MIGHT AS WELL BE OP

Chapter 771: Divine Declaration

"Why didn't you tell us about it?" Michael asked.

Anthony sighed before responding, "Nothing. I was at the Omni Peak Academy at the time of the change. I suppose after a few months, I simply forgot to ever mention it."

"Sigh… If this had happened when you were still weaker, I would have handed out some punishment. But now, no punishment would even work," Mitchelle said with a small smile.

"No need to lie. Even when he was weaker and younger, you never punished him. Why would you suddenly start now?" Michael replied with a teasing smirk.

"Then I'll transfer the punishment to you," Mitchelle said as she turned toward her husband.

Michael's smirk froze instantly as he heard his wife's words. "Of course, I was only joking," he laughed awkwardly, trying to diffuse the situation. But Mitchelle didn't budge. She simply turned her gaze away from him, her blue eyes landing softly on Anthony.

"Anthony," she began to speak, her tone gentle yet firm, "although I… we, would love to hear about your abilities and their effects, know that you are not obligated to tell us if you don't wish to. We may be your parents and grandparents, but that doesn't mean you have to share every single thing with us. Children keep things from their parents, that's normal, because everyone has secrets. Even parents keep things from one another. So if you don't want to speak about any of your abilities, there's no need to."

She paused for a moment before continuing. "And don't think that our love for you would lessen, or that we would be disappointed in you, simply because you chose not to tell us."

Anthony nodded in understanding as a small smile curved his lips. He appreciated her words deeply, though he had already decided to speak about his abilities, not in full detail, but at least enough to introduce them. Yes, he had hidden many things from his family, but there was no harm in showing what he could.

"I understand," he said softly, "but I'll show you."

At his words, everyone turned their full attention to him, intrigued. After all, the Death Blesser ability was already overwhelmingly powerful, anything beyond that was bound to be astonishing.

"The first of the two abilities I'll show you is called Severance," Anthony began. He purposely omitted the prefix "Authority of" from its true title, deciding to keep that part private for now.

"It was with this ability that I was able to sever the Second Supreme Monarch's talent and abilities, as I told you earlier," Anthony said calmly. Turning toward the glass window on the wall, he activated Authority of Severance.

In an instant, his perception shifted, the world around him became a tapestry of glowing threads. With a mere thought, he pulled one thread, and the window shattered into countless fragments.

"Basically," Anthony explained, "this ability can sever anything, and what's severed can never be rejoined. Even if I rewind time itself, the window would remain shattered forever. I can sever physical things, yes, but also non-physical concepts."

As he spoke, he demonstrated further. With another thought, he severed the concept of distance between himself and Collins, and instantly, he appeared behind his grandfather without a ripple of energy or space.

He turned back to the group and asked, "Did any of you feel space ripple?"

They all shook their heads. Even though only Mitchelle possessed spatial affinity, as planetary-level beings, the others would have been able to sense any spatial fluctuation, and yet, they felt nothing.

"That's because I severed the concept of distance between Grandfather and me, effectively eliminating space itself between us," Anthony explained calmly. "Now imagine… if you could sever anything and everything with nothing more than a single thought."

He vanished again, reappearing at his original position as though teleportation itself had bent to his will.

Collins, Mitchelle, Irene, and Michael sat in stunned silence as their thoughts raced. Their imaginations couldn't help but wander, was there even an offensive ability more terrifying than this?

"Are there any restrictions?" Mitchelle finally asked. Despite what she had seen and heard, she wanted to be sure. Abilities of this magnitude usually had limitations or costs.

Anthony shook his head lightly. "No, it doesn't. Everything depends solely on control and mastery. Aside from that, nothing, no mana, no energy, nothing is required."

Mitchelle nodded slowly, her expression thoughtful.

"The second ability," Anthony continued, "is called Quantum Manipulation. At its peak, this ability can do practically anything, rewrite reality, pause it, destroy it. It can create something from almost nothing. Just like Severance, it depends on control and mastery."

He raised his right hand, and a small fireball appeared above his palm, glowing softly yet radiating no heat.

"This," he said, "is a fireball I created using Quantum Manipulation. No energy, no mana required. This was the same ability I used to change the Second Supreme Monarch's race, rewriting existence itself, transforming him from a Vampire into a Demon. I also used it to forcibly alter the mana within his core into chaos energy."

The fireball vanished with a thought. Then, without a word, Anthony glanced at a silver spoon lying on the dining table. The spoon began to levitate, surrounded by a faint shimmer, before morphing into a ripe, red apple. The apple floated gently through the air until it stopped in front of Michael.

"You can take a bite and see for yourself," Anthony said casually.

"Using your father as a lab rat, huh? Sigh…" Michael muttered with an amused tone before taking the apple. Without hesitation, he bit into it. After chewing for a moment and swallowing, he blinked in mild surprise. "Tastes perfectly normal."

Mitchelle, curious, extended her hand. The apple drifted from Michael to her through telekinesis. She took a bite as well. "It tastes just like a real apple," she said after a moment, taking another bite for confirmation.

"That's because it is a real apple," Anthony replied simply.

A brief silence followed as his family members processed what they had just witnessed.

"In conclusion," Anthony said calmly, folding his arms, "with Severance, I can severe anything and everything, and with Quantum Manipulation, I can create or reshape literally anything."

His words hung in the air like a divine declaration. The sheer weight of those abilities combined was enough to leave even planetary-level beings speechless.

Collins leaned back slightly, still digesting the implications. Mitchelle and Irene exchanged silent glances, while Michael let out a long breath before chuckling softly.

"It seems," Michael said after a while, his lips curving into a proud smile, "I can no longer call you my baby monster. You've grown far too much already."
