Chapter 31: Chapter 29 Ishimura Is Back

All the candidates in Practice Venue B followed Present·Mic's instructions to the letter.

When they saw the 0-point imaginary enemy, their unanimous decision was to avoid it at all costs.

For most of them, risking injury or failure over a zero-point target was simply not worth it. Smart candidates knew better than to waste time on something that wouldn't benefit their score.

Akira smiled. "Sounds like you guys had it easy over there."

If Akira were to tell Midoriya Izuku about the state of Practice Venue A—reduced to a chaotic ruin—Midoriya would undoubtedly be left in disbelief.

"Yeah, I guess we got lucky!" Midoriya nodded earnestly.

A year had passed since Akira transmigrated into this world, and the details of *My Hero Academia's* original story were becoming increasingly blurry to him.

One event he did remember vividly, though, was All Might's eventual death. However, he couldn't help but wonder if his presence would cause a ripple effect, altering the future entirely.

**Backstage at the Exercise Venue**

"The 0-point imaginary enemy can no longer be recovered," Aizawa Shouta announced as he walked into the control room, addressing the principal seated at the desk.

The principal looked up, startled. "What? Why can't it be salvaged? Is it completely destroyed?"

Aizawa shook his head. "No, it's not that. It's because we don't know how deep it's buried. We've already scanned 10 meters below the surface of that vortex Akira created, but there's no trace of the robot."

"Was this all his doing?" the principal asked, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.

Aizawa nodded. "Yes, all of it."

The principal sighed, leaning back in his chair. "If it's beyond recovery, then so be it. Consider it a failure on our part. Perhaps being buried underground is its rightful fate."

Aizawa smirked faintly. For the first time in a long while, someone had caught his attention. At least now, things wouldn't be so boring.

**Returning Home**

After completing the necessary formalities, Akira returned home to wait for his results.

Although he already knew he had passed the entrance exam, he still had to endure the formal waiting period as the school processed the paperwork.

When Akira stepped inside, he was surprised to find both his parents at home.

Changing his shoes at the door, he walked into the living room.

"Mom, Dad, aren't you supposed to be at work?" Akira asked, noting the solemn expressions on their faces.

His mother spoke first, cutting straight to the point. "How did it go? You didn't fail, did you?"

"Don't worry. I passed. Getting into U.A. won't be a problem," Akira replied with confidence.

Hearing his response, their tense expressions relaxed.

"Good. At least you didn't embarrass us," his mother said, smiling faintly.

His father, Kitagawa Yuta, nodded approvingly before speaking. "To celebrate your success in getting into U.A., we've decided to take you to visit your grandfather for a few days."

"Grandpa?" Akira blinked in surprise. His grandfather lived in a small town called Haiyuan, about 400 kilometers away.

Akira had spent his early childhood there before moving to the city for middle school. It had been nearly three years since his last visit.

"Are you both taking time off work for this?" Akira asked curiously.

His father nodded. "We arranged it ahead of time. Your grandfather, Miyagawa Kamimoto, was thrilled to hear about your acceptance into U.A. He wants to celebrate with you."

Akira quickly realized why his parents had looked so serious earlier. If he had failed the exam, their carefully planned celebration would have been wasted, and they would have had plenty to nag him about.

"Alright, I guess it's a good chance to relax," Akira agreed with a smile.

"Good! Go pack your things. We're leaving soon," Yuta said briskly.

"So soon?"

"Yes. Hurry up."

"Okay, okay."

**Meanwhile, in a Dark Room**

In a dimly lit rental house, the screen of a phone suddenly illuminated the darkness, vibrating noisily.

A hand emerged from the shadows, picking up the phone.

"Hello," a low voice answered.

From the other end of the line came a familiar voice. "Brother, it's me—Shun Ishimura."

"Ishimura? You're back?"

"Yes. After a year of training, I've made great progress. It's time to settle some scores," Ishimura said, his voice carrying a sharp edge.

"You mean… Bakugo Katsuki?"

"Exactly. That brat is just the appetizer. My real target is the Miyagawa Agency," Ishimura declared.

The man on the other end paused. "After you left, Bakugo Katsuki actually made the news. If it weren't for All Might, he would've been killed by a sludge villain."

"Is that so?" Ishimura chuckled darkly. "But that fool can only die by my hands. Brother, are we expanding our operations here?"

The man's tone turned bitter. "No. After you left, I tried expanding, but one of my so-called allies betrayed me to the professional heroes. I barely escaped with my life. Since then, I've been laying low and training."

"Damn those professional heroes!" Ishimura snarled. "One day, I'll make them all pay."

The man laughed bitterly. "I'll admit, they're powerful. But among them, All Might is the only one who truly deserves the title of Hero."

For a moment, Ishimura fell silent before nodding in agreement. "You're right, brother. All Might is the real deal. By the way, where are you now? I'll come to you."

After getting the address, Ishimura hung up.

**Haiyuan Town**

By dusk, Akira and his family arrived at Haiyuan Town, where his grandfather lived.

As Akira stepped out of the car, memories of his childhood flooded back. Despite the long journey, he felt a sense of warmth and familiarity returning to this small, peaceful town.
