Miracle Summoner

Chapter 1968: -1927- Remain a neutral observer

Under Nitocris' guidance, Rozen and Mash visited various areas of Atlas.

Specifically, they explored the alchemists' workshops previously mentioned and the storage vaults filled with numerous Mystic Codes.

The former housed the research and ongoing projects of Atlas' many alchemists. As for the latter, the weaponry accumulated over thousands of years was said to rival the legendary treasure vault of King Arthur.

However, these two locations did not offer much to Rozen.

Having already acquired all alchemical knowledge from Atlas, the research and projects preserved in the Tri-Hermes, including their progress and potential developments. Rozen only obtained a few tools for alchemy here, which were insignificant compared to the knowledge in the Tri-Hermes.

As for the Mystic Codes in the vault, while tempting, Rozen didn't feel a strong need for them. He had already acquired the methods to create them, and those that could be accessed were generally less dangerous. The truly powerful and dangerous Mystic Codes, like the Seven Great Weapons, remained sealed in unknown locations, yet to be discovered by Nitocris.

In the end, Rozen took only one Mystic Code from the vault: the Atlas Academy Uniform.

According to the information left in the Tri-Hermes, this Mystic Code was developed by Atlas with the goal of creating the strongest existence. Although this was still a prototype, it already had three effects, named Dust of Osiris, Rain of Isis, and Eye of Medjed.

- Sand of Osiris provides defense comparable to Noble Phantasms.

- Rain od Isis dispels curses and negative statuses.

- Eye of Medjed shortens the time required to use spells and skills.

These three effects were exceptional.

While Rozen himself didn't require it—its effects paled compared to the amplification and protection provided by Kinu and Gyokuto—it held great value for Chaldea. With proper research, it could significantly enhance the performance of Chaldea's uniforms, benefiting Mash and other members of Chaldea. Thus, Rozen took the Mystic Code not for his own use but to bring it back to Chaldea.

Afterward, the group returned to the entrance of Atlas.

Exiting, as it turned out, was far more challenging than entering. Due to Atlas' unique protective mechanisms, specifically designed to prevent internal personnel from leaving, even with Nitocris leading the way, they spent considerable effort to finally reach the entrance.

Next, Rozen instructed Nitocris to awaken the slumbering Mountain People. As they cried out with joy at their rescue, Rozen bid farewell to Nitocris.

Rozen and Mash were ready to lead the Mountain People back to the City of the Mountain.

However, Nitocris was astonished.

"You're not going to pay respects to King Ozymandias?"

From her perspective, since Rozen had come all this way and received the Sun King's hospitality, it was only proper to visit Ozymandias.

Truthfully, Rozen had considered meeting the Sun King before.

But now, Rozen felt it unnecessary.

"Before long, we, along with the Black King, will launch an attack on the Holy City," Rozen stated openly.

"And judging by your situation, it seems you have no intention of attacking the Holy City yourselves."

Rozen saw through it.

Nitocris didn't deny it. She nodded without hesitation, her lack of guile evident.

"Currently, the Lion King's power is overwhelming. While the Sun King is great, our opponent is a true deity holding three Holy Grails. Even with the Sun King's extraordinary strength, akin to a cheat hero possessing mythical beasts, multiple treasures, map weapons, fortresses, Reality Marbles, and universal imperial privileges, he still admits he cannot prevail against the lord of the world's end."

Nitocris reluctantly admitted this, though her revelation left others speechless.

"A cheat hero with mythical beasts, multiple treasures, map weapons, fortresses, Reality Marbles, and imperial privileges..." Rozen rolled his eyes.

"This… this is Ramses II?" Mash was also stunned by Ozymandias' absurd strength.

Indeed, Ozymandias was unparalleled. Yet, with the Lion King having ascended to godhood, wielding three Holy Grails and the overwhelmingly broken Holy Lance, even Ozymandias had to admit defeat.

Thus, Ozymandias' course of action was already decided.

"If the Seven Great Weapons cannot be found before the Lion King's Holy Lance is fully prepared, the Sun King will use his Noble Phantasm—The Shining Great Temple Complex—to gather all his subjects into his territory and retreat, emulating the Lion King."

Nitocris conveyed this.

"This…"

Mash was shocked.

This revealed that Ozymandias also possessed methods similar to the Lion King. Even if the Lion King succeeded, he could still ensure his own survival.

However, the Lion King's actions had already caused the world to fracture, threatening the collapse of human history. If the Sun King followed suit, the situation would worsen.

This was something that must not happen.

For that reason...

"I hope you'll inform the Sun King that the Lion King will be defeated by us," Rozen declared firmly.

"We ask that during our battle with the Lion King, even if the Sun King does not assist us, he must not interfere and should remain a neutral observer."

This was Rozen's sole message for Ozymandias.

"Such insolence!" Nitocris was angry but, seeing Rozen's indifferent expression, could only sigh in defeat.

In the end...

"I'll deliver your message," Nitocris agreed reluctantly.

"I hope you truly can defeat the Lion King."

With those words, Nitocris departed.

Rozen and Mash exchanged a glance and smiled knowingly.

Soon after, Rozen summoned his dragons, taking the Mountain People with him, and flew out of the desert toward the City of the Mountain.

This journey had proven fruitful, bringing Rozen unexpected rewards.
