Chapter 104: Kirishima x Mina (Fluff)

The Tokyo skyline blurred into a vibrant, neon smear as Kirishima gripped the steering wheel, a goofy grin plastered on his face. Beside him, Mina bounced in her seat, humming along to the music blasting from the car speakers. It was Valentine's Day, and after weeks of meticulous planning, he'd finally pulled off the surprise.

"You still can't believe it, huh?" Kirishima chuckled, glancing over at her. Her pink hair was a wild cloud, and her eyes, usually sparkling with mischief, were now wide with pure, unadulterated joy.

"Kiri! I've literally dreamed of seeing 'Midnight Muse' live! And you, the most stubborn, reliable, rock-solid boyfriend ever, somehow managed to get us tickets? How?" she squealed, reaching over to squeeze his arm.

"Let's just say I know a guy who knows a guy who pulls some strings," Kirishima said with a wink, "But the important thing is, we're here!"

The concert had been everything Mina had ever hoped for, and more. The energy of the crowd, the electrifying performance of their favorite band, the shared glances and stolen kisses in the dimly lit venue - it was a sensory overload in the best possible way. Now, hours later, they were driving back to Kirishima's small, slightly cluttered college apartment, the echoes of the music still vibrating in their bones.

The moment they stepped inside, a wave of warmth greeted them. The soft glow of fairy lights criss-crossed the living room, and the inviting aroma of something savory hung in the air.

"Okay, you really outdid yourself tonight, Kiri," Mina said, her voice laced with affection. "I thought the concert was the main event, but I'm starting to think this is another surprise!"

Kirishima beamed, leading her to the small dining table he'd set up for two. A checkered tablecloth, a flickering candle in the center, and two plates piled high with chicken katsu curry – a dish he knew she loved – greeted them. "No special occasion for such amazing food," he said, scratching the back of his neck, "Besides... it looked really easy to make, you know?".

Mina giggled, a sound that always made his heart do a little flip. They ate in comfortable silence, occasionally sharing knowing glances across the table, the easy companionship of a couple who knew each other deeply settling around them.

After dinner, Kirishima stood and with a flourish, pulled a small platter from the counter. Resting upon it were glistening chocolate covered strawberries, their rich, dark coating contrasting with the vibrant red of the fruit.

Mina gasped, her blush deepening. "Kiri, you're too much!" she said, her eyes sparkling brighter than the fairy lights.

Kirishima, feeling a warmth inside that rivaled the heat of the curry, took one of the strawberries and offered it to her. She took a bite, the juice dribbling slightly down her chin, and her eyes closed in bliss.

"These are... divine," she murmured, her gaze meeting his. "Thank you, Kirishima. For everything. This has been the most perfect Valentine's Day."

He reached out, gently brushing a stray strand of hair from her face. "Mina, spending it with you makes it perfect." He took one of the strawberries himself. "It doesn't matter if we're at a concert in Tokyo or in my cramped apartment, as long as I'm with you."

He could feel the blush creeping up his neck, but he didn't care. The love that emanated from her eyes was enough to light up the entire city. He leaned in, his lips meeting hers in a soft, sweet kiss that tasted of chocolate and happiness. It was a kiss that promised many more years of shared adventures, goofy grins, and quiet, intimate moments like these.

As they settled onto the couch later, wrapped in a blanket, Mina gently leaned her head on Kirishima's shoulder. The faint scent of chocolate and strawberries lingered in the air, and the echoes of 'Midnight Muse' still vibrated gently in their hearts. This Valentine's Day wasn't just about amazing music or a surprise dinner. It was about the love they shared, the kind that was genuine, steadfast, and growing stronger with each passing moment, as sweet and satisfying as chocolate-covered strawberries on a perfect night.
