The door opened quickly, and Wu Qingshuang appeared at the doorway.

"Qing Shuang, go keep Yu Wan company," Jiang Chen said, his eyes deep with meaning.

Wu Qingshuang was momentarily startled, then she understood, nodded gently, and turned to walk toward the room next door.

Jiang Chen and Elder Ming stepped into the room.

"Head of the Jiang Family!"

In the living room of the chamber, Wang Jiancheng and Ya Si stood up to greet Jiang Chen as they saw him.

Jiang Chen glanced over, his eyes narrowing slightly.

Behind Ya Si stood two middle-aged men in black suits, both of whom possessed the strength of the Innate Peak, while Ya Si himself was a Peak Semi Venerable Venerable.

Ya Si was also sizing up Jiang Chen, and when he saw Elder Ming, a look of puzzlement flashed in his eyes. Was this man Jiang Chen's butler?

"What brings you two to me today?" Jiang Chen asked softly, sitting opposite Ya Si and his companion, with Elder Ming naturally taking his place behind him.

"Mr. Jiang, I would like to apologize to you regarding the matter with Wanguo Bank,"

Wang Jiancheng organized his thoughts before speaking softly, "I had no idea that Wang Lijiang would be so discourteous. Our Fukang Group signed a contract with him, but it expires at the end of the month."

After a pause, Wang Jiancheng said meaningfully, "I think I should switch to a different partner. Would Mr. Jiang happen to have any recommendations?"

"A candidate? We are from the Flame Dragon Kingdom and naturally should sign with the most influential person in the Flame Dragon Kingdom."

Jiang Chen knew exactly what Wang Jiancheng was hinting at. He chuckled and said, "I just signed a contract with Director Zhu Zhengkun. Perhaps Director Wang should consider talking to him as well."

"Good, Director Zhu can't have gone far, right? I'll go talk to him!" Wang Jiancheng breathed a sigh of relief, understanding that today's incident was now behind him. He glanced at Ya Si, stood up, and took his leave.

Jiang Chen was slightly taken aback, giving Ya Si a surprised look. He had thought the two men had come together and should be leaving together; unexpectedly, that was not the case.

He sighed in relief internally. If the Fukang Group, one of the six major financial consortiums along the river, had already been controlled by the Dark Church, that would have been troublesome!

The intent behind Wang Jiancheng's departure was also to distance himself from Ya Si. After seeing Wang Jiancheng off, Jiang Chen turned his gaze to Ya Si, his eyes filled with inquiry.

"Mr. Jiang, I came to talk about a potential partnership," Ya Si said with a light laugh.

Jiang Chen raised an eyebrow, showing a hint of interest, "Mr. Ya Si, what kind of partnership would you like to discuss?"

"Our Fulang Family has always been devoted to the overseas trade industry, but we have yet to break into the Flame Dragon Kingdom market. Does Mr. Jiang have any way to help?" Ya Si asked softly.

Jiang Chen smiled faintly, "Yi Chen Group also engages in the overseas trade industry, but currently, we only deal internally with Jiuzhou Group, and we haven't considered collaborating with other companies yet!"

"Are you really not planning to collaborate with me? Yet somehow I heard from Wu Yati that you wanted to work with me," Ya Si said, his eyes meaningful as he looked at Jiang Chen.

Jiang Chen's eyes narrowed slightly as he spoke indifferently, "Wu Yati says I want to collaborate with you? Ha! Does he get to decide whom I collaborate with?"
