MARVEL'S MONSTER HUNTER WORLD

Chapter 22: END OF THE TERRORISTS AND FREEDOM FIGHTERS

The desert sands swirled, as if controlled by an unseen force. The sky darkened, and a fierce gust of wind howled through the air. It seemed as though a storm was brewing, one that would bring the mighty Thor down from the heavens.

A man peered through his telescope, scanning the horizon. "How far are we from Base No. 4? Have we established contact?"

"Head, we're about 4 kilometers away," his comrade replied. "But there's been no word from Base No. 4. It's possible they've fallen."

"If we increase speed, the sandstorm will catch up to us soon," the leader warned. "But with our strength, as long as it's not a full-scale army, we'll be unstoppable!"

Boom! Boom! The roar of engines echoed through the sky as two British Challenger 1 tanks led the charge. Six armed jeeps, equipped with heavy machine guns, flanked them in two columns. Two old armored personnel carriers, carrying 20-caliber machine guns, followed closely behind. Six troop transport trucks brought up the rear, with a British Challenger 1 tank guarding the back.

Watson watched the scene unfold before him, a calculating glint in his eye. "This might be tricky... Challenger 1? Isn't that the tank that took down Iron Man? It's tougher than a T-62D, but if it misses its mark, it's useless. Let's play!"

With a swift motion, Watson drew his 4-meter-long sword, its blade shimmering with a fiery aura. "Raven, take down that tank!"

Swoosh! Huh! Watson burst through the clouds, landing atop the Challenger 1 tank with a resounding crash. "For Asgard!" he bellowed, plunging his sword into the tank's armor.

The dragon blade "Red Leaf" sliced through the metal, pinning the tank to the sand. Flames erupted, incinerating the crew inside. Meanwhile, Raven tore into the second tank, its claws ripping through the armor like paper.

As the battle raged on, Watson's team fought valiantly. The Earth Sand Dragon, Little Earth, emerged from the sands, its massive body charging forward like a behemoth. Fierce 1 and Fierce 2, two Jackal-like creatures, tore through the enemy lines with ease.

Despite being outnumbered, Watson's team held their ground. But as the fight wore on, Raven began to falter, its feathers bloodied and torn. "System, retrieve all monsters and redeploy Raven in front of me!" Watson shouted.

As the sandstorm closed in, Watson ascended to 2,000 meters, surveying the battlefield below. "Huh... that was close. Our strength still isn't enough. Almost lost some monsters... System! Can monsters recover from injuries?"

Ding! The system responded, "Monsters can recover in the Monster Space within 12 hours after being recalled."

Watson breathed a sigh of relief. "Good. As long as they don't die, there's no risk of permanent casualties."
