Chapter 130: Stuck With Kiara (II)
"And who is the laughing clown?"
The question rang out through the dark hall, all eyes turning to Everlearn, whose laughing paused.
Kiara pointed at him, introducing,
"His name is Everlearn. The one..."
She was still saying when the air around her hair suddenly rustled.
She turned to look, and Everlearn was no more.
"What the!?"
BAAAAAAAANG!
A mini-explosion occurred through the hall, shockwaves rippling through the air.
Kiara's eyes were wide open, looking at the source, and her breath paused.
Right at the centre of the hall stood Everlearn, beneath him the same dude who had just called him a clown.
His legs stepped right atop his head, pinning him into the crater on the ground.
"I can agree to be called a bastard, or a fool, or an idiot, or a lecherous piece of shit," Everlearn said quietly, though his words very well echoed due to the silence.
"But anything with clowns, I consider degrading. Call me that next time, and I assure you those will be your last words."
The words echoed calmly, without the faintest bit of anger, yet heartbeats spiralled out of their control upon hearing them.
Faraq felt insulted, unable to come to terms with him lying on the ground with a leg over him, yet when his eyes faintly crossed those blue eyes, his bones froze beneath his skin.
Those beautiful things screamed of murder.
Like a chained, murderous beast just waiting to be unleashed.
With his point clear, Everlearn took his leg off, turning to look at Kiara.
"And who exactly did we come to fight?" he asked, watching her eyes unconsciously trail down to his feet, where Faraq still lay.
She stepped forward in that moment, staring down at the now sitting Faraq.
"You lost," she said, and crippling silence reigned in the room.
"I'll be expecting the points and video of your apology to the Endknot Cult."
She said, signalling to Everlearn for them to leave, but they had yet to reach the exit, when the door automatically shut with a loud,
BAAAANG!
"Hahahahahahaha!"
Boisterous laughter escaped the lips of Faraq, who rose to his feet, wiping off blood on his nose.
"Can you believe it, guys?" he asked, turning to the dozens of dudes in the room who were slowly rising to their feet.
"The notorious Kiara really expects us Recklessars to fight fair."
Everlearn and Kiara were surrounded by them, and they all quickly began glowing with light, shifting into their Mech Module forms.
"Hey, kid," Faraq called out as Everlearn turned him a side-eye.
"You'll have no greater regret in your life than what you just did now. I swear it on my life."
His words made Everlearn's normal expression subtly widen into a feral grin.
"Beautiful choice of words."
"If I knew you would fight fair. I myself alone I'm enough, stupid," Kiara said, and taking off the cap of her hoodie, her crimson eyes now glowing so much they formed two rays of light that pierced forward, painting the room in a crimson colour.
Her hands shifted in the next moment, skin retreating to form a Nanotech hand covered in these large fist gauntlets, which she slammed into each other, making an ear-shredding—
BAAAANG!
BAAAANG!
She turned to Everlearn right after.
"Everything is allowed..."
"Fr? Even an eye poke?"
"Yes. Even a ball kick!" she replied, and he grinned evilly.
"DESTROY THEM!"
Faraq barked out, and in the next moment, all hell broke loose.
Everlearn took a step backward, and he faded out of thin air, while Kiara took steps forward towards the closest one to her.
It was a dude, holding a bat covered in crimson energy that made the air around it quiver as if set on fire.
Running towards her, he swung it forward overhead, but it missed Kiara, who dodged down before she slammed out with an uppercut.
It smashed right through the guy's face, sending him flying straight into the ceiling, and his neck hung inside, legs dangling in the air.
The bat he held fell off, landing right into Kiara's hands, and she swung it downward with force towards a student approaching from the side.
It smashed right on the guy's head, sending him flying face-first into the ground.
His bum pushed out into the air, and he remained motionless, obviously having the lights in his brain knocked out of him.
The bat flung into the air from the force, and Kiara kicked at it, sending it flying towards another one of them.
It slammed straight through the guy's nose, sending him taking steps backward as he collapsed to a knee, blood rushing out from his nose.
For the next few seconds,
BAAAAANG!
CRAAAACKK!
BAAAAANG!
CRAAAACKK!
BAAAAANG!
All that could be heard was the incessant sound of things being smashed into pieces and bones being cracked.
_____________
"Where... where is he!?"
In the far end of the hall, a couple of dudes lay huddled around, their eyes flashing here and there, trying to keep up with a black blur that flashed through the room with incredible speed.
One moment, he was on the ceiling, the next something had flashed past them.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
One of them was suddenly sent flying, a punch slamming into his nose and blowing him through the far wall on the other side.
"OPEN FIREEEE!"
One of them screamed out in horror as they fired plasma after plasma.
Many of the students immediately dodged to the ground to avoid the firing, with Kiara shielding herself by placing her gauntlet hands before her, the bullets bouncing off them.
Yet through the cracks of her arms, she was able to witness a blur of darkness flash back here and there, sending each of the students collapsing to the ground.
"He's insanely fast!"
She mused under her breath, noticing even her eyes were struggling to keep up.
CLICK!
CLICK!
"DAMN IT."
Faraq cursed as he pulled the trigger of his bullet, but nothing came out.
He had run out, quickly throwing the bullet off, his hands reached for his pockets, only to be grabbed by a hand behind.
VROOOOM!
The air flapped as he instinctively swung his hands behind him, but Everlearn dodged it, slamming his head right into his nose.
He tumbled a couple of steps backward but quickly grabbed his knife out of his pockets, rushing forward and piercing towards Everlearn, who faded into thin air.
"He's gone aga—"
The words were never completed when he felt a hand gently wrap around his jaw and head, and before he could react,
CRAAAACK!
The sound of bones cracking rang out as his head grossly tilted, instantly knocking the lights out of his eyes, and he dropped to the ground with a heavy thud.
Only two people remained standing at the end of it all.
