Just when Kyoko was worried about Akira, an unexpected scene unfolded before her eyes.

Tada, with all his arrogance, was sent flying. His massive body tumbled across the ground, eventually coming to a stop in a cloud of dust. When he stood again, his appearance was pitiful—clothes torn, blood trickling from his lips, and his eyes betraying fear.

Akira, on the other hand, calmly approached him, his expression unreadable.

Tada's confidence crumbled as he realized this wasn't the same Akira he used to torment. Fear tightened his chest with every one of Akira's measured steps.

"Tap. Tap. Tap."

The steady sound of Akira's footsteps seemed deafening to Tada, each one pulling him further into despair.

Finally, Tada's courage shattered. He stumbled backward, panic surging through him.

"Don't… don't come any closer!" Tada shouted, his voice trembling.

He turned on his heel and tried to run, but Akira's speed was overwhelming. With a swish, Akira appeared right in front of him.

"Boom!"

A sharp slap to Tada's face sent him flying into a nearby wall. The impact shattered the structure, causing a cloud of debris to rise. Blood gushed from Tada's mouth as he struggled to stand.

"You have one last chance," Akira said coldly, his eyes locking onto Tada's.

Tada scrambled to his feet and launched himself out of the debris, only to drop to his knees.

"I was wrong! Akira, I was wrong! Please, for the sake of our past as classmates, forgive me!" Tada begged, repeatedly banging his head on the ground. Blood smeared the floor where he knelt.

"Classmates?" Akira chuckled darkly. "Don't insult me. I was never your classmate—not then, not now."

Tada froze, his body trembling uncontrollably. He rolled onto the ground, crawling toward Akira's feet in desperation.

Before he could grab Akira's leg, Akira barked, "Stay away. Don't dirty my clothes."

Tada's movement halted, his expression blank and defeated.

At that moment, Sato, Kyoko stepped forward, placing a gentle hand on Akira's arm. "That's enough, Akira. He's pitiful as it is."

Akira hesitated before nodding. "Tada, I'm in a good mood today, so I'll let you off. But next time…" Akira's voice dropped dangerously low, "…there won't be a next time."

"I understand! I understand!" Tada stammered, bowing as he stumbled to his feet. He darted away, his figure vanishing into the distance.

Akira turned toward the ruined wall, frowning. "Great. Now I need a story to explain this to Grandpa."

Sato, Kyoko laughed softly. "You've grown so strong, Akira. I never imagined you'd become like this."

"If you trained seriously, you'd surpass me in no time," Akira replied with a faint smile.

"Don't try to convince me," Kyoko teased. "Now, come on! I still have somewhere special to take you."

With a last glance at the crumbled bricks, Akira nodded. "Alright, let's go."

The Shadow of Revenge

Tada staggered into his family's villa, his body battered and bruised. He quickly retrieved a vial of medicine from a drawer, drinking it in one gulp. The sharp taste was nothing compared to the dull ache that coursed through his body.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

A knock came from the door. Tada flinched and froze.

"Who is it?"

"It's me, Master Tada. The boss requests your presence," a voice replied.

Tada's heart sank. "What does my father want?"

"It's about the exam," the butler explained.

Relieved it wasn't about his earlier encounter, Tada took a deep breath and prepared himself. "Just admit you failed the exam. That's all."

However, doubt gnawed at his mind. His mother's Quirk—memory peeking—was his greatest fear. Though she could only glimpse recent memories, it was enough to expose him.

Steeling himself, Tada entered the hall where his parents waited with cold, unreadable expressions.

"Mom. Dad. I… I've failed Shijie High School. I've let you down," Tada admitted quickly, bowing deeply.

"What happened to your forehead?" his father asked sharply.

"I… I accidentally hit the wall," Tada mumbled.

The butler interrupted, "But Master Tada returned injured after going out."

Tada's mother narrowed her eyes. "Tada, did you go to that old man's house?"

"No… no!"

Her expression darkened. "You know better than to lie. If you force me to use my Quirk, you'll regret it."

Tada's resolve crumbled. With a groan, he dropped to his knees.

"I'm sorry! I shouldn't have gone there!"

Placing her hand on his head, his mother activated her Quirk. Tada screamed, his memories exposed.

"Akira Kitagawa… How dare he!" she spat, her eyes flashing with fury.

"What happened?" his father demanded.

She quickly explained the situation. His father's face turned red with rage.

"Useless brat! You've brought nothing but shame to this family!"

Tada cowered. "Please, Dad, don't punish me!"

His mother cut in coldly. "Now isn't the time for family discipline. That boy—Akira—must pay. Today."

The room fell silent, their collective hatred sharpening like a blade.
