Null/Izuku

The conversation with Rumi had gone surprisingly well all things considered; I had expected something along the lines of, 'Why would I train someone who kidnapped me?' or, 'Sorry, teaching ain't my style.' Then we'd carry on like nothing happened.

What I wasn't expecting was her to relish the chance.

It was like watching her fighting a random villain but with less fighting and more evil-looking smiles; it honestly scared me with how enthusiastic she was.

But that didn't matter now. The training was a done deal, and she had agreed to do so until the UA entrance exams started, which, last I checked, was about six months away—a short yet long time in hindsight.

My thoughts were interrupted when the UA building came into view.

Glancing over, I found that Miriko had ducked down for one reason or another, maybe I should tell her about the tinted windows the car was equipped with; giving the thought some more thought, I shook my head with a small chuckle, where would be the fun in that.

Driving up to the building, I ignored the parking lot just across the street and drove around back, which took a moment considering the sheer size of the complex.

After a few more minutes, I pulled my vehicle into an underground parking lot, using a card I got from the rat a while ago to let me pass the security measures.

Pulling into a spot, I quickly turned off the engine and got out; the hero remained due to a small condition placed on the training deal.

Wrapping around to the passenger side, I pulled open the door and gave a slight bow; "After you madam," I spoke with the most formal voice I could muster.

She grinned while stepping out, "And here I thought you weren't going to hold up your end of the deal."

Plastering up a grin of my own I responded, "I'm nothing if not a man of my word."

Her grin just turned more feral at my words, "We'll see how long that'll last pretty boy," she said while holding up six fingers in a somewhat teasing manner.

I was already starting to regret giving her this power over me, as I had a feeling I'd be hearing a lot more pet names than I'd be comfortable with.

Closing the car door, I walked past the hero and made my way over to the door that I knew led up to the main building; digging through my pockets, I dug around until I found a ring of keys, each neatly engraved with the name they belonged to.

Grabbing the one that said Lower Level, I quickly unlocked the door and gestured for the hero to go forward, but when I looked back I noticed the hero was just a tiny bit distracted with looking around.

 "Rumi?" I called out.

Hearing her name, she turned to face me and hummed in acknowledgment.

Once again I gestured to the now-unlocked door, something she seemed to finally take notice of.

After that, everything went pretty smoothly, with us being able to make it to the second floor without issue; from there, Miriko seemed to deem it fit that she led the way, something I had no complaints about.

Now with it being my turn to just follow, I started noticing the blaring lack of students, something I figured would be out and about in abundance, but the more that I thought about it the less I cared, as it just took the curiosity of children off my list of problems.

The rat already asked more than enough the last he visited.

Walking past the door to the nurse's office, I could smell the strong scent of iron wafting from the cracks; I wasn't noisy, so I ignored it and continued following Miriko, filing the detail back for later.

I wasn't curious now, but I probably would be later.

I was ringed from my thought by the hero forcefully pushing the door to the principal's office open, leaving the door slightly splintered and almost cracked in half; something Miriko pointedly ignored in favor of walking in and immediately rummaging around in a cabinet or two.

It was honestly an impressive sight, as it took some guts to fuck around with Principal's Nezus shit like you owned it.

Before I could speak, a small pitter-patter of footsteps made itself known behind us.

We both turned, with Miriko moving to the center of the office so she could peer out the door as well.

Not far from where we were was Nezu himself, a small smile dressing his furry face. His hands were set behind his back, likely combed together to keep them in place. He was always one for looking overly presentable in any given situation, something I couldn't help but admire.

Miriko, for her part, was wearing a simple yet broad-looking expression, her face adorned with a small scowl that showed her dissatisfaction at seeing the small principal.

Another tale to discover for another time I supposed.

Sighing, I waved, "Nezu, it's been a while."

Nezu's face stayed the same, but I could see the glint in his beady eyes shift ever so slightly.

"Indeed Null, I was starting to wonder if you had forgotten me," he spoke while feigning mock hurt.

'Hard to do so when you're a frequent client,' was left unsaid, but I could tell Nezu heard it loud and clear.

Walking past me, the rodent ignored the tossed-around papers and broken door in favor of being a good host; though he did give a small pause when he was next to the rabbit hero, seemingly checking for injury and the sorts after he satisfied his worry, he continued to his desk before pulling out a tea kettle and a trio of glass antic cups.

Grabbing two chairs, I silently brought them up to his desk and sat them down, gesturing for the hero to sit; something she did with great strain.

After seating myself, I watched as he began to make the kettle boil magically. It was times like this that made me wonder if he had more quirks than he was letting on to; ignoring that for now, I let him finish pouring tea before speaking.

"So, before we get into anything revolving around today's issues, you mind telling me why it took this madam next to me to find out UA had an armory"

I could hear some slight choking next to me, likely the hero choking on the tea Nezu provided; why? I'd pretend I didn't know for both mine and her sake.

The Principal smiled before taking a sip of his own tea, "And do tell me, what might you have done if I had told you back when we first met?"

Without hesitation, I answered back, "Take it."

This cited a reaction from Rumi, mainly more choking, but one nonetheless.

The rodent on the other hand just chuckled, before continuing, "With my reason spoken, I'd say it's time we move on yes?"

He made it sound like it was an option, but I knew better, and options were never in Nezu's vast deck of cards.

Sighing, I spoke out, "Yes, I suppose we should move on to more important matters; but I'll let you pick which one we start with.

Nezu seemed delighted to hear me say that; almost enough to make me wish I hadn't.

"Right then!" He said with far too much joy in his voice, "Why not start with the feisty pup sitting next to you."

Tilting my head in slight confusion, I voiced my curiosity, "Feisty pu-" I didn't get to finish as I felt a very powerful fist make contact with my cheek, leaving my body to carry me into a lucky blank wall not about five feet to my left.

This left me slightly dazed while I watched the now very red hero shouting at the principal; but that didn't seem to bother said principal, as he merely looked my way and spoke surprisingly clear words.

 "See, very feisty."

Seemingly immune to anything the hero could do, she turned to me and threw her cup in frustration.

Using one of my quirks, I caught the cup with the same green glow from earlier before getting up and making my way back over to my chair.

I couldn't help the sigh that escaped me; why me?

Endeavor/Enji

Sighing, I walked up to the gate leading into my home's front yard, its rusty exterior doing well in telling how old it was.

Pushing the thing open, I made my way up to the front door before unlocking it, my keys jingling as I twisted the lock; soon I was inside, the interior far darker than it should have been, but maybe that was just my perception, as sleep had evaded me for the past few days thanks to the Miriko case.

Sighing, I set my bag down on the floor next to the couch before making my way down the empty hall, my unlit form passing the many empty rooms long since vacant; that was until I passed a specific room that was decorated with a Tv, some consoles, a large bed decked with unruly blankets and pillows, and far too many stickers of carrots decorating the wall; the dream room for one rabbit-eared daughter, or at least thats what she liked to say.

Continuing, I eventually found myself in my office, a place I'd often go when I needed to think; I came here when Rei took the kids, and now I'm here to think on the case, something I would do for the next few hours until eventually being pulled out by the distant ring of my phone, its form having been forgotten in the living room.

Tempted to ignore the thing, I was eventually forced to see reason and made my way back to the living room, a deep frown painting my face.

"Nezu?" I questioned no one in particular.

Picking up, I was immediately greeted by the voice of my old principal, his quirk becoming more and more muddled each time I spoke with him; it was like the rat didn't age.

"Enji! How's my favorite flamethrower doing?"

Ignoring the jab, I spoke, "As good as one could be when looking for his missing daughter, why?"

Nezu continued without pause, "Yes, the case with the feisty one."

Sighing, I rubbed my temples, "Yes Nezu, the feisty one."

Nezu chuckled at my dismay, much to my further dismay.

"Anyway," he pushed, "There's someone I'd like you t-" he didn't get to finish.

 "Hi, Pops!"

My eyes all but shot open as I recognized the voice.

"Rumi!" I shouted in both joy and relief.

"That's my name," she spoke again.

Ignoring that, I rushed to the door, keys in hand, "UA right," I almost yelled into the phone.

Nezu's chirp was all I heard, and all I needed to hear as I ran out the gate and across the gravel driveway.

Nearly ripping the garage door off, I spoke again, "Rumi I swear to god, you even so much as take a step out of that school and I'm going to delete your Pokemon save." I could hear the shiver and a laugh of someone new on the other side.

I knew my threat was taken to heart when she spoke again, "Dad, that's nothing to joke about you old man!"

"That's because it isn't a joke," I said, trying to make my words sound as threatening as possible.

"Fine! Fine! You stupid old man! I won't leave, just please leave my save alone; I just got Rayquaza!" This was the last thing she said before she presumably hung up.

I honestly didn't care what a Rayquaza was, as this particular threat was to just get her to sit still until I got there.

Walking over I got on the fastest bike I owned, the Kawasaki Ninja H2R, A bike slated to be able to go 250mph; it was a gift from I-Island thanks to his contribution Financially, it was modified to match his size, and stature as well, so it didn't look comically small when he drove it.

Without much more thought, He launched out of the garage and down the evening road, the gravel slowly turning to asphalt; it was safe to say it wouldn't be long until he got that, whether the police liked it or not.

To him at the current moment, the speed limit was just a suggestion.

Overhaul/Chisaki

"Sir, there's a problem."

Sighing, I turned from the computer, leaving the multitude of tabs open, each serving it's own purpose in helping me track down the now-named 'Contractor'; an odd yet fitting name.

So far, I've managed to gather quite a few possible locations he'd be most likely to visit; all thanks to the car he drives around being spotted on multiple occasions.

 "Sir?"

I was pulled from my thoughts by the man's repeated call.

 "What?" I replied.

The man looked nervous, but spoke anyway, "There's been an issue regarding the last order you gave us."

"Issue? Why would there be an Issue? You only needed to buy toys, there should be no issues," I said while doing my best to keep myself calm; something I found myself doing a lot lately.

Sighing in frustration, I waved for him to continue; which he did without further notice.

"Sir, I believe we've caught some hero's attention."

This time I groaned; Hero's, it was always those stupid fucking heroes.

Even before the old boss died, the heroes hounded him like it was their life's mission, and now that the old man was dead it was my turn to be harassed; well I think fucking not, I'm not in the mood to put up with their bullshit.

 "Where?" I questioned.

The man was quick to answer, "About three miles out, they seem to be keeping their distance for the time being, but we've noticed them moving ever so slightly closer with each day."

Hearing the man's deduction, I got up from my chair and made my way over to the door, the man following close behind.

After making it to a hallway that diverged into multiple different hallways, I sent him down the hall that led toward the meeting room, where I suspected most of the other members were.

I for my part walked down the hall that led to the sleeping quarters of just about everyone in the compound; after crossing what felt like hundreds of other doors, I took a few more turns before finding myself in a hallway with a lone door at the end, a room which me and Eri slept in.

Walking up, I pulled the door open to peek inside, and almost immediately my golden eyes met with a pair of ruby-red eyes peeking out from under a large number of blankets, something I'd noted to clean later before the girl went to bed.

Pushing the door open further, I watched with a masked smile as she hastily unburied herself from the mound of cloth she had built up before running over to me, a small almost lost hug finding its place on my leg when she made it over.

Chuckling, I knelt down and moved her messy hair away from the corners of her eyes.

She looked to find the action embarrassing as she buried her head into my leg, a small hum of annoyance letting itself be known.

"Still not comfortable with the base?" I questioned her.

She shook her in response, preferring to stay silent.

Chuckling again, I continued, "You'll get used to it in due time, for now, why don't we get you use to the members; think you can manage that?"

There was a short pause before she silently nodded.

Grinning an invisible grin, I stood back up and offered my hand, something she took without cation.

Patting her on the head, I followed her pace while gently tugging her in the way we needed to go, and this eventually led us to the meeting room, where everyone currently gathered were in groups talking about various things I cared little for.

After sitting down, I gestured for one of the men who was paying attention to bring me a smaller pillow for Eri to sit on; something that was done with great haste.

After Eri was seated, I clapped my hands a few times to gather everyone's attention, and from there, the meeting started.

Unknown

Pulling my damaged blade from yet another corpse, this one a hero, I groaned; my bones ached and I was sure I could feel one of my ribs poking through my skin, but nonetheless, it felt satisfying watching that disgust people called a hero loss that light in his eyes.

Just one of many that needed to be purged from society.
