Two days later, Aruta is at school. Aruta is walking back to class because the break is almost over.

"Huff... Juriko is no longer here," Aruta muttered as he walk to his class.

Two days ago, he came home covered in wounds and staggering. When I asked, he said nothing happened. It was okay even though he was covered in wounds. But atleast he should have said that he was mugged by thugs or whatever. 

And yesterday he went to the Northern continent because he said he got a scholarship to study there. Well, I'm not as smart as him. I'm not even smart at all. I'm just some idiot person. Ugh he left me like an idiot like this. Damn you Juriko!!

"Damn it! And then he's traveling not only to move between cities or countries but also move between continents. I want it too. Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!" Aruta muttered while stomping his feet on the ground.

"Hey Aruta!" someone shouted. Aruta turn his head and see Vins who was with Uika. Vins and Uika approaching Aruta.

"I heard Juriko went to the Northern Continent," Vins asked.

"Yeah, he went to Norhtern Continent yesterday," Aruta replied.

"Hey-hey Aruta, have you heard about the kid in the other class who saw a ghost?" Uika asked.

"Uh... yeah," Aruta replied.

Lately, Aruta's high school has been experiencing strange events. There are kids who claim that the incense they bring for religious activities often disappear. There are also those who claim to have seen the benches in the classroom change position without anyone moving them.

There was even one student who tell a story. At that time, he was at school at night because of student council business. He was going to the bathroom but when he was walking in the school corridor, he see a girl with her back to him. The girl was wearing a neat and clean white dress. However, when the he approaching that girl, he was shocked when he saw the girl's feet pointing towards him. He was immediately scared and ran away from the corridor. Because he had to pee, well... he wet himself right then and there.

"Hmm, yeah, I've heard the story. Why?" Aruta asked.

"The two of us are going to this school tonight. Do you want to come?" Uika asked.

"What business do you have going to school at night?" Aruta asked back.

"Just walking around looking for strange things. We want to see it ourselves. Who knows, we might meet a ghost," Uika answered.

"Is that so? Uhh maybe no. Better go to sleep," Aruta said.

"Hey come on, join us," Vins said.

"Hey, I hate horror things. Don't force me like that," Aruta said and yawned afterwards.

"Huh? Are you even scared? From the way you talk, it seems the opposite," Vins said.

"Huff whatever. I want to sleep peacefully on my bed," Aruta said.

"Huff, fine then," Vins said.

"If you meet a ghost, beware of bad luck," Aruta said as he walked away from Vins and Uika. "That's it for now. I'm going to class first."

"Okay-okay," Vins answered. "Be careful!" Vins and Uika said before they both walked in the opposite direction.

Aruta continued walking towards his class. Aruta pass through the school hallway with bushes on the side. When Aruta pass through the hallway, Aruta felt a thin strange aura from the direction of the bushes in the hallway. Aruta didn't care at first, but when he continue walking straight in the hallway, there was a moment when Aruta clearly feel the strange aura right next to him.

Aruta was curious and check it out. Aruta feel something from the bushes in front of him and finally he see a strange stone. He take that stone out and the stone finally became clear. The stone give off a slight black aura. That stone was quite small, but it formed a perfect cube unlike most stones. It also had strange patterns on all six sides. This stone look like ancient stones in museums.

"What is this? Dice? But why does it have patterns? It's emitting a black aura again. Has someone cosplayed or something here?" Aruta muttered while looking at that stone.

"Uhh... whatever. Maybe I'll bring it for a moment." Aruta put the object in his pocket and go to his class. Aruta look at the clock in the hallway which showed five minutes to ten. "Damn I'm going to be late for the next class!" Aruta muttered in panic while sprinting toward his class.

While Aruta was running, he passed a student. That student immediately look at Aruta with a surprised. "Huh? This aura..." that student muttered. "Hey wait-" before that student even could finish his sentence, Aruta had disappeared because he was running very fast. "Hell nah, he's gone already. Ahh, never mind," the student muttered as he continued walking.

That student walked towards the bushes where Aruta had found the stone. That student kneel with one leg and feel around in the bushes as if looking for something. "Gone?" he muttered in panic. That student immediately took his cellphone and call someone.

"What's wrong, Mono?" asked the person on that student's phone.

"Sir, I can't find the item. I don't even feel its aura," Mono said in a serious tone.

"How is that possible? That thing is there," replied the person on the phone in a relaxed tone.

"But that thing isn't here," Mono said.

"It's there," said the person on the phone still in a relaxed tone.

"It isn't here," said Mono who was starting to get annoyed.

"It's there."

"It isn't I said!"

"Hmm lunch with ayam bakar (chicken grilled with charcoal while coated with spices) maybe sounds good."

"Hey, can you serious just for a second?"

"Find that thing or your salary will be cut this month."

Mono who was very annoyed lower his phone and said, "This person is annoying. He dropped it but I'm the one who asked him to look for it. He can only order people around. When he was a baby, instead of being breastfed, he was given coffee, I think."

Suddenly a voice was heard, "You haven't hung up the phone, Mono."

Mono's eyes immediately widened after hearing that voice. "Damn it..." Mono muttered.

Two hours later, the break bell rang. Aruta immediately head to the cafeteria for lunch. Upon arriving at the cafeteria, Aruta mret Vins and Uika.

"Hey Aruta. Do you want to have lunch? Let's eat together," Vins invited.

"Okay." Aruta, Vins, and Uika go to buy food first. But, when Aruta want to pay and get his money, he accidentally drop the stone he found earlier. Aruta immediately bent down and picked up the stone. Before putting it back in his pocket, Aruta had time to look at the stone first.

"Hmm, maybe I'll ask Vins and Uika later," Aruta muttered, putting the stone in his pocket.

After finishing their purchases, Aruta and the others head to one of the tables in the canteen. While they were enjoying their meal, Aruta start to take out the strange stone.

"Hey Vins, Uika," Aruta called as he took out the stone.

"Yo, what is it?" Vins and Uika asked at the same time.

"Do you guys know what this is?" Aruta asked as he showed the strange stone.

"Huh? Like a dice," Uika said.

"This stone also emits a black aura," Aruta said.

"Black aura? The stone doesn't emit anything," Vins said.

'Huh? Hey, this stone clearly emits a black aura. Uika, you see it, right?" Aruta said.

"No," Uika answered.

"That's why you shouldn't stay up too late playing games," Vins said.

Aruta immediately frowned because he clearly saw the stone emitting a black aura. But Vins and Uika didn't see it?

"But it looks like the stone is also good for a talisman. Can we borrow it?" Vins asked.

"Huh? But I feel like the opposite might happen," Aruta said.

"Hey, come on. "You know that amulets in horror movies always have weird shapes," Vins said.

"Come on, you're not joining us. At least you can lend us that stone," Uika said, holding her head with both hands on the table.

"Ugh okay-okay." Aruta gave the stone to Vins.

"The stone is cool too," Uika said.

"This stone seems like it could be a good amulet." Vins said.
