their territorial gains. "Make sure no vehicles leave this area without my approval. Ensure the navy doesn't go beyond 15 kilometers from the coast, or they'll encounter sea monsters."

Colonel Wikmler nodded, taking note of the instructions. "Yes, my lord."

Aster continued, "Now, report to me the current situation."

"We've cleared about 50 kilometers of land, but we're running low on fuel and ammo," Colonel Wikmler replied.

Aster smiled, "I have enough fuel and ammo. Just give me a clear area."

After providing the necessary supplies, Aster returned to the meeting room. "Make sure to record everything I'm about to say. This is a top-level secret, unknown to outsiders."

Aster began to outline a fabricated history for their new civilization. "We were living on an unstable island, known as Azura, 530,566 square kilometers in size, with a population of 270 million. Azura was a closed-off nation, with a unique culture and history dating back to the 14th century."

Aster continued, weaving a complex narrative of their supposed past. "Azura was founded by the great King Arin the First, who united the warring clans and established a prosperous kingdom. Over the centuries, Azura developed a distinct culture, with a blend of Eastern and Western influences."

Aster's fabricated history included details of Azura's supposed industrialization, its colonial past, and its struggles for independence. "In the late 19th century, Azura underwent rapid industrialization, driven by the discovery of coal and iron deposits. However, this period was also marked by colonialism, as foreign powers sought to exploit Azura's resources."

Aster's narrative continued, describing Azura's struggles for independence, its civil wars, and its eventual reunification. "After decades of colonial rule, Azura finally gained its independence in the early 20th century. However, this was followed by a devastating civil war, which lasted for over a decade."

Aster's fabricated history also included details of Azura's supposed cultural achievements, its scientific breakthroughs, and its contributions to the world. "Despite the challenges, Azura made significant cultural and scientific contributions to the world. Our artists, writers, and musicians were renowned for their talent, while our scientists made groundbreaking discoveries in fields such as medicine, physics, and engineering."

Aster's plan was to create a rich history, complete with fake events, wars, and cultural milestones. "We'll make it seem like I studied Azura's history and used that knowledge to advance our technology. We'll create a sense of destiny, as if our meeting was meant to be."

The room was filled with the sound of scribbling pens and keyboards clacking as the soldiers and advisors recorded every detail of Aster's fabricated history.

"This will be our new reality," Aster said, his eyes gleaming with determination. "We'll make it a history subject in our schools, and every citizen will know this story. It's the only way to keep ourselves safe and united."

Aster paused, looking around the room. "We'll also create a national calendar, with holidays and celebrations that commemorate our supposed past. We'll make it seem like our ancestors were heroic figures, who fought for our freedom and prosperity."

Aster's advisors nodded, taking note of his instructions. They knew that creating a fabricated history would require careful planning and attention to detail. But they also knew that it was necessary, if they were to create a sense of national identity and purpose.

As the meeting came to a close, Aster stood up, his eyes gleaming with determination. "Let's get to work," he said. "We have a history to create."
