Model Male Zerg of the Zerg Clan

40

Chapter 40

Late that night, at twelve o’clock.

Inside the interrogation room.

The female zergs on duty sat around a small table, holding a worn-out deck of cards in their hands, scattered chips on the table, a few plastic cups with some clear liquid left, and a plate of peanuts half-eaten.

Female zergs could stay up late for a long time, but that didn’t mean they had no feelings at all. To stay alert, they still had to do something to stimulate their tired and numb spirits.

Although there was that female zerg there today, they didn’t need to be vigilant at all.

But they still had to maintain appearances.

The so-called “that female zerg” was actually their colleague, but no female zerg was willing to get close to him.

Keep a distance from the mentally ill, otherwise, it would be unfortunate, this was a universal principle.

On the left hand side of the guards, there was a unique cell.

The cell was quite primitive, with a few iron bars separating a space, allowing a clear view of what the prisoner was doing.

Compared to other cells equipped with surveillance, this one seemed so rudimentary and backward. But simplicity wasn’t necessarily a bad thing; compared to surveillance systems that could be invaded, interfered with, or even shut down, this simple and rough cell was more reliable.

Currently, inside this cell was a black-haired zerg.

Calling him a male zerg, he didn’t smell like one. Calling him a female zerg, he seemed too thin for that. Calling him a sub-female, but where would you find such a tall sub-female?

But that didn’t matter; as long as they ensured this zerg stayed obediently here.

“Eat.”

“Pass.”

“Are you trying to cheat again?!”

“Get lost, which eye of yours saw me cheating?”

They were playing cards, but things got heated, and they started pushing each other, arguing loudly.

“But you did cheat.”

A sudden voice interrupted their shoving, and everyone turned to see—

Leaning against the railing, innocently looking, was Lu Xi.

Lu Xi pointed at the sleeve of one of the zergs, “He’s hiding cards in his sleeve, swapping them out when he uses them. I saw it.”

So everyone’s gaze focused on the sleeve of that zerg. The zerg was speechless, “You guys believe him too?”

“We believe.”

“We believe.”

“Turn his sleeve over for me!!”

“Damn!! You really hid them, huh?!”

After a noisy commotion, it took a while for things to settle down, and everyone resumed playing cards around the table, grumbling. Someone casually picked up a pack of peanuts and threw it to Lu Xi, “Eat.”

Lu Xi took it, found a clean spot, and sat down to open it.

The indoor lighting was dim, the lamp probably hadn’t been changed in years, like a candlelight, making everything blurry.

Creating a perfect environment for cheating.

There was a window up high, also welded shut with iron bars, but tonight there was a big moon, and the moonlight seemed brighter.

Lu Xi looked at the moonlight separated by the iron bars, unconsciously twirling the ring on his index finger.

It was his habit, the ring was the first gift his male father gave him, whenever he hesitated, he would habitually twirl it.

Before long, he finished his peanuts.

As he put the last peanut into his mouth, there was a creaking sound of the door opening from outside, the cold wind tilted in, freezing everyone.

Including Lu Xi, the already scarce warmth was completely blown away, teeth chattering like a printer, da da da da da.

Following the sound, Lu Xi looked over, in the dim light, a person in a black prison guard uniform stood at the door.

He wore a heavy coat, casually draped over his shoulders, and under the coat, the uniform outlined a slim waistline.

With one hand resting on the door, it was stained with blood, dripping down along the slender knuckles.

When he opened the door, the other female zergs even stopped playing cards, staring blankly at him. Lu Xi looked at their expressions and raised his eyebrows inquisitively.

“Is, is it Luo Ko!”

“You’re a bit later than usual today.”

“Haha…”

The person didn’t speak, just silently took a step forward, and the light finally illuminated his face, but disappointingly, nothing could be seen.

His face was covered in dense bandages, only revealing a pair of dark, obscure eyes, even harder to see in the already blurry light.

As he walked, the wind coat fluttered, revealing the long whip tied around his waist, flashing with a dark sheen, and the heavy smell of blood gradually filled the room.

The female zergs, already sensitive to their senses, couldn’t help but frown at this.

He stood before the railing.

Lu Xi sat on the ground, facing him across the railing, thinking that this was probably the pervert mentioned by Officer Huang.

Those eyes, which Lu Xi found particularly beautiful, removed a key from his waist and leisurely opened the cell door. He walked straight in, stopping in front of Lu Xi. The other female zergs didn’t even bother to inquire, just looking at Lu Xi with sympathy.

Their faces said, “Can’t bear to look.”

Lu Xi couldn’t even be bothered to turn his head, looking up at the female zerg named Luo Ko, not saying a word.

Save some energy for later shouting, what else can you do?

Luo Ko leaned down, took the terrifying, blood-soaked whip from his waist, and pressed it against Lu Xi’s chin.

Then, he pushed Lu Xi’s head up, his voice hoarse and unclear from beneath the bandages: “Look at me.”

Lu Xi’s gaze passed over his eyes.

Then it was pulled back, pupils trembling.

Luo Ko’s back faced the railing, blocking most of it, but the few guards still saw Lu Xi’s expression.

Tsk tsk, poor kid, scared out of his wits.

It is said that Luo Ko’s face was corroded by highly corrosive liquid, completely ruined, and he had to wrap it in bandages.

The cause of this disaster was his overly perverted personality, but instead of restraining himself after being injured, he became even more unbridled.

Poor kid, he’s scared stiff now. How’s he going to hold on later?

But what left them even more dumbfounded was what happened next.

“Kiss me.” This was what Luo Ko said, two short and unclear words. He seemed unusually silent today, unlike his usual venomous self.

Lu Xi reached out, his fingers touching Luo Ko’s bandages, rubbing slowly.

Then, along the gap in the bandages, he slid into Luo Ko’s lips.

…For some reason, the four spectators felt a bit flushed.

Damn it!!

What is this about! Has Luo Ko changed his ways today?!

But nobody wanted to stay any longer. They’d rather spend the night outside, frozen into ice sculptures, anything but seeing Luo Ko’s face under the bandages, and certainly not wanting to see what they were up to!

“Damn it!”

“Let’s go, let’s go.”

The last guard to leave slammed the door, seemingly still unsatisfied, he locked the door three times with the key, and finally kicked the door hard before feeling satisfied.

Lu Xi tore off “Luo Ko’s” hat, revealing a head of silver hair hidden beneath it. “Xia Baiyuan.”

Xia Baiyuan’s eyes curved slightly. “Hmm.”

Lu Xi looked at him incredulously. “How did you manage to do this?”

Xia Baiyuan pointed in a certain direction. “When I infiltrated, he had just taken out a prisoner. I thought he was suitable, so I knocked him out and came in.”

He swung the whip forcefully, making a loud whistling sound. “Let out a scream.”

Lu Xi complied and let out a miserable scream to avoid arousing suspicion from the female zergs outside.

Xia Baiyuan took off his coat, revealing why he was only wearing it. The inside was filled with all sorts of peculiar objects.

Xia Baiyuan picked up a saw-like object and looked up at the railing on the window. “I’m here to rescue you.”

The bandages weren’t wrapped tightly, so they unraveled easily as he moved. When he tilted his head back, the moonlight fell on him, illuminating his snowy white chin, combined with the prison guard’s uniform—

There was an extra sense of restraint.

Lu Xi shook off his wandering thoughts and tried to focus. “Rescue me? If we run away like this, won’t we become fugitives?”

“Hmm.”

Xia Baiyuan said lightly, “I’m experienced. Don’t worry.”
