On the tenth day since George's new clone appeared, his clone Panda was in a box, learning mimicry magic with Drake.

This was Drake's specialty, the magic that had helped him become one of the world's top magicians.

To be honest, after a simple introduction, George felt that this magic shared certain similarities with Transfiguration in some aspects.

One direction of Transfiguration allows non-living objects to be transformed into living creatures. For instance, Professor McGonagall often turns tables into pigs.

However, creatures created through Transfiguration usually retain the behavioral patterns of the species they are transformed into, making them difficult for wizards to control in most cases.

There are a few exceptions in Transfiguration-based spells, like Draco's Snake Summoning Charm and Hermione's Bird Summoning Charm, which allow the wizard to control the summoned creatures for combat.

Mimicry magic also has a similar effect, but it mainly involves two key aspects.

The first aspect allows the summoning of creatures from a drawing into the real world through mimicry magic. These creatures take on a real form and can assist in battle. For example, if there's a tiger in the picture, you can summon it to help you fight.

Of course, as a beginner, being able to summon a chicken is considered impressive. Drake often uses this trick to demonstrate transforming a rabbit.

The second aspect involves transforming existing sculptures into living, special creatures to control them in battle.

For example, if you see a stone lion sculpture on the street, you can use mimicry magic to give it life, turning it into a real, animate stone lion to help you fight.

If you mimic a stone bird, it can even fly.

This is different from the "Enchantment" spell in the Harry Potter world, which simply brings a non-living object to life. Without additional magic, it won't exhibit any special abilities.

For example, if you enchant a stone bird, it might be able to talk, move, or jump, but it will never fly because it's still a stone bird.

While George was absorbed in learning the magic, the lid of the box suddenly flew open, and David's panicked voice came from outside.

"George, come out and help me! There's a magician trying to kill me, and he's released a pack of wolves!"

"Finally!"

George thought to himself, realizing that the seal on Balthazar and Howatts had been broken. Howatts had likely come looking for the Dragon Ring and Morgana's nested seals.

Leaping out of the box, George quickly shielded David behind him. With a swish of his panda paws, two vicious wolves lunging at them were knocked aside, transforming into paper scraps that fell to the ground.

"A panda?"

Looking at the wolves he had conjured with mimicry magic, which were easily knocked back into their original form, Howatts, dressed in a coat and holding a staff, walked over, his expression puzzled.

He hadn't expected David to have a panda guarding him.

"A mere panda can't save you," Howatts sneered, pointing his staff toward the metal railing of the nearby stairs. The railing was immediately pulled up and transformed into a sharp spear that flew straight toward George.

"So you're using metal weapons against me? Are you seeking death?"

Seeing the iron spear hurtling toward him, George raised his panda paw. His psychic powers exploded, halting the spear in mid-air.

No matter how Howatts tried to control it with magic, the spear remained motionless.

"Here, take it back!"

With a swipe of his paw, George sent the spear hurtling back toward Howatts at an even faster speed.

Seeing the spear returning toward him, Howatts's face shifted slightly. With a wave of his staff, he used powerful magic to deflect the spear just enough for it to whiz past him.

"So, it's just a magic-using panda!"

Howatts's expression grew more serious.

But in the next moment, the spear suddenly pierced through his body from behind.

George controlled the spear with his psychic abilities rather than magic, so it wasn't just a matter of dodging it once—he could maintain control over the spear as long as it was within range.

"Alright, you've caught me off guard," Howatts said, looking at the metal spear that had pierced through his chest from behind. There was a hint of surprise on his face, but no fear.

In the next moment, his body instantly transformed into a mass of cockroaches, before reassembling into human form. The spear had already been expelled from his body.

"Impressive for a thousand-year-old magician," George thought to himself, silently admiring Howatts's skill. This magical ability allowed Howatts to be immune to any physical attacks. Even if a Gatling gun were to fire at him, it wouldn't matter—he could just turn into cockroaches and recover, though it was certainly an unpleasant sight.

"Go!"

After his body reformed, Howatts raised his staff, and an invisible force shot toward George.

If the force hit George, even with his panda form, it would likely send him flying from the sheer power of it.

"Armor protection!"

Luckily, George was no weakling. Sensing the incoming energy, he raised his hand, casting an Iron Armor spell in front of himself, blocking the powerful force.

At the same time, a faint green light began to glow in his hand.

"Avada Kedavra!"

It wasn't in George's nature to simply take a beating. Since his opponent could turn into cockroaches to avoid physical attacks, he decided to use the Killing Curse, aimed directly at the soul.

Howatts, who had initially been unconcerned, saw the green light and the deathly energy emanating from it. His expression changed drastically. He dared not turn into cockroaches and take it head-on. Instead, he quickly waved his hand and moved a nearby trash bin to shield himself.

The green light hit the trash bin, sending it flying, but the curse dissipated upon contact, failing to strike Howatts.

"The Killing Curse is powerful, but its hit rate is too low. I'll need to work on improving that," George muttered to himself as he didn't give up. Instead, he quickly cast another spell.

"God's Edge!"

A transparent blade shot out swiftly. Its invisibility made it difficult for Howatts to react in time, and it struck his body. Though he turned into cockroaches at the last moment, he still bore a wound on his side when he reformed.

The more troubling part was that the wound seemed to be affected by a strange power that prevented it from healing. Despite his impressive regeneration, Howatts couldn't fully recover from it.

"Damn panda, I'm going to kill you!" Howatts, enraged by the injury, snarled. In all his years, aside from Balthazar, no one had managed to injure him.

"Stone Giant!"

Howatts thrust his staff into the ground, and the earth around them began to shift. In the blink of an eye, a five-meter-tall stone giant rose from the ground and charged toward George and David.

"Using mimicry magic like this, impressive!"

George couldn't help but feel a sense of awe as the stone giant charged at him. He had never seen this move in the movies.

Fortunately, he had a countermeasure prepared.

"Thunder Blast!"
