Peggy stood before her vanity mirror, carefully applying makeup to enhance her features. She wore a stunning, formal dress that accentuated her curves and made her feel elegant. As she reached for a blonde wig, she knew it would complete her transformation. She pulled it over her head, admiring how well it disguised her natural brown hair. With a nod of satisfaction, she knew she was ready for the evening's events.
As she descended the stairs, her eyes fell upon Valexis, who was working diligently in the kitchen.
When Peggy descended the stairs, Valexis heard the rustle of her dress and turned around to greet her. The sight of her blonde wig and impeccable makeup left him momentarily speechless. With a low whistle of appreciation, he couldn't help but admire how stunning Peggy looked in her fancy dress.
Peggy twirled around in front of Valexis, her dress flowing gracefully. "What do you think?" she asked with a grin, hoping her disguise would pass muster.
Valexis whistled appreciatively, admiring her transformation. "Who's the lucky man?" he teased, giving her a chef's kiss gesture.
Peggy's smile faltered a bit. "Actually, I'm not going on a date. I have to infiltrate a club to retrieve some documents belonging to Howard Stark."
Valexis' expression turned serious as he nodded in understanding. "When will you be back?" he asked.
Peggy checked the clock on the wall. "As soon as I have the documents in hand," she replied determinedly.
With a final wave, Peggy left the house, steeling herself for the mission ahead.
The grandiose La Martinique club in New York City was bustling with the city's elite, their chatter filling the air with excitement. Peggy, donning a blonde wig and a stunning dress, entered the club, scanning the room with a quick glance. The sight before her was a true display of the city's upper echelon, with luxurious clothing and jewelry adorning every person present.
The jazz music filled the air as couples danced under the golden lights of La Martinique. Peggy, searching for Raymond amidst the elite crowd of New York City. As she weaved through the throng of people, a man approached her, his eyes alight with interest. Politely declining his offer to dance, Peggy continued her search until she found one of Raymond's bouncers. With a flick of her hair and a charming smile, she requested to see Raymond, knowing he had a penchant for blondes.
Allowed entrance, Peggy ascended the steps to Raymond's office, her heart pounding with anticipation. She paused at the door and took a deep breath, preparing to put her skills of persuasion to the test. Before knocking, she pulled out her Sweet Dreams Lipstick and applied it to her lips, the soft scent of vanilla wafting up to her nose. Then, with a flick of her wrist, she knocked on the door.
Peggy confidently walked into Raymond's office, flashing a seductive smile and tossing her blonde hair back. Raymond's eyes lit up at the sight of her, and he eagerly welcomed her in. But as soon as Peggy mentioned the Nitramene formula, Raymond tried to dismiss her.
Not one to be easily deterred, Peggy turned on the charm even more, leaning in closer to Raymond and tracing her finger along his chest. She made it clear that she wasn't leaving without a deal, and that she had connections who were willing to pay top dollar for the formula. Peggy promised Raymond that she could offer him more than his current buyer if he was willing to take the risk.
Peggy's heart sank as Raymond lied to her about not having the formula for Nitramene. She could feel his eyes on her lips and his hand squeezing her waist.
Suddenly, he pulled her close and kissed her, catching her off guard. Peggy pushed him away, her eyes flashing with anger.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" she hissed.
Before Raymond could answer, one of his men walked in to announce a visitor. The man paused when he saw Raymond kissing Peggy and quickly shut the door, not wanting to interrupt his boss.
Peggy watched as Raymond's eyes slowly closed, and he slumped forward onto his desk. Shocked, she jumped off his lap and wiped her mouth. Disgusted by his behavior, she muttered under her breath, "Disgusting."
Peggy's heart pounded as she rifled through Raymond's vault, her fingers deftly manipulating the tumblers of her Pick-Lock Wristwatch. Her eyes widened in shock as she laid eyes on the Nitramene, which had been transformed from a mere theoretical formula into a fully functional bomb.
Her mind racing, Peggy knew she had to act fast. She immediately contacted Edwin Jarvis, interrupting his dinner preparations with his wife. Urgently, she relayed the dangerous situation to him, and Jarvis sprang into action, scouring through Stark's notes in search of a solution.
Finally, Jarvis stumbled upon a crucial piece of information: the Nitramene would only be stable if it was mixed with a specific combination of sodium hydrogen carbonate and acetate.
The man in the Green Suit was standing outside the office when he heard a commotion. He peered in and saw Peggy attempting to leave while Raymond lay unconscious on his desk. As the tall bouncer strode into the room, Peggy acted quickly and knocked him out before he could reach for his weapon. She then made her escape from the office and encountered the man in the Green Suit.
Raymond slowly regained consciousness, his head throbbing with pain. As he looked around the room, he noticed that the blonde woman was gone and his safe was open. The sudden entry of the man in the Green Suit confirmed his worst fears.
"The blonde woman has it! Quickly, get her!" Raymond exclaimed, his voice raspy with panic.
The man in the Green Suit raised his revolver, aiming it at Raymond. Suddenly, the sound of a gunshot echoed in the room.
* BANG *
Raymond's body slumped over the desk, a bullet hole in his forehead. The man swiftly left the room, determined to find Peggy and retrieve the stolen Nitramene.
Outside the club, Peggy hailed a taxi and quickly jumped in. As she breathed a sigh of relief, she noticed the man in the Green Suit following the car.
