Marvel: The Chaos Witch

Adam tried to read the mind of the last remaining soldier however he felt something blocking his psychic powers. However, that was no longer a problem as with a bit of focus, Adam managed to disable the microchip he could now sense with his technopath powers. He then proceeded to successfully read the soldier's brain finding out a lot of information including the location of a hidden Base belonging to their organization 'Trask Industries'. An organization secretly focused on developing anti-mutant weapons like the future Sentinels, Mutant identifying devices etc.

'I definitely need to visit this base soon' thought Adam as he telekinetically snapped the last soldier's neck killing him. He then teleported back to the Motel room only to find the Motel door was open and Stryker's body had gone missing from the bathroom along with the bodies of Agent Zero and Victor. Thinking back to what had happened so far, the only reason he could think of was that some secret soldiers had evacuated the three people while he was preoccupied fighting the soldiers. Realizing this, Adam teleported back to the battle site where he proceeded to board one of the Jeeps. After inputting the co-ordinates to the hidden base he had obtained from the soldier's mind into the car's GPS and finding the directions to it. Adam started the car, heading there immediately. Ready to loot his first Hidden Base.

Two days later, Adam arrived at the designated hidden Base. At first Adam had been confused as all he saw was a large dam filled with water but after using his technopath abilties, he was able to sense a variety of technological devices beneath the dam.

'So the base is hidden beneath the Dam. Makes sense'

There also seemed to be something blocking his mind reading abilities when he tried to gauge the number of people present within the hidden Base. Nevertheless, it no longer mattered to him. Finding an entrance on the side of one of the dam's walls, Adam used his technopath powers to hack the control panels allowing him to enter. He also shut down the nearby cameras so the people in the base couldn't see him. Finding the disappearance of footage weird, some of the Base's soldiers were ordered to scour the passage entrance with lost footage. Entering the passage however they encountered Adam walking towards them who simply manipulated his telekinetic powers to snap the necks of the soldiers killing them.

Proceeding onwards, weaving through countless hallways, Adam eventually came into the main area of the hidden base filled with at least a dozen scientists and dozens of soldiers who stood guard over the scientists. On most of the scientist's table were a bunch of people all of whom were conscious and screaming out loud in pain most likely being subjected to something excruciating. For example, on one of the tables was a woman around his age with diamond skin who was currently bound and being hit but a powerful laser whose power the scientist standing next to her was gradually increasing. Finally, at some point the laser managed to pierce through the silver diamond skin eliciting a cry of pain from the diamond girl who had a laser piercing through her stomach.

"Bring subject 13 to heal subject 4!" commanded the scientist monitoring the diamond skinned girl on the bench while also taking notes on his notepad. A soldier nodded, disappearing off into one of the hallways and a few minutes later he returned pushing in front of him a boy dressed in pure grey clothing similar to the rest of the mutants. The boy, having gotten used to his purpose, placed his hand on the diamond girl's shoulder. Immediately the hole in her stomach closed and healed itself within a millisecond. Having completed his work, the mutant was escorted to the side of the room where he now stood awaiting the need for his healing powers.

He, however didn't get to wait as to his shock and the shock of the scientists and mutants present. The necks of the soldiers present suddenly twisted, killing them instantly. Emerging from one of the lab's entrances was Adam who slowly walked towards the shocked scientists.

"Who are you?" asked one of the scientists, his voice showcasing his immense fear at the moment which was understandable after having witnessed dozens of soldiers die at the same time.

"I'm no one of consequence." Said Adam as he proceeded to shut down the scientist's implanted mental protection chip and read all of his memories. Once done, he used his powers to put him to sleep. He proceeded to do the same with rest of the scientists one by one. Finally upon coming into contact with the mutant kids and teenagers, he also read their memories before putting them all to sleep.

'Well this is quite a find. Some of these have useful abilities worth checking out while the rest have shitty abilities like elongating their hair or turning their face into a rat's. Also I now know the location of their cells which I can visit later. But for now I need to focus on testing something.'

After collapsing all of the entrances that connected and granted entrance to the lab from the outside world, Adam proceeded to grab one of the scientists and activate his power. Except this time he wasn't trying to absorb the scientist's power as he had none. Rather he wanted to absorb his talent. To be more specific, his scientific talent. Adam knew that when it came to talent be it technological or magical, he was average. Even in looks he was average. He was as average as any person could be and before he had never thought of doing anything about it as he was just an ordinary human but now with his Chaos magic capable of rewriting reality and a power probability mutant ability, it might be possible to change and upgrade his less qualifying aspects. He had already upgraded his physical attributes and acquired a few new powers but his talents remained the same.
