Marvelous Mecha

Chapter 1428: 13-Dimensional Lifeforms

Upon hearing the inquiry from the Blade Warrior, Feng Luo nodded but said nothing.

It was Feng Yi who spoke. He did not intend to hold back, so he told everyone about Roland's insights into potential future developments.

"One ghost, two monsters, three races, four years, five limits," Kexiao's expression involuntarily darkened.

Sky Shadow frowned and said, "Even you believe in mysticism."

"If it's Roland's deduction, I think things won't be so simple — Feng Yi, possessing transcendent power, how do you view it?" She emphasized the word "transcendent" heavily.

"I wouldn't use such power to peer into the natural course, but I don't deny science. It's worth mentioning that philosophy is not mysticism. Humanity's understanding of the universe is still too one-sided. The known absolute speed of light is only based on current theory. Only by breaking paradoxes and daring to innovate can humanity look farther ahead."

Suddenly, the Blade Warrior became very interested and asked him, "What do you mean?"

"Hmm? Why does science resist mysticism, spiritualism, and even theology, yet can't explain many problems? Isn't this contradictory and ironic?"

Feng Yi said, "As we reach the 28th century, the pineal gland has been confirmed as the organ for humans' special abilities, also the sole organ for sensing cosmic fluctuations, able to see the universe's most realistic side.

With the rise of the scientific trend and human self-neglect, we gradually adapt to the rhythm of modern life, losing our originally possessed abilities.

Mo Ying once told me that the people of Atlantis possess a third eye and have various abilities, such as seeing soul magnetic fields, penetrating matter, and concentrating telekinesis.

It also said that humans in childhood have this ability, but unfortunately, as they grow and their minds become polluted, upon maturing, humans will utterly shut their mind's window.

We can call it the Sky Eye. Only those with pure hearts possess this ability, unrelated to good or evil. Even animals like cats and dogs do not lack it, but unfortunately, animals with limited intelligence cannot rapidly develop this ability.

Therefore, while humans practice for years or decades, animals often take hundreds or thousands of years to reach human achievements, which is generally believed to be monstrous.

Roland's mention of two monsters emerging is not unfounded.

In conversations with the Bizarre, it also candidly told me its main body has lived for tens of thousands of years, from 3.5 dimensions to the Magic Crystal world, both a transformation and a cosmic reshuffle. The Magic Crystal civilization destroyed itself and the world.

I think the universe's filtration process will never cease. The rise and fall of civilizations are natural evolutionary laws, be it self-destruction or external interference. However it may be, when we realize this, we must be wary."

"Half a year is just the completion period for the first phase of measuring orbits, huh, how coincidental." The Blade Warrior spat slightly, then asked Feng Yi, "Any ideas from Roland's side?"

"No ideas, we fundamentally don't know what we'll face in the future."

Feng Yi had no doubt, stating that the powers of everyone present were already strong, strong enough that the Cantelu tribe dared not invade, so it's impossible that Roland would claim five years to be the limit of catastrophe.

In other words, everyone present, even him after transformation, no matter how powerful, could hardly change the future. This is an uncontrollable factor, put simply, they have unbeatable enemies.

Feng Yi's words were not without reason, after all, all of Roland's previous prophecies had come true.

Besides Roland, even Lasso revealed a glimpse of the future upon awakening, believing that humanity's situation was worrying, but unfortunately did not clarify.

As a mentor, Lasso was more suited as a mentor figure, perhaps fearing something; hence he only pointed things out without breaking them down, exacerbating everyone's suspicions.

Sky Shadow seemed to suddenly think of something, and his calm voice abruptly chilled the atmosphere to freezing point: "Roland mentioned two monsters, could one possibly refer to the Bizarre...?"

"Not the Bizarre," Feng Yi shook his head.

"Why are you so sure, considering you didn't confirm the Bizarre's death?"

"When I left, the critically weak Bizarre indeed hadn't died, but that's not what I wanted to say. At the time, I had already used transcendent power to purify the Bizarre's negative magnetic fields entirely. In its final moments, it even exhibited a rare touch of humanity, so I believe it wouldn't be the Bizarre."

"You should be able to take me to that dimension, right?" Sky Shadow continued asking. He didn't want to sit and wait; half a year should be enough for him to attain a higher realm.

It could be done, but the problem is that except for Feng Yi himself, leading others to cross dimensions could further worsen the situation.

Feng Yi's crossing bypasses limitations through transcendent power, because his essence is transcendent and not bound by universal rules, but others crossing would forcefully break universal limitations to elevate dimensions, enjoying higher cosmic resources, violating the First Law of the Universe, the law of oppositional unity.

When balance is disrupted, worse things may happen. Thus, Feng Yi pondered and solemnly responded, "It could be done, but you will die."

The cheerful atmosphere was completely gone by now, and Sky Shadow put down the wine jug and said, "Are you serious?"

"Certainly not a joke. The death state is close to the Third Rhythm's objective conscious form, which is the spirit body in our eyes. The zone of mental extension, no matter how far, consciousness can reach instantly, while the physical body is the shackle binding humans. If you still don't understand, I suggest checking encyclopedias on Raymond Moody and reading his books."

Sky Shadow retorted, "Why did we succeed last time then?"

"Last time, I wasn't aware of the terror in natural evolution." Feng Yi explained to everyone. At least last time, Roland said this one line, everyone might not meet again in the future, which proves Roland foresaw the disasters of the next five years but didn't care much, yet as everyone crossed dimensions, the Bizarre also grew stronger each time. As of today, the originally set script would also lose its controllable tension with the development of the main world, possibly turning into a hellish opening.

What sort of opening is not a battlefield, a macro battlefield indeed.

Take the battlefield as an example. A simple start is straightforward; pay for connections, and even if you don't join the troops, you're still an active soldier in name.

Ordinary start, second-line troops, average soldier, has handled guns and stood guard, occasionally supporting front-line battles, but fortunately, being far from the main frontline poses little risk.

Difficult start, veteran level, moderate climate, limited ammunition, plenty of stamina, you need to be vigilant about your surroundings and protect yourself effectively, always ready to jump into craters or hit the ground to avoid bullets from all directions, and the 155 caliber that could shatter your internal organs even from tens of meters away.

Nightmare start, mercenary rank, the front-line environment is complex, experienced mercenaries with strong combat qualities, their individual abilities far surpass special forces soldiers. To survive, they often fight alone lacking organizational discipline, thus executing poorly, yet even so, they still die on the frontline.

Hell start, vague rank, the 103 is notoriously known as the death Colonial Planet, eight times gravity, minus 40 degrees climate, no ammunition or weapons, no equipment or water, you might not be shot dead, but instead freeze to death, starve to death, or die a non-natural death due to excessive gravity.

Currently, humanity's situation is no different from a hell start. As everyone's power increases, the world's level also strengthens. You should know that Feng Luo's world of bizarre strength is far less comparable to this world.

Since physical dimensional travel is impossible, what good strategy do we have now? The answer is absolutely none, and we can only take one step at a time.

"Feng Luo, in half a year you should leave first. I believe your strength should be enough to confront that world's bizarres in half a year."

Feng Yi cast a glance at Sky Shadow, simultaneously seeking the master's opinion in silent agreement.

Sky Shadow didn't speak, indicating consent.

A banquet quickly ended in unhappiness.

On a certain White Dwarf, a mass of pitch-black substance slowly opened its eyes. As memory images continuously surged in, the hollow, confused gaze was soon replaced by sharpness.

It awoke; more precisely, the bizarre was never dead. The only difference is that the void negative energy within it was completely purified by Feng Yi, replaced by brand new life and fragments that linger in its mind.

Eventually, it defeated Feng Yi and became the strongest. As far as the outcome goes, it had no regrets.

Unfortunately, the residual power within it couldn't allow it to leave the White Dwarf, couldn't let others know it was the strongest existence. In utter helplessness, it eventually gave the remaining energy to Feng Yi, to show it had been in the world, to reveal its little-known humanity.

Itself, then, slowly awaited the final moment on the White Dwarf.

The bizarre never thought it would open its eyes again; with this moment's arrival, it vaguely found that even if it no longer absorbs cosmic power, its existence itself wouldn't be erased by the rules.

In other words, not only didn't it die, but with the disappearance of the Dark Magnetic Field, it reborn as a being acknowledged by the universe's rules.

Having lost the Dark Magnetic Field, for some unknown emotion, the bizarre also fell into reminiscence momentarily, no longer wishing to absorb cosmic matter to strengthen itself, since it had already become the strongest.

It stood up, deciding to fly off the White Dwarf, bursting out a shocking cry while jumping simultaneously.

Boom! The bizarre leaped into the air at an extremely fast speed, and midway, it smashed back to the ground even faster, splashing a mighty wave...

The gravity was just too great!

To break free from the White Dwarf's gravitational pull, it would have to endure roughly 1/12 of Earth's mass, which might be feasible when transformed like Feng Yi, after all, it had experienced Feng Yi's explosive limits. It wasn't a joke, but for itself, it's hard to do.

Fortunately, it still mastered space manipulation techniques. Although it couldn't compare to Feng Yi's maneuver, the moving distance was very limited. However, as long as it was used continuously in a short time, it could escape the White Dwarf's constraints.

Sizzle...

The next instant, the bizarre appeared mid-air, but still falling rapidly downwards.

Sizzle sizzle sizzle sizzle sizzle sizzle sizzle sizzle sizzle sizzle...

Space techniques were continuously deployed; the bizarre's form shuttled back and forth at high frequency like Feng Yi's displacements until it felt its body suddenly lighten, affirming it had escaped the gravity's effective range but still might be captured.

Then it burst out with another surge, creating unstable ripples in cosmic space, and disappeared in the blink of an eye...

——

Within a compact spatial box, they were rapidly interacting using a special language, each consciousness formed of light clusters without any physical entity, that was communication transcending the spirit and mind, silently.

This was evidently a higher-stage civilization.

Born in the 13th Dimension, they can shuttle freely through consciousness spaces, manipulate space-time nodes to constantly extend outward, exploring further distant cosmic spaces, or occupy positions, and scan further unknowns through spiritual awareness.

Once High Dimension beings enter lower dimension time-spaces, their immense and comprehensive structures would shatter dimensions completely, disrupting spacetime order. Maybe that dimension won't collapse, but it would inevitably leave relative (3-dimensional) voids. The higher the dimension, the more unstable, resulting in more violent outcomes.

This wouldn't affect the 'Wave' Civilization in any way. During the early stage of the Wave Civilization, they had numerous attempts trying to solidify bodily structures through a filtering rule.

All the experiments failed, as the terrifying superlight space would tear any shaped matter in the wave universe apart, through Cosmic Particles' equal transformation. Eventually, they invented the semi-form Wave Box, also known as the box, connected by a space axis between High Dimension and lower-dimensional dimensions, presenting as semi-physical form.
