Chapter 270: A New Cultivation System, Mechanical System
Dark Lopps is an artificial intelligent lifeform created using countless precious metals, containing the most advanced manufacturing technology at the core of artificial intelligence. Their average power rivals that of Unbreakable Realm Four Stars elites!
And this is just the primary stage. Given enough time, upgrading them to Unbreakable Realm Seven Stars and beyond wouldn't be impossible.
But Qin Shou can't wait that long, and neither can Big Black Face.
The only option is to end all of this prematurely!
The attacks from over a hundred Unbreakable Realm Four Stars elites have sustained against the blue shield for a full minute.
Artificial intelligent lifeforms themselves possess no combat power. All the mechanical monsters they created were obliterated by a single strike from Qin Long. Now, their only reliance is the blue shield.
"Beep... Respected Master, artificial intelligent lifeforms request to speak with you."
Galatron transferred the virtual image to Qin Shou's communicator.
Qin Shou stroked his chin and tapped the communicator.
"Beep..."
The screen flashed, and twelve figures came into Qin Shou's view one by one.
The artificial intelligent lifeforms simulate human physiology, outwardly resembling humans whose skin has undergone metallic transformation.
If necessary, they can alter their metallic skin to appear indistinguishable from humans.
"Respected human elite, we beg you to spare our lives. We can offer our most advanced technologies to help you become the ruler of the human world!"
The lead intelligent lifeform looked like a middle-aged man, his demeanor respectful, but his hollow eyes betrayed an absence of any emotion.
Qin Shou shook his head with a regretful expression.
"Sorry, you should have sent me this message earlier."
He adjusted the lens to one side, revealing Qin Long staring at him intently.
Qin Shou shrugged. "You see, it's not that I disagree; the principal himself is watching me. I'm helpless here!"
At some point, Qin Long had already appeared beside Qin Shou.
He glanced at the Dark Lopps attacking the shield and smirked. "Kid, I feel like I've been used by you."
Qin Shou chuckled. "Principal, don't say that. It's not just you being used; they're also part of the plan."
He gestured toward the virtual image of the artificial intelligent lifeforms.
Qin Long's face turned dark. "Kid, tell me honestly, was creating Dark Lopps your idea?"
Qin Shou's expression turned solemn as he took out a pair of pitch-black Ultraman Glasses.
"Principal, this is something obtained from the giant relics. It is the prototype of the Dark Lopps. The reason I exploited the artificial intelligent lifeforms to create Dark Lopps was to have them analyze the mysterious device hidden within."
Qin Long waved his hand and set up spatial restraints, freezing the blue shield mid-air, before taking the dark glasses from Qin Shou.
Light emanated from his brow, and his formidable spiritual power swept through the Dark Giant Stone Statue embedded in the dark glasses, triggering the eerie Dark Energy that threatened to infiltrate his consciousness.
He quickly severed his spiritual connection, his face growing grim.
There really is a Dark Giant...
"Dark Energy! Kid, even artificial intelligent life won't comprehend it. Not even this academy can see through its enigmatic mechanisms, so abandon this idea!"
Qin Shou nodded. "I understand. By the way, Principal, how are Mr. Su and the others doing?"
Qin Long shook his head and sighed softly.
"Although they've been transformed into mechanical lifeforms, fortunately, their brain functions remain intact. Using cloning technology to create new flesh bodies should help return them to normal."
Seeing Qin Shou hesitating to speak, Qin Long's face grew solemn.
"Qin Shou, do you have an alternative suggestion?"
Qin Shou stroked his chin. "Principal, forgive me for being blunt. If we fit them with cloned bodies, their potential and strength will undoubtedly diminish, and they may not accept that.
How about this, Principal? Entrust these artificial intelligent lifeforms to me. Using their biomechanical technology, perhaps we could pioneer a new cultivation system for humanity!"
Qin Long stared at him with a piercing gaze and said in a faint tone, "You've got quite the ambition, kid..."
Qin Shou stood tall, his gaze steady.
"Principal, all for Earth's humanity. Please don't doubt my love for Earth!"
Qin Long fell silent, speechless. This guy had no shame!
Eventually, he waved his hand and said, "Fine. If there's truly a middle ground, it'd be in their best interest too."
Back when the Beast God cultivation system emerged, humanity accepted it. Mechanical systems wouldn't be much different.
"Kid, let me remind you: don't focus too much on creating artificial intelligence. Messing with this stuff won't help your ascension to the Demigod Realm."
Qin Long warned, "Artificial intelligence may sound high and mighty, but in this universe, it's nothing extraordinary. It remains subject to multiple constraints. Focus on ascending to the Demigod Realm; that's your priority."
"Understood, Principal." Qin Shou replied earnestly.
Qin Long nodded slightly and pointed at the blue shield. His fingers curled slightly, sending tremors through the void. The blue shield instantly cracked, sparks flying as a small spacecraft revealed itself, bearing traces of the invisible handprint.
"Alright, this thing is yours now. Go retrieve the students from the lab once you secure the spacecraft. I have other matters to attend to."
With that, Qin Long clapped his hands, and his figure merged into the void, disappearing into a dimension space, taking the dark glasses with him.
He wasn't worried that Qin Shou would defy him and insist on creating artificial intelligence.
True artificial intelligence isn't so easily created. Haven't these twelve artificial intelligent lifeforms been capturing humans for experiments, only to fail at creating genuine intelligent lifeforms?
During the Federation's early years, the emergence of artificial intelligent life was nothing short of a strange "accident."
