Marvel : Strongest Siblings

Chapter 73: Marvel 73

As Max stared at the potion's description, his mind began to weave a plan. This potion wasn't just a tool for individual empowerment—it was a beacon of hope for this fishman. If used strategically, it could transform Fish-Man Island from a vulnerable sanctuary into a fortress of strength.

And ALong with this, they will be invincible" Max smiled as she looked at the other potion called, potion of True Leader.

He is going to give it to Shoroshi, who is born with innate powers to control Sea Life. The only flaw she has is that she is too cowardly, But with this she will be true Queen of Ocean.

He closed his inventory and turned to the rest of his crew, who had returned from exploring the island. Gwen was carrying a small pouch filled with rare pearls, grinning ear to ear as she showed off her finds. Patrick had stayed near the dock, keeping watch over the Celestial Dragons, who were now huddled in silence, their former arrogance completely stripped away.

"Find anything interesting?" Patrick asked, leaning against the ship's mast, his eyes fixed on Max.

"More than interesting," Max replied with a smirk. "I found a way to turn Fish-Man Island into a force the world can't ignore."

Enel, who had been reclining lazily on the mast, perked up. "Oh? And what grand scheme are we embarking on now?"

Max stepped forward, his commanding presence drawing the crew's attention. "The Atlantean Evolutionary Potion," he began. "It was created during a time of great need by the Atlantean King. With it, the Fish-Man race can evolve into Atlanteans—beings with strength ten times greater than their own, bodies capable of withstanding the pressures of the deep sea, and the potential for limitless growth."

The crew exchanged surprised glances, but it was Patrick who spoke first. "Sounds like a game-changer. But what's your angle, Max? You're not the charity type."

Max chuckled. "You're right, Patrick. I'm not. This isn't charity—it's strategy. If Fish-Man Island becomes stronger, it can control the gateway to the New World. No more pirates exploiting this place, no more World Government oppression. It becomes a power of its own, and we'll have allies who owe us their future."

Gwen crossed her arms, a thoughtful look on her face. "So, you're planning to offer this potion to King Neptune? You think he'll trust you enough to accept it?"

"He'll trust results," Max replied. "But this isn't just about convincing him. It's about showing the people of Fish-Man Island what's possible. Once they see the transformation, they'll demand change themselves."

Gwen tapped her chin, her lips curling into a sly smile. "A bold move. I like it. But how do you plan to get Neptune on board?"

Max's gaze turned toward the towering coral structures of Ryugu Palace in the distance. "I'll make him an offer he can't refuse."

Inside the palace, King Neptune sat with his advisors and children, their discussion on Max's proposal growing more intense by the minute.

"Father, aligning with Max is a risk," Fukaboshi said, his voice firm. "But it's also an opportunity. The World Government has never truly protected us. They've only used us."

Ryuboshi nodded in agreement. "And it's not just about protection. Max has already proven he's willing to stand against the World Government. If we ally with him, Fish-Man Island could finally have a voice."

Manboshi, always the optimist, chimed in. "And he did save all those people from the Celestial Dragons! That has to count for something, right?"

Neptune stroked his beard, deep in thought. "It's not Max's intentions I doubt," he said slowly. "It's the repercussions. If we side with him, we'll paint a target on Fish-Man Island that even the Sea Kings might not be able to protect us from."

As they debated, a messenger entered the chamber, bowing low. "Your Majesty, Lord Max has sent a message. He requests an audience to discuss the future of Fish-Man Island."

Neptune exchanged a glance with Fukaboshi before nodding. "Very well. Bring him in."

When Max entered the grand hall of Ryugu Palace, his every step echoed with confidence. He approached the royal family and their advisors, bowing slightly out of respect but maintaining his air of authority.

"King Neptune," Max began, his voice steady. "I understand your hesitation. Aligning with me is no small decision. But I come with more than words—I come with proof."

He reached into his coat and pulled out the Atlantean Evolutionary Potion, its shimmering liquid casting an ethereal glow across the room. The advisors gasped, and even Neptune leaned forward, intrigued.

"This," Max said, holding up the potion, "is the key to Fish-Man Island's future. With it, your people can become stronger than ever before. No longer victims of the surface world's greed or the World Government's neglect. Instead, you'll be a power that no one can ignore."

Neptune's eyes narrowed. "And what do you ask in return, Max? Such a gift is never given freely."

Max smiled, his expression sincere. "All I ask is that Fish-Man Island stands as a beacon of freedom. Together, we can ensure that no one—pirate or noble—takes advantage of your people again."

The room fell silent, the weight of Max's words sinking in. Finally, Neptune spoke, his voice resolute. "If what you say is true, Max, then perhaps it's time for Fish-Man Island to chart a new course. But this decision cannot be mine alone. The people must have a say."

Max nodded, stepping back. "Then let's show them what's possible."

"You can call your strongest warrior and weakest one for demonstration" Max said as king Neptune nodded.

Soon, two Fish-Men entered the hall. One was a battle-hardened warrior, his body covered in scars that told stories of countless battles. The other was a young teen, his eyes wide with curiosity and nervousness. They both bowed deeply to King Neptune before turning their attention to Max.

Max nodded approvingly as he sized them up. "These two will do," he said, his voice steady and measured.

From his inventory, Max retrieved the shimmering Atlantean Evolutionary Potion and handed it to the younger Fish-Man. The teen, who appeared to be of the dolphin race, hesitated for a moment before accepting the vial with trembling hands.
