Marvel: The Ultimate Superman

Chapter 272: 271. Deal with Odin

"Don't trust Thor?" Nolan asked, brow raised.

Odin's sigh was heavy.

"He's not ready. Even with the Odinforce, he lacks the strength to face Ragnarök. I let him grow too wild… too slow."

He glanced at the man before him Midgard-born, yet already a force even All-Fathers had to reckon with. In mere years, Nolan had risen to kill Gorr the God Butcher himself. That was a feat few in the Nine Realms could claim.

"Even if I handed Thor my power, he wouldn't yet be a true All-Father. Not in time."

Odin's gaze was level, his tone frank.

"Fighting Dormammu isn't enough. Ragnarök demands more."

Nolan shrugged.

"It's not just you, Odin. My teacher and I will fight and even Gorr's shadow might join us."

That made the old king's eye narrow.

"Then name your price."

"The Space Stone."

The request hit like a ripple through Yggdrasil. Odin frowned.

"You want the Tesseract? It's… a relic, nothing I need. The Bifrost already bridges worlds. Still—why?"

Nolan only smiled. Odin considered a moment longer before nodding.

"Very well. But know this holding two Stones will draw the Mad Titan's gaze."

"Good," Nolan said without hesitation. "I'm not planning to let him live either."

There were greater treasures in Asgard's vault, Eternal Flame, Casket of Ancient Winters, but Nolan knew Odin would guard those far more fiercely. For now, the Space Stone would do.

With a gesture, Odin summoned a crystalline containment field. Inside floated a glowing cube, pulsing with spatial power the Space Stone in its refined form. Smaller now, condensed, but no less potent.

The artifact drifted into Nolan's palm, space humming at his touch.

"Keep your word, Sorcerer Supreme," Odin said, his voice heavy with meaning.

"You have it, All-Father."

Two Infinity Stones Time and Space. Together, the keys to piercing the multiverse's walls.

The Abyss – Nul's Prison

Back in his lab, Nolan prepared for the next move striking the Dark Dimension itself. But first… the God of the Abyss.

The shadowed form of Nul glared from within his bound realm.

"You think stealing my Abyss changes anything? You must spend most of your dimensional power to keep me chained. If you face a true enemy, you'll have two choices—release me, or die."

"Or," Nolan said evenly, "I turn your prison into fuel for my own domains."

At his call, the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak flared to life, layered with the Vishanti's sigils. Dimensional power surged into his grasp, fed into the twin realms under his command.

Nul snarled.

"You dare feed the Abyss to your dimensions?! You can't kill me you'd have to erase the Abyss itself!"

"Then I'll start now."

A punch cracked Nul's form apart. Before it could reform another blow. The Abyss shuddered, collapsing inward as Nolan's entropy-laced strikes forced it deeper into his realms.

The God of the Abyss felt his power bleeding away, terror replacing rage.

"Wait! Stop!"

Nolan raised a hand. A soul-forge sigil spun to life an unbreakable contract, witnessed by the Vishanti themselves.

"Sign it, or die here," Nolan said flatly.

Nul's eyes burned.

"You would enslave a god."

"God or not you only have two options."

The sigil pulsed. Null hesitated… and the Abyss trembled.
