Marvel Start With Reality Stone

Chapter 6: Danger Is Everywhere

Although he had a target, Qi Jun waited to set out.

After all, Qi Jun's identity was a real problem; appearing in the Marvel Universe, he was truly unrecorded in this world.

Unlike the chaos caused by the previous battle between two Iron Men at Stark Tower, no one checked Qi Jun's identity, but that didn't mean they wouldn't know.

Moreover, with a transformer exploding in Chinatown, Qi Jun didn't believe anyone would investigate along the way.

If Qi Jun were to walk out now, he'd certainly be caught!

Therefore, before heading to Hell's Kitchen, he needed to use the remaining energy to create an identity that could withstand scrutiny.

Since altering human memories required a lot of energy, Qi Jun immediately abandoned the idea of "creating" a native-born citizen of the United States.

After all, paper documents were easy to forge, but if a policeman or agent were to investigate the address Qi Jun created seriously, everything would be exposed.

At that point, not only would it fail to clear his undocumented status, but it would also attract the attention of intelligence agencies, which was not worth the risk.

Although by that time, Qi Jun expected to have grown to a point where he wouldn't need to worry about those agencies, it was still a hassle that was better avoided.

...

So, how can intelligence agencies make Qi Jun's identity "real" without enough means to verify it?

In Qi Jun's view, it was quite simple!

That was to directly use the Mutated Stone to create a real identity from an ancient Eastern country, with a visa for traveling to the United States!

Although S.H.I.E.L.D.'s reach was global, they couldn't touch the ancient Eastern countries, especially the inland areas; they could only set up a small office there, and how many people there were loyal to S.H.I.E.L.D. was questionable!

Because Qi Jun didn't have more energy points, he could only do this much for now. He could gradually enrich his identity once he gained more from Hell's Kitchen. Moreover, for safety, he needed to keep some energy reserved to facilitate actions in Hell's Kitchen!

With a thought, the identity card that Qi Jun had carried with him changed instantly under his gaze, becoming an identity card from this Eastern country on Earth.

Next to the identity card

Passports and travel visas appeared out of nowhere, completely validating Qi Jun's legal identity and making it entirely genuine!

As long as there is enough energy, the Reality Stone, whether in its mutated form or not, is just that powerful!

...

Qi Jun's lips slightly curled up, pleased as he put away all the documents.

Having experimented before, Qi Jun was not worried about the authenticity of these documents.

Without delay, Qi Jun quickly got ready and quietly left the motel.

Looking at the remaining 0.5 energy points displayed by the Mutated Stone in his mind, Qi Jun couldn't wait for daylight to plan slowly.

Anyone who has seen "Iron Man" knows that the day after the battle between Mark II and Titanium Man is the day Tony Stark openly admits his identity as Iron Man.

Once Iron Man officially appears, it signifies that all kinds of demons and ghosts in the Marvel Universe will start to stir.

Qi Jun felt great urgency with only about ten years left until Thanos' fateful snap.

Moreover, Hell's Kitchen during the day is not ideal for growing Qi Jun.

Only Hell's Kitchen at Night could provide Qi Jun with enough development opportunities!

...

Indeed, when leaving Chinatown, Qi Jun unsurprisingly encountered two separate checks from the federal police.

However, Qi Jun easily passed through with a fully verifiable and secure identity. Qi Jun's somewhat clumsy Mandarin-tinged English provided him with a perfect cover.

Incidentally, Qi Jun also received some 'friendly' advice from two groups of federal police: not to wander around at night randomly.

The public safety in the United States is less secure than the media portrays.

In a nation where everyone is armed, sometimes, a verbal altercation can inexplicably escalate into a gunfight.

Moreover, Qi Jun had overheard a discussion about a daytime shooting that had occurred along the way.

Although Qi Jun's understanding was somewhat fragmented, he got the gist of it: it seemed a person who had been fired from their job retaliated by opening fire on a crowd, killing as many as 13 people!

Upon understanding this, Qi Jun couldn't help but remark on the volatile nature of the American people, who resort to gunfire over minor frustrations.

This also instilled a significant sense of crisis in Qi Jun.

A wise man does not stand under a collapsing wall, and Qi Jun does not want to leave his fate to mere luck.

To avoid an untimely and inexplicable death, he needed to ensure he possessed sufficient power, whether his strength or the power of his subordinates!

At the same time, Qi Jun couldn't help but lament, "These are thirteen recyclable treasures!"

If he had been able to recycle them, wouldn't that have effortlessly provided him with thirteen energy points?

One energy point could accomplish so much; thirteen would give Qi Jun a perfect start!

What a waste!
