Marvel: Transmigrated with Travelling Frog?!

Chapter 192: Chapter 192: Time to Smash!

"Quick! Everyone, get into the air-raid shelter!"

"Get more personnel over here for support!"

George, fully armed, directed civilians to evacuate into the underground shelter while leading his team to hold off the Chitauri invasion with their guns.

"Chief, this isn't going to work!"

"Their firepower is stronger than ours, and they can fly!"

George's face darkened.

He knew this wasn't a viable solution, but what other choice did they have?

The number of alien invaders flooding New York was simply overwhelming.

Reports from other areas confirmed that superheroes like Spider-Woman had managed to rescue many civilians.

At this point, their only hope rested on those superheroes.

After all, besides them, George couldn't think of anyone else who could handle this swarm of aliens descending like locusts.

"Did we make contact with the military?"

"What did they say?"

George had sent someone to contact the military as soon as they deployed. Compared to their police force, the military's firepower was far superior.

If the military could assist, George was confident they could contain the aliens within Manhattan.

If they escaped beyond this area, the casualties and damage would increase exponentially.

"Chief, watch out!"

Suddenly, a dozen Chitauri war chariots launched an attack, sending several beams of deep blue lasers directly toward George.

Just when George thought he couldn't dodge in time—

The lasers abruptly stopped midair, as if colliding with something invisible.

"What happened?"

George was still in shock when, not far ahead, a transparent figure gradually materialized, revealing the silhouette of a woman.

A moment later, a woman in a blue bodysuit appeared in front of the police officers.

"Don't worry, Officer."

"We'll handle this."

"I'm Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four."

George nodded gratefully. "Thank you."

Boom!

In another direction, a wave of flames surged forward, incinerating several Chitauri soldiers into charred corpses.

The flames descended and slowly transformed into a human figure, who made a gesture toward George.

"Human Torch, Johnny Storm."

Next, a dark figure leaped from a high-rise, carrying two Chitauri corpses in his hands.

The sight of him made the surrounding officers uneasy.

The figure, though humanoid, looked as if he were made entirely of stone blocks.

Sensing the wary gazes, the stone figure spoke nonchalantly, "The Thing, Ben Grimm."

Thud!

Above them, several Chitauri soldiers were suddenly trapped in a large blue sheet, which squeezed them tightly, producing the sickening sound of bones breaking.

Moments later, the crushed Chitauri soldiers dropped from the sky like broken toys.

The blue sheet landed on the ground and transformed into a human shape.

"Mr. Fantastic, Reed Richards," the man introduced himself.

Reed then walked toward George.

"Officer George, leave these aliens to us."

"Lead the civilians to safety. Ben and Sue will cover you."

"Johnny and I will set up a defensive line above."

George nodded. "Understood. We'll cooperate fully."

"I've heard of your reputation, Mr. Richards. It's an honor to work with you."

"Likewise."

George and Reed quickly established a defensive line to protect the civilians evacuating to the shelter.

Sue approached, casting a worried glance at the distant portal.

Chitauri soldiers continued to pour endlessly from the portal.

"Reed, are you sure Tony will be okay?"

"Relax. I know he can be annoying sometimes, but when it really matters, he's reliable."

"Besides, we're not the only ones protecting this city."

Susan was momentarily stunned. "Who else?"

"Come on, let's set up the defensive line first. We can't let these guys escape Manhattan."

Seeing Reed avoid the question, Susan rolled her eyes at him.

---

New York, Sanctum Sanctorum.

On the rooftop, the Ancient One, clad in her yellow hooded robe, gazed at the distant portal in the sky and shook her head.

"The Infinity Stones... So, they've finally been activated."

A pendant resembling an eye rested on her chest, emitting a faint green glow.

If anyone had been watching, they would have noticed that the pulsing frequency of the green light matched that of the Tesseract.

The Ancient One formed a hand seal over the pendant, and the green light gradually faded.

Just then, several Chitauri soldiers charged toward her.

With a simple twist of her hands, two golden spell circles appeared in her palms and flew out like spinning discs.

In an instant, the soldiers were decapitated.

"Hmm?"

Her expression shifted as she looked toward a specific corner of New York.

"Emperor isn't on Earth."

"Yet someone else is wielding the power of time…"

---

On the streets.

Most of the Chitauri soldiers had gathered, roaring as they surrounded Rogers and his team.

"Thor, fly to the top and fry them with lightning."

"Tony, take care of the stragglers with Spider-Woman and your pet."

Gwen nodded in agreement.

Among them, only Rogers had experienced war and led troops in battle.

In this chaotic battlefield, he was the only one capable of coordinating everyone.

"Barton, provide cover for the others. Shoot down everything you see."

"Natasha, you're with me. We'll clear the ground and rescue civilians."

Rogers issued his commands calmly and efficiently.

"Need a lift?"

"Of course, Tony."

Tony grabbed Hawkeye and flew him to a rooftop, setting it up as a vantage point.

"Let's go, Pikachu."

"Today, you can go all out. When he returns, you'll be rewarded."

Pikachu understood that Gwen was referring to Alan and nodded happily.

Finally, Rogers turned to the Hulk.

"Hulk."

The Hulk, breathing heavily, glanced at Rogers.

"Give it everything you've got. Smash!"

"RAAARGH!"

With a thunderous roar, the Hulk leaped into the densest cluster of Chitauri soldiers…

And the battle raged on.
