Chapter 213: Too Savage! One Man Against an Army

As the Decepticon's taunt echoed across the battlefield, every war machine present wore the same expression—metallic, twisted confidence.

They weren't just ready to kill Alex.

They were convinced they'd already won.

After all, no one—no matter how powerful—could survive an onslaught from 135 Decepticons.

Not even the so-called monster who had obliterated Wiper's elite team.

Not today.

Not against all of them at once.

The logic was sound.

The math irrefutable.

But logic and math meant nothing to Alex.

"Do I look like I'm running?"

His voice rang out, sharp and calm.

Hands in pockets.

Expression unreadable.

He didn't just face them.

He stood among them.

Like a king walking through his court—

or a god striding through a storm.

"Still playing tough?" a nearby Decepticon jeered. "Let's see how long that lasts."

SNAP.

One by one, the Decepticons aimed.

Dozens. Scores. Over a hundred weapons locked onto a single man.

It was like watching a black hole form—

an overwhelming gravity of death, focused entirely on him.

The pressure in the air became suffocating.

And then—

"Everyone—full defensive formation! Leave the rest to me!"

Before anyone could react—

BOOM!

A sonic boom erupted as Alex vanished.

Not a blur. Not a flash.

Just gone.

---

First Kill:

He reappeared in front of a towering Decepticon—his fist already swinging.

CRACK—BOOM!

The impact sounded like an imploding building.

The Decepticon's chest caved inward, sparks and oil spraying like blood.

It flew backward—

smashed into another behind it—

both crushed into a tangled mess of shrapnel.

---

Next Six:

The air tore apart.

BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM!

Six Decepticons erupted in flame, torn asunder before they even realized they'd been attacked.

Their weapons still raised.

Their targeting systems still tracking empty air.

Alex was already gone.

---

"OPEN FIRE!"

Panic broke the ranks.

The Decepticons opened fire.

Plasma. Lasers. Missiles. Railguns. Sonic disrupters.

The entire battlefield became a maelstrom of destruction.

But their enemy had already disappeared again.

---

Blur of Death:

Alex weaved through the chaos—

not dodging bullets,

but making the bullets hit each other.

Missiles intended for him struck fellow Decepticons.

Railgun rounds ripped through friendly units as Alex redirected his position by the nanosecond.

He wasn't just fast.

He was weaponized physics.

---

Mutant Defensive Triad:

At the center of the storm, the mutants held their position—barely.

Liz poured every ounce of her power into maintaining a glowing blue energy dome.

Erik fortified it by yanking steel plates and rebar from the environment, swirling them around the shield like an armored shell.

Vincent summoned massive vines from the earth, weaving a final layer—organic, flexible, shock-absorbing.

It wasn't pretty.

It was barely holding.

But it was working.

---

Outside the Barrier:

Through cracks in the vine cocoon, the mutants caught flashes of carnage.

A Decepticon screamed as Alex ripped off its arm, then used it like a mace to cave in its face.

"He's—" Banshee began.

"—not human," Darwin finished, his voice almost reverent.

---

Thirty Down.

One hundred left.

Alex landed atop a ruined car, surrounded on all sides.

Covered in oil.

Eyes glowing.

Chest rising calmly, not even winded.

"Still think this is enough?"

He cracked his neck.

"Come on, then. Let's see who breaks first."
