Marvel's Magic Master: I Have a Clone in the Harry Potter World!

Chapter 105: Chapter 105: The Armor of the Wind God

Returning to his normal size and spreading his wings, George didn't wait for Erigor to speak. He soared into the air and, with an amplifying spell, loudly proclaimed:

"We are Fairy Tail wizards! Everyone listen up! These are Dark Guild wizards from Eisenwald. They intend to use the cursed dark magic item, the Lullaby Flute, to kill all the guild masters currently meeting nearby. This place is extremely dangerous. Please evacuate immediately and alert the military and the guild masters to come and assist!"

The priority wasn't to engage in battle right away but to evacuate civilians to prevent casualties during the fight. He also aimed to alert nearby law enforcement to report the situation quickly.

George believed that the guild masters, given their strength, wouldn't easily succumb to an ambush or a magical artifact. Most guild masters possessed S-class wizard capabilities, along with vast experience and expertise in various forms of magic.

He even suspected that such a large-scale curse might be ineffective even in an ambush—otherwise, the artifact wouldn't have been sealed away so easily in the past.

The resounding announcement echoed through the city. The onlookers, initially curious about the commotion, fled in terror, clearing the streets in seconds. To ordinary people, dark wizards were truly terrifying figures. News of civilians dying in conflicts involving dark wizards was commonplace in magical journals.

"Foolish cat!"

Enraged, Erigor swung his scythe, unleashing a sharp wind blade that sliced through the air toward George.

The feline's loud proclamation had clearly disturbed Erigor's plans, and he wasn't about to let it continue.

Seeing the green wind blade hurtling toward him, George was about to dodge when Erza leapt into the fray. With a single swing of her sword, she effortlessly shattered the wind blade.

"Pesky flies! You dare interfere with my plans? Stop them while I take care of the guild masters!"

Knowing the formidable reputation of "Titania" Erza, Erigor chose not to engage directly. Instead, he ordered the hundred or so Eisenwald wizards to hold the Fairy Tail team at bay while he took off with the Lullaby Flute, intending to reach the northern villa where the guild masters were meeting and unleash the curse before they could react.

"Attack!"

At Erigor's command, the Eisenwald wizards unleashed a barrage of magic, pinning down Erza and her companions.

"Not good!"

Neither Erza nor the others had anticipated Erigor's cowardice—fleeing rather than fighting.

Fortunately, George had a plan.

"Oh, turning your back on me? That's a mistake."

Flapping his wings, George swiftly pursued Erigor. With a flick of his wand, he cast:

"Expelliarmus!"

A red magical beam struck Erigor, forcing the Lullaby Flute and his scythe out of his grasp. Before he could react, George followed up with another spell.

"Accio Lullaby Flute!"

The cursed flute flew into George's paws.

"Damn it! I let my guard down!"

Retrieving his scythe, Erigor glared furiously at George.

"To think I was outwitted by a cat…"

"You damned cat! Give me back the Lullaby Flute!"

Erigor unleashed a series of wind blades, chasing after George. However, George used his nimble frame to evade the attacks, avoiding direct confrontation.

His earlier success had relied on Erigor's overconfidence and lack of defense. Given the speed of wind magic, Erigor could easily dodge most attacks if he were prepared. George refrained from using his trump card, the Sectumsempra curse.

That spell, while deadly and hard to detect, wasn't flawless. Observant enemies could anticipate its trajectory based on his wand movements. Until he mastered silent, wandless casting, revealing such a card prematurely wasn't wise.

"Good job, George! Stay behind me—I'll handle this!"

Seeing George secure the Lullaby Flute, Erza was elated. With a sweep of her magical lance, she sent a dozen Eisenwald wizards flying.

George didn't hesitate. With Erza, an S-class wizard, leading the charge, he gladly took a supporting role, ready to provide magical assistance or seize opportunities to disrupt the enemy.

"Stupefy!"

A blue beam struck Erigor, forcing him to slow down and evade. George used the chance to retreat behind Erza, joining Lucy and Happy.

"Fine. Today, I'll take on the 'Titania' myself!"

Realizing Erza was standing in his way, Erigor decided he couldn't reclaim the flute without defeating her.

As the leader of Eisenwald and an S-class wizard himself, he wasn't truly afraid of Erza.

"Storm Wave!"

A violet magic circle appeared in Erigor's hand, summoning a small tornado that hurtled toward Erza.

"A wind magic user, huh?"

Faced with the incoming tornado, Erza remained composed. Activating her Requip Magic, a red magic circle enveloped her.

"Armor of the Wind God!"

In an instant, her previous armor and lance vanished. Her body was enveloped in magic, transforming her appearance.

Erza now wore a tribal robe adorned with wind-patterned symbols, her hair tied back, and a pair of small wings on her head. The lance in her hand had transformed into a sword resembling a cluster of clouds.

"So this is Erza's Requip Magic. It really is different from ordinary Requip spells," George murmured, intrigued.

Ordinary Requip Magic typically involved summoning pre-prepared magical weapons from a pocket dimension for melee combat. To George, it didn't seem vastly different from retrieving items from an enchanted bag—though perhaps slightly faster.

However, Erza's magic was distinct. She could summon both magical weapons and armor, seamlessly equipping them in an instant, even changing her hairstyle.

By contrast, if George wanted to don armor from his bag, he'd need at least a couple of minutes to change—especially since armor was notoriously cumbersome to wear.
