"Laufey, welcome to Asgard!"
Loki pulled out the Eternal Spear, bypassing the frozen Heimdall, and made his way toward Odin's slumbering palace with Laufey and several Frost Giants.
He removed the Asgardian guards protecting Odin, and after watching Laufey knock the God King aside, Loki gritted his teeth and refrained from attacking. He waited until Laufey was on top of Odin, ready to strike, before he rushed in and delivered a blow to Laufey.
The Eternal Spear unleashed a powerful burst of energy, sending Laufey flying. Before the Frost Giant King could speak, Loki ended his life with a second strike, taking down his own biological father.
"Laufey, how dare you try to assassinate my father! I, Loki, son of Odin, will never allow it!"
"Loki, you saved your father!"
The Queen of the Gods, Frigg, stood up and embraced Loki. He pushed her away, his anger still seething.
"They dared to do such a thing! I swear, Mother, I will make them pay!"
"I think it's better to first find your brother Thor. You two should discuss the war with Jotunheim together. This is no small matter," Frigg said, hesitating.
"Thor has been exiled by Father. How could I go against Father's orders?"
"Don't worry, Mother. I'll handle everything!"
Loki dragged Laufey's body outside the room, shouting loudly:
"Gather all Asgardian citizens in the plaza outside the palace immediately. I have an important announcement to make!"
Half an hour later, in the Asgardian plaza, Loki stood before a crowd of fifty thousand citizens and warriors, holding Laufey's lifeless body as he began his speech.
"Recently, the Frost Giants tried to sneak into the vault and failed to seize the ancient Winter Coffin. Now they have dared to attack our great Father Odin!"
"If we do not respond, the next time they will attempt a full-scale invasion."
With Loki's persuasive words, the citizens and soldiers of Asgard began to show anger, clearly swayed by his rhetoric.
"For the honor of Asgard, as your acting king, I hereby declare war on Jotunheim!"
"For the honor of Asgard!"
"For the honor of Asgard!"
The soldiers and citizens of Asgard shouted in unison.
Seeing the perfect moment, Loki raised his hand to silence the crowd and continued,
"War brings casualties, and as king, I do not wish to lose Asgardian lives fighting those Frost Giants."
"So, I've decided to unleash the full power of the Bifrost, destroying all of Jotunheim in one blow and ensuring we never face this threat again!"
"Never again!"
Most of the Asgardian citizens and soldiers cheered Loki's decision, as no one wanted their loved ones—husbands, children, fathers—dying in war.
However, a small portion of the citizens found the plan too cruel. Destroying an entire planet meant wiping out not just Jotunheim, but all life on it.
"This doesn't feel right. Loki is going too far. We need to find Thor in Midgard!"
The Three Warriors of the Valkyrie and Lady Sif, hearing Loki's decision, immediately realized the danger. They quietly slipped away from the crowd and flew toward the Bifrost.
"Heimdall, how could this happen?!"
But when they reached the location of the Bifrost, they discovered the guardian Heimdall was frozen there.
"Ha!"
Thankfully, Heimdall used his divine powers to break free from the cold, shattering the ice that had encased his body.
However, he was now at his limits.
"It was Loki. Loki let in the Frost Giants. This was all his plot," Heimdall revealed everything he knew.
The Three Valkyrie Warriors and Lady Sif were furious:
"I knew it was that damned trickster. Heimdall, quickly, send us to Midgard to find Thor!"
"It's too late. They're already coming!"
Heimdall rose, and from the direction of the palace, he saw Loki leading all the Asgardian citizens and soldiers toward them.
He grasped his sword and inserted it into the Bifrost's activation switch. Using his remaining strength, he activated the Bifrost.
"I'll send him directly to Midgard, along with his new friends. They might be able to help!"
The Bifrost activated, its multicolored light spanning across the starry sea and warping through space, directly landing in the house rented by Jane Foster in Old Bridge Town, New Mexico.
Inside, George, Tony, Steve, Logan, Banner, Betty, Thor, Jane, Erik, and Daisy, who had been discussing their next steps, were all dumbfounded as they were unexpectedly transported via the Bifrost.
"What the hell is going on?!"
George stared at the three Valkyrie Warriors and Lady Sif, who were charging at Thor, and then at the Bifrost and the breathtaking architecture of Asgard outside. For a moment, he was completely stunned.
This definitely wasn't what he had planned.
"Sure enough, the butterfly effect is impossible to predict!"
At that moment, George realized that the butterfly effect he had set off had caused such a significant change compared to the original story.
"Well, guess we'll just have to take things one step at a time."
Regaining his senses, he quickly led the still-shocked group to inquire with the Valkyrie Warriors and Lady Sif about the situation in Asgard.
After learning the full details, George couldn't help but twitch his mouth.
Before, they only had to deal with the Destroyer and Loki. Now, it seemed they would also have to face the full might of Asgard's army.
But after some thought, it probably wouldn't be that bad.
Thor, after all, had led Asgard's warriors in battles for years and had a very high standing in Asgard. He could probably convince some of them.
And as long as they could hold out until Odin woke up…
Actually, Odin wouldn't wake up until tomorrow morning at the earliest, so they still had several hours. They probably wouldn't make it.
"Good thing I brought Banner along, and Steve can still lift Mjolnir," George thought, relieved.
He was thankful he wasn't alone this time. If he had come by himself, he'd probably have to use a teleportation spell and hide on a nearby mountain.
"Loki, it really is him!"
Thor, now fully understanding the true nature of his brother, had a face full of anger.
But soon after, he looked apologetically at George and the others.
"Sorry, this is a matter for Asgard, and you shouldn't be involved. I'll have Heimdall send you all back immediately."
"This is no longer just Asgard's problem. If Loki becomes the ruler of Asgard, Earth might really face an invasion from Asgard's forces in the future," George said, his face full of righteous determination.
"Since Asgard once helped Earth fend off the Frost Giants' invasion, today we represent Earth in helping Asgard restore order!"
"Thank you for your help. Asgard will surely repay you," Thor said sincerely.
With the help of the Valkyrie Warriors, Heimdall struggled to rise and inserted his sword into the Bifrost activation switch.
"If things look bad, retreat, and I'll activate the Bifrost to send you all back to Midgard."
