Everyone readies to fire at Player. Suddenly Player and Kamo switch positions.

Kamo: (I got teleported to Player's location?)

Suddenly Todo attacks Kamo from behind, which he dodges.

Todo: I told you, don't get in my way.

Kamo: Huh? (Did Player use commands? No, he is too inexperienced to use commands yet, which means Todo…). We need to kill him.

Player: That depends on Player. I'm not the kind of man who shows mercy on his best friend.

Kamo nods and starts moving away.

Miwa: (Finally, we're retreating.)

All of them start retreating.

Mai: But why are we retreating?

Kamo: We can't fight Todo anyway. Let him handle Player however he wants. We should focus on the Tournament. We will deal with Player after if we get the chance.

Momo is flying with an Elytra, keeping an eye on Steve's team. She is attacked from the back by a Phantom, knocking her down on a tree.

Kamo: Mai, Mechamaru, go help Momo.

Mechamaru and Mai run towards Momo.

Miwa follows Kamo but is attacked from behind by Maki who swings her sword at her but Miwa blocks it. Kamo stops and runs to help her but is blocked by Megumi.

Megumi: You guys…Are you guys trying to kill Player?

Momo: That must have been Megumi's Phantom.

She looks below and finds herself surrounded by Nobara and Panda.

Panda: Hey Momo!

Nobara: Let's play Momo!

Momo: These guys…

Player and Todo fight each other, each trying to land a hit on the other. They both are able to perfectly block the other's attacks but none is able to hit their opponent. Todo swings his sword and Player dodges it by jumping in the air and spinning above Todo, slashing him from behind, mid-air.

Todo: Impressive.

They continue sparring. Player tries to kick Todo but he blocks it with his arm. Todo swings his sword at Player but he blocks it with his sword. He immediately attacks him but Todo bends behind, evading the attack.

Todo: (Amazing power and speed. He has the potential to be far better than me.) You are strong.

Player: I know.

Todo: But you need to train more.

Player: I'm strong enough to beat you already.

Tod: And am I the only one you will ever fight?

Player: …

Todo: Are you satisfied by just being as strong as you are now? Will you be satisfied with just beating me? If you are satisfied like that, I'm sorry but we can't be friends. With that attitude, you won't be able to beat me. You will forever be this weak.

Player: I'm not weak.

Todo: Then show me, my best friend.

Player attacks Todo with a much higher speed. Todo blocks them but notices the increased speed. Todo parries Player's attack and swings his sword at him, but Player blocks the hit and immediately counterattacks by stabbing Todo.

Todo: (He is able to read my attacks and counter effectively. He…He is evolving.)

Using the force applied while stabbing him, Player kicks Todo's leg, and pushes him, pinning him down. He attacks Todo while he is down, but Todo suddenly grabs his hand and pulls him down. Then kicks him in the stomach, knocking him away.

Todo: You attack fast because you are a fast thinker and have good reflexes. But you are still slow. You might defeat players like this but what about mobs? Average mobs are slow. But the kind that's been attacking recently, special grade mobs, glitched mobs, bosses. They don't think and attack. They just attack because it's in their nature. Their body is made for it and hence it responds automatically.

Player: What are you trying to say?

Todo: Instincts. Train yourself to attack and defend on instincts. You should attack automatically. You shouldn't always think and then attack. When you have trained yourself this much, the body attacks itself. You should have that speed. That muscle memory. Respond naturally, not forcefully.

Player: I think I got it. Thanks, Todo.

Todo: Yes. Now show it to me.

Nobara: You guys are trying to kill Player, right?

Momo: Huh? What are you talking about?

Nobara: I won't go easy on you, you know. I will kill you.

Panda: Hey Nobara, we can't kill remember…

Panda gets hit by an arrow from behind, knocking him down.

Nobara: …

Mechamaru appears from behind with a crossbow.

Momo lands down.

Momo: Let me teach her a lesson first.

Panda: That hurt.

Panda suddenly gets up and runs towards Mechamaru. Mechamaru defends himself but Panda kicks him in the stomach, knocking him away.

Mechamaru eats an apple, then takes out a sword.

Panda: Hungry mid-battle?

Mechamaru runs towards him and stabs Panda with his sword.

Panda: (So fast…)

Mechamaru prepares to attack again but Panda kicks him and gets away from him. Mechamaru takes out a TNT and fires it at Panda, who takes out a shield and blocks the damage from the explosion but is blown away by the impact. Mechamaru takes out another apple and eats it. Panda suddenly appears in front of Mechamaru and starts attacking him with fast continuous attacks. Mechamaru blocks most of them but gets hit a few times. Mechamaru takes out another apple and starts eating it.

Panda: You eat a lot. Even when fighting. You're a strong player who is skilled in both close as well as ranged combat. You have a wide range of weapons. Are you mocking me by eating during the fight? Showing how you're not serious.

Mechamaru: I don't care about mocking anyone. I have to eat to stay alive.

Panda: What?

Mechamaru: I don't know how it happened, but during one of my earliest missions, while I was fighting a witch, I got hit by a potion that gave me hunger effect. I don't know how but my game glitched at that moment. The hunger effect somehow became permanent. It couldn't even be healed with milk. So I am constantly hungry. I have to eat constantly or else I will die.

Panda: Oh.

Mechamaru: But that doesn't stop me.

Mechamaru takes out 4 TNTs and fires them one after the other. Panda blocks them all with his shield, but the shield gets destroyed by the 3rd TNT and Panda gets hit by the 4th one. Mechamaru starts walking away. He notices Panda walking towards him and looks back to see him approaching him.

Panda: I am irritated now.

Mechamaru: (He can still fight?)

Panda suddenly rushes towards Mechamaru and strikes him with his sword. Mechamaru blocks it with his shield but is thrown back by the impact.

Mechamaru: (He suddenly became faster?)

Panda: You think you are strong huh? You beat him but you can't beat me.

Mechamaru: (His way of talking changed. Who is he talking about?)

Panda jumps towards him and attacks him. Mechamaru jumps away.

Panda: My brother usually plays for fun. He is good and can easily beat most players. But he lacks the competitiveness of his elder brother. You will now fight me.

Mechamaru: Elder brother?

Panda is actually an account that is controlled by 3 siblings. The youngest of them plays the game mostly. When he fights someone he can not defeat, he switches with his brother who is more competitive and plays only to win. Their elder sister plays in between from time to time when they need help crafting and building because she is smarter and more creative than the 2.

Mechamaru takes out an apple but before he can eat it he is suddenly attacked by Panda. Mechamaru keeps dodging the attacks as Panda continuously attacks him with his sword. Mechamaru gets away from Panda and fires arrows at him but Panda deflects them all with his sword and even gets hit by one but doesn't stop and hits Mechamaru. Mechamaru uses the impact to get away from Panda and starts eating the apple. Panda chases him. He finishes eating the apple and suddenly charges at Panda with his sword. Panda defends himself but Mechamaru passes by him. Panda realizes this but before he could turn around, Mechamaru hits him with an arrow. He then rushes towards him and stabs him with his sword.

Mechamaru: You fought well.

Mechmaru takes out another apple but suddenly gets stabbed by Panda.

Mechamaru is now at 1 heart.

Panda; Don't underestimate your enemies. Especially when fighting more than one. Hehe. You are strong. You are always fighting with a handicap. I can't imagine how strong you would be without the hunger glitch. Let's fight again someday.

Miwa: I'm sorry about Player. I don't want to kill him. But I don't plan to let you guys win the Tournament.

Maki: That's fine by me. I plan to win as well.
