Marvel: Trading with Worlds

In the izakaya, only one table of guests was received that morning: Kain and Tsunade.

Tsunade had something to discuss with Kain, so she came to the izakaya. However, after arriving, she immediately ordered a lot of good wine and drank slowly, but refused to talk about business as she looked around.

Kain thought that Tsunade had noticed the relationship between him and Orochimaru, but as she continued to drink, he slowly realized, "Tsunade, are you just here to drink with me?"

"Idiot! I'm Konoha's Sannin! How could I do such a thing?"

Tsunade slammed the empty wine glass on the table and said to Kain righteously. If he hadn't seen her drink several sips and her face turn red, Kain might have believed Tsunade's words.

Kain tapped the table and said, "I received a report from the casino a few days ago that you've been losing a lot recently."

When Tsunade heard this, she almost choked on the wine in her throat. "Ahem. I came to ask you about the palliative potion. I heard about it from Kushina a few days ago."

"Not only do you know about it, but you should also be studying it."

Kain already knew that cause Kushina was becoming his little informant, so she had been the one to mention it. "You can't research it, Tsunade. This potion contains many rare ingredients, so rare that you've probably never even heard of them. Even I don't have much of the potion left, it's reserved for emergencies."

"So you came to me just for this? If that's all, why are you being so coy?"

"You bastard! Who are you calling coy?"

Tsunade said angrily. She was Sannin, not some other female ninja. After looking down for a moment, she looked up and asked,

"You're now the Propaganda Minister of the Land of Fire, right? Can you help me inquire about the situation in the capital? What's the daimyo's intention behind cutting the funding before the war?"

Kain thought to himself that there was no need to inquire. If his feelings were correct, the daimyo was likely the person who most wanted Hatake Sakumo to become the Fourth Hokage. Sakumo's samurai style and gentle personality made him an ideal candidate. 

If Hatake Sakumo became Hokage, the relationship between Konoha and the Land of Fire would slowly change over the next ten years.

The daimyo could also use Sakumo's character to gradually intervene in Konoha's affairs, and Hatake would most likely not refuse. But now, the chance of Hatake becoming Hokage was slim, or even nonexistent.

Given the daimyo's losses, it made sense that he would want to make up for it by cutting funds to Konoha Village.

"I'll try my best, but it's a little surprising that you would take the initiative to care about this kind of thing. By the way, you can do me a favor too. The newspaper wants to interview you, Sannin, to beautify your story and publish it. I hope Tsunade will cooperate when the time comes."

Kain couldn't tell Tsunade that his real intention was to promote Orochimaru, but it would be too obvious to promote only Orochimaru. Bringing Tsunade into the mix would make it less suspicious.

"No problem, leave it to me!"

Tsunade said proudly, then licked her red lips and continued to attack the food and drink on the table, mainly the alcohol. She had already finished three bottles of it in a short time.

This made Kain wonder again if Tsunade had just made up an excuse to come to him for a drink.

While drinking, Kain casually inquired about Konoha Hospital from Tsunade. After a while, they left, but not before Tsunade secretly packed a few bottles of high-quality shochu.

Konoha Village was now facing budget cuts, and with a little guidance, most ninjas would vent their anger on Hatake Sakumo.

However, it would be a pity if White Fang died like this. Kain thought for a while. It might be difficult to recruit Sakumo, but he could help him a little so that he wouldn't be so stubborn.

In the evening, Kain contacted Orochimaru again about helping him become the Fourth Hokage. He could take care of the Land of Fire's daimyo and fame promotion; Orochimaru needed an opportunity.

 Currently, his achievements were still weak. In terms of strength, Kain wasn't sure about Orochimaru's power.

At the beginning, he had given Orochimaru a perfect Extremis virus serum. If Orochimaru used it, he would gain an extra bloodline limit. Combined with Ryūchi Cave's Snake Sage Mode, Orochimaru would be the strongest of the Sannin by now.

Eventually, Orochimaru proposed that he wanted experimental bodies and new research equipment. This wasn't difficult for Kain, but he also asked Orochimaru to help him continue developing the jutsu, mainly to use Sage Chakra to enhance the body and study the manipulation of super soldier serum.

That would be a challenge for Orochimaru, but one that intrigued him.

Kain, having mastered Sage Mode, could train a group of subordinates who were imprinted with the cursed seal jutsu. With the addition of the super soldier serum, they could surpass most Chūnin with just physical fitness.

If combined with the micro-reactor personal battle armor Kain conceived, mass production of Jōnin could become a reality. Their reaction speed would match that of Jōnin, no seals would be required, and they could wield a variety of weapons, making them effective in group combat.

However, that goal was still far off. Vanko and his son would continue to study the Ark reactor, and Orochimaru had yet to begin his research.

"Boss, there are currently forty-six ninjas supported by us, but only seven are Chūnin, and the rest are all Genin," Yakushi Nono said, taking out a list and handing it to Kain. 

This list reflects the results of her development over the years. While learning medical ninjutsu from Tsunade, she also developed a secret staff.
