Chapter 3: Kamado Estate

~Kamado Estate, Nezuko Manor Halls~

~15 minutes later, Remi walked through the Nezuko Manor with Isha in his arms as she mumbled about building 'bombs'~

Remi broke the mumblings of his daughter with a question that piqued her interest, "Do you know why I call you Bluebird?"

"No, and I am not a bird. I'm... Isha." she said, sulking slightly at the last word.

"Is something wrong?" Remi asked, seeing through her wondering eyes.

"Why do you call me a Bluebird? Does it mean something special?" Isha asked, trying her best to avoid the subject while looking as cheerful as possible. Remi took notice of this, however, Remi knows that Isha has shown she isn't like other children. More headstrong, more mature.

'I guess you'll tell me when you feel comfortable'. It bothered Remi slightly that Isha was keeping her feelings hidden from him but he won't force her to talk when she wasn't comfortable. His worry faded and he smile softly.

"In French folklore, the bluebird symbolizes good news and joy. And seeing you is all the good news I need." this made Isha truly giggle with a childish blush.

"You're happy when you see me?" she asked in slight disbelief.

"The most happy." said Remi with the stupidest grind on his face.

"Can I call you bluebird, you make me happy too." Isha said with a smile. it nearly killed Remi. 'So cute!'

"Ahem, no. I'm too handsome to be called a bird." He said as he mimicked royalty.

"Maybe something more manly? What do you think?" said Remi while flexing his muscles. Isha looked through her current and past memories. What could she call Remi. Her father in this world. She thought of a name fitting, one of the she believed fitted Remi the best.

"Wolfie!!!" She exclaimed joyously. Remi gave an awkward smile which Isha noticed.

"Do you hate it?" she sulked, fearing the worst, but Remi's next words surprised her.

"Why not Wolf? Do I look like a little man?" said, his pride slightly wounded as his muscles drooped sadly.

"Nooo!!!" Isha said, embarrassed slightly by her own outburst that caught the attention of the nearby maids, she covered her mouth and spoke in a lower volume. Her tone and voice making her sound shy in a way.

"It's because you're not scary like a big wolf, you're a happy wolf." She said gleefully.

"Fine, you win. You can call me Wolfie. But keep it between me and you okay."

"Like a secret code?"

"The most secret of codes." 'Suki would never let me hear the end of it.'

Isha giggled as they made their way to their side of the mansion.

~Tanjiro Manor, Dinner Hall~

An important meeting was taking place and all the elders were present except one man, the Head Elder.

"His arrogance is an insult to Elders!" said a man covered in scars, his skin pale, and his body zombified. He sat with a small double-edged sword, his version of a ceremonialblade while the other weapons of the Elders sat with their attendents. He was the Lieutenant Elder, Shimotsuki Ryuma, and entitled to such a privilege. He was enraged as this continuous habit of Shingen being late to meetings had began to influence his responsibilities.

"Well, if it bothers you so much, challenge him to a 'Sekigahara'. said a man sarcastically with a mask distorting his Indian accent. The rest of his body, however, looked almost foreign in the room before him. Despite his human-like attire, his body was covered in feathers. Black and silky, but slightly blue, almost like the night sky. He reassembled an anthropomorphic crow with red eyes, but in reality he was an Asian Koel heteromorph, a mutant.

"And lose? It'd rather complain about his tardiness than fight the No. 4 Hero." He chuckled as he leaned in closer to Fumikage Kuraokami. "We both know if the Clan Head wasn't the strongest, he would be more serial-."

"Shimotsuki. That is no way too talk about the Head Elder. At least speak the truth in private. Do not lower yourself to gossip on others." Suki scolded. Her lips frowned. "Toyotomi-sama is a respectable swordsmen in regards to skill, and he has been a member of our clan since his adolescence. It is still wrong to assume that his ideology is as warped as a villain's mind."

"It is not merely an assumption Clan Head. I have sparred with him many times and-"

~Whoosh! Thud!~

The doors slammed open as Toyotomi Shingen strolled in, every step more prideful than the last. "Did you miss me that much, Ryuma. Apologies for my tardiness everyone." he said while bowing slightly, mostly towards Suki.

"Toyotomi-sama. You're late." Suki said, her expression calm, her smile inviting but her tone suggesting a warning to Shingen. He stiffened slightly, before his demeanor returned to his sly smile. "Suki. How have-"

"Head Kamado." Suki said while standing up from her cross-sitting position. Her hair tips turning a shade of green and mending with her magenta locks. Her eyes turning to shed of burning pink, as if pink flames blazed through her skull. "Address me as such."

She placed one foot on the council table and vanished. From her position, multiple streaks of green lights rushed to Shingen followed by distant pink footprints. Shingen's expression tensed as his hands motioned to his one of his blades, his gold katana. A crackle thundered from his scabbard, and lightning flashed as his sword quickly moved out of his sword. The tip of a white blade bled through the green streaks. Shingen's blade made it's way out of his scabbard and the white blade, now taking the appearance of a white Wakizashi, showed its full length of about 60cm. Sweat dripped down his face slowly as his legs thundered from his stance. He grunted lightly as his sword made way to block the white Wakizashi. Lightning then flashed violently and his sword glowed until he heard a gentle voice.

"Shingen, only ceremonial blades is allowed within these halls and yet you brandish it so boldly!" said Suki as she made her appearance through the green streaks of light. Her blade was gentle, slightly grazing Shigen's golden Katana and deflecting his lightning into some nearby pillars and destroying them while Shingen's sword was rotated to the ground, causing him to kneel. "Don't let a dead man's acknowledgement blind you with arrogance."

Shingen felt his heart drop slightly as Suki's blade had been inches away from his head. Due to the nature of her blade, he lived. His eyes however spoke volumes of arrogance, "Simply because I was caught off guard, does not mean you should demean the words of-", then the room intensified with pure bloodlust. Suki's eyes burned a vibrant pink and her hair flowed a fertile green with spots of magenta. All 9 Elders arose and rushed to Shigen's side in a flash.

"Shingen. Make no mistake. I have long surpassed the Sun Breathing my father preached so highly of. I no longer look to the Sun for comfort, because the Stars shine much brighter. Why don't you have a look what that blind man could never see." Suki spoke as she raised her white Wakizashi and her figure distorted slightly, "Space Breathing: Sixth Form; Drop of Remorseful Light", and her blade fell. All Elders rushed in at once, quirks and blades syncing all to stop her advance. Suki's blade clashed with an amalgamation of darkness, steel, decay, rust, sea, earth and turbulent scorching heat that burned from Shingen. The ground cracked and the bodies of all the 9 Elders ruptured internally. Ryuma was dealt the least damage, while Shingen was sprinkled with millimeter shallow cuts that covered the surface of his head, shoulders, and back from his kneeled position.

Suki raised her blade and sheathed it, "Know your place Toyotomi and remember that despite the body I was born in-", she leaned in closer, her bloodlust falling and her expression softening into a straight smile with her violet eyes shining through Shingen's soul. Her once magenta hair returning slowly and she continued to speak, "-you are a million years too young to even think of defeating me, boy."

Suki then look to the injured Elders, their breaths still wavering, "I do apologize for harming you all. Tardiness I may forgive, but bringing any weapon other than the ones the Clan allows into meetings is a heavy crime.", she stood up and straightened her Edo kamon green and black-checkered styled kimono. The green almost blending in with the black while the black squares held engraved suns within them. "Remember what we discussed in our meeting, focus on civilian within the Western Region of Japan; more specifically Osaka, Kyoto and Hiroshima. Powerhouses like All Might and Endeavor are both quick and strong, I'm only fast in comparison which means coordinating villain arrests should be our specialty. I will leave the rest to you to explain to Toyotomi-sama, Shimotsuki-sama. I have an urgent appointment I must attend to before I leave for my nightly patrol."

All Elders, including Shingen who was bleeding slightly from his scalp, shoulders, and back, bowed respectfully. The next moment they noticed Suki missing and only her footprints remaining. A second later, more footsteps around the council hall began to appear. On the ceiling, the pillars and around them too. "Toyotomi. Be glad this wasn't a Sekigahara." Ryuma chuckled as he went back to his seat.

A summary was provided to Shingen of their meeting with Suki while Suki when to have dinner with her husband and daughter.
