Chapter 10: Ken's Secret Identity
In this world, governments of various countries treat quirks very strictly.
Using a quirk without a quirk license is like driving without a license except the punishment is much more severe.
But this license is like a gun license, ordinary people can only look at it and basically don't have a chance to get it.
After all, there are only a few people with a quirk license.
At this time, what should people who want to use quirk do if they don't have a license but don't want to violate the law?
As a result, alternative permits came into being.
The venue quirk use permit, allows people to use their quirks in a certain location.
This is why the students of UA High School can use their quirk freely in the school.
The same is true for this quirk arena.
They have applied for the venue quirk permit through various channels so people can use their quirks freely on this site.
But with the passage of time, more and more quirk arenas, mixed with gambling and blood, gradually emerged and developed into a carnival feast under the acquiescence of the government.
They would not admit it but these quirk arenas were basically an Alternative Colosseum.
The atmosphere in the venue was very strong.
The host held a microphone and gave a passionate speech in the center of the stage.
"Mad Bull has won six games and won the Million bonus. Tonight, should he challenge the seventh game?"
There was a hint of bewitchment in his voice, which made countless people in the audience scream.
"Seventh game, seventh game."
Gradually, it turned into a uniform shout.
"Okay, game seven." Mad Bull cracked the corners of his mouth, raised his fist and responded loudly.
At this moment, a security guard suddenly rushed onto the stage, ran to the host and whispered a few words.
The host's face changed slightly, and he let out a sulky breath.
He said loudly into the microphone, "Excuse me, I'm sorry. I interrupted the enthusiastic interaction between Mad Bull and the audience, but I have something to announce now."
"Everyone knows that our arena has some legends, and there are even rumors that their strength is comparable to professional heroes, right?"
"Haha, yes, yes!" Many viewers laughed.
Professional Heroes are not comparable to those who come out of the arena, but they still responded enthusiastically.
Listening to the many whistles from the audience, the host did not change his face and continued, "Tonight, in our arena, there is a legend who will battle Mad Bull under the arrangement of the organizer. So..."
The host opened his hands and said in a loud voice with a touch of enthusiasm, "Cheers!"
Suddenly, the atmosphere of the venue was completely ignited, and countless spectators even stood up, looking for a legend.
"There are nine legends here, each named after a serial number. I wonder which one it is."
"I hope it is number one. The man called the lion has never been defeated. He is manly and powerful."
"I hope it's number six. He can control metals and he is super powerful. I really want to see him fight."
"Number four is okay. She is a beautiful girl, cat lady."
In a very luxurious lounge
"Tell him to hurry up. He is just wasting time by blabbering until now." Ken frowned, and muttered.
He walked out slowly in the lane arranged by a group of black clothed guards.
"Wow, it's number seven, it's number seven, another legend that has always won and is undefeated."
"The most mysterious legend. He's a faceless, and scary guy. No one even knows about his Quirk."
"I would rather Mad Bull fight number one than number seven. The unknown is the most terrifying."
Looking at the black-robed figure who suddenly walked onto the stage, an uproar broke out in the audience.
Stepping onto the stage, Ken's impetuosity calmed down for a few minutes.
He was a person who liked to fight. Otherwise, he would not always sneak out ever since he opened the cellar and find a place like this.
Fortunately, he found this place, and even became number seven inadvertently.
This was a memorable place. Smelling the blood on the stage and feeling the atmosphere that was similar to the ancient Roman Colosseum, Ken became more and more excited.
Ken filtered thousands of voices, and only faintly heard 'Begin', and he rushed out.
"No. 7, even if you are a legend, you still have to get down." As if to psyche himself up, Mad Bull suddenly yelled and rushed over with his horns.
Boom!
At the moment when the two met, Ken's face under the black robe changed slightly.
Mad Bull possesssed terrifying strength, at least B-level which far surpassed his E-level strength.
When he touched Mad Bull, Ken felt like he had hit a train and he was pushed back by Mad Bull.
"Haha, this is a legend!" With a mockery of disdain, a hint of surprise appeared on Mad Bull's face, and he pushed even harder.
In the distance, a new-looking security guard muttered, "He was forced to retreat by Mad Bull. How could this guy become number seven?"
"Shut your mouth! No.7 has always been bad at strength, so next watch carefully." Another security guard next to him exclaimed.
He turned around and looked at the increasingly excited Mad Bull, and prayed for him silently in his heart.
