Chapter 1342: The Following Month (2)
Whoosh!
"Great work, guys. That went far better than I thought it would."
As Valyr and the others walked out of a portal, the five had bright smiles on their faces, their expressions clearly telling others how well their run had gone.
"What do you mean it went far better?" Thomas looked back at the young man with a hint of incredulity. "We did fucking amazing, man!"
"The coordination Alisa and I had at the front, the support Meria gave from the rear, and the magic bombardment you and Lucques sent down at the enemies, all of it was perfect!"
"Not only that, but also keep in mind that almost all of us are still at the peak of Rank 1," chimed Meria by the side, with Lucques and Alisa nodding in agreement.
"It may just be a one-time dungeon, but it's a one-time dungeon made for Rank 2 players at the very least."
"Alright, alright." Not knowing how his earlier words had caused the four to gang up on him all of a sudden, the young man relented whilst he let out a sigh, a slightly wry smile hanging on his face. "We did amazing. Happy?"
Hearing that, the four quickly nodded in agreement, finally ending the small argument they had about their performance in the dungeon they just ran.
After equally splitting off the loot they got from the dungeon, the five of them decided to go their separate ways for the meantime, with Valyr heading to the guild.
…
Whoosh!
Appearing at the guild's Teleportation Hall, the young man had a slight smile on his face after seeing the territory look livelier than it did at the start.
Briefly glancing at the people moving to and from the various buildings their guild had, Valyr soon asked for a certain member of their guild, who only took a minute or so to appear in front of him.
"You called?" asked the man, to which Valyr nodded in response.
"How's progress on the guild hall upgrade?"
"Funds-wise, we've got more than enough to push the upgrade through," replied the man. "Same goes for all of the materials needed for the upgrade. After all, all of it just needs the members to run Cave of Beginnings on Nightmare again and again."
"However, we're still lacking a lot when it comes to Guild XP." The man let out a sigh at those words. "We've already got two parties constantly doing the nearest Rank 2 dungeon to take advantage of the level gap, actually."
"Though, at the rate we're going, we might need a few more days before we get there."
"Hmm…" Faintly nodding in response to the man's words, Valyr pondered over the situation for a bit before deciding to solve the problem once and for all.
Ding!
Receiving a notification from the system a few seconds later, the man briefly felt a bit of confusion, only for his eyes to widen in shock as he took a look at the notification in detail.
Shifting his gaze towards Valyr, the man's expression immediately turned into that of excitement, telling him that the upgrade would be done shortly.
Giving the man a slight smile in response, Valyr watched as the man disappeared from his field of vision, only for the guild hall to take on ethereal glow a few seconds later.
Seeing that, he went ahead and brought up the guild's information in front of him, causing him to grin by the time he was done reading.

"To think that it would only take a month for the guild to go from Level 1 to Level 3," muttered Valyr to himself, only to let out a slight chuckle as he thought about how he made it possible.
Considering that the cost to upgrade buildings drastically increased by the time they reached the Basic tier, the young man thought that it'd probably take half a month back on Earth for them to construct the Intermediate Guild Hall, which corresponded to a Level 3 guild.
Though, just as the guild was starting to increase in numbers, the knowledge of obtaining Reinforcement Elixirs using Deltas had finally spread throughout the player base, causing the events Valyr knew from the past to happen once again.
Yet, before the hierarchy of power brought about by the Reinforcement Elixirs could even form, the thought immediately crumbled within the span of days as knowledge of craftable Reinforcement Elixirs anonymously spread throughout the forum.
Naturally, many players wanted to know which person shared that information, curious as to what motives that person might have.
Did that person want the players to be on equal standing with those who bought Reinforcement Elixirs? Or did that person share that information in order to cause chaos?
Whatever the reason may be, the players immediately went on a frenzy finding a way to source the elixirs themselves.
Coincidentally, it was around this time that Valyr and his guild began to sell these exact elixirs, pricing them at least twice what it usually sold for in the market.
Though some players took note of this and abstained from buying his goods, the majority still went ahead and bought it anyway, knowing that they'd lag behind others if they were to try sourcing it themselves.
Because of that, the Azure Coalition basically turned into a rich guild overnight, with the only resource hampering them from upgrading their facilities and buildings from that point onwards being XP.
'Speaking of XP, I suppose I'll wait for a bit longer before sharing the existence of Experience Pits.' Closing the screen he brought up, a thought popped up in Valyr's mind as he stepped on the teleportation construct once more.
Setting his destination to the Mage Guild branch in Astella City after that, the young man soon disappeared from the Teleportation Hall, making it seem like he hadn't gone there at all.
