Marvel Start With Reality Stone

Chapter 3: Mutated Version Of The Reality Stone!

All Marvel fans know that in the Marvel Universe, the Reality Stone has very stringent conditions for use. Without a strong physique and a powerful energy supply, no one can control the Reality Stone. Moreover, the Reality Stone without the Infinity Gauntlet can drain the user's life!

Even the leader of the Dark Elves, Malekith, who possessed the powerful Aether (whose core is the Reality Stone) and could confront Odin, ended up being drained of his life force by the Reality Stone within the Aether, ultimately leading to his demise at the hands of Thor!

This shows that despite the powerful abilities of the Marvel Universe's Reality Stone, it harbors equally significant risks!

However, Qi Jun's golden finger—the Reality Stone—is unlike this!

Or rather, the Reality Stone that Qi Jun possesses is a Mutated, even an upgraded version, distinct from the Reality Stone in the Marvel Universe!

Because...

After binding with this Mutated Reality Stone, Qi Jun fully understood the capabilities of this powerful golden finger!

The Mutated Reality Stone possesses all the abilities of the Marvel Universe's Reality Stone and even more!

For example, the Marvel Universe's Reality Stone can only be used within the Marvel Universe; if it leaves this universe, its powers are diminished or even rendered useless due to the differences in the universal source. But Qi Jun's Mutated Reality Stone can adapt to the source of any universe, thus fully utilizing its powers!

Most importantly!

Unlike the Reality Stone in the Marvel Universe, which requires a massive energy supply and drains the user's life force, Qi Jun's Mutated Reality Stone, does not drain his life force. Instead, it provides Qi Jun with defense!

This defense is passive.

Of course, if Qi Jun wishes, he can also convert this ability into an active skill.

However, the difference is that passive use does not require any additional energy from Qi Jun, and the Mutated Reality Stone will even absorb incoming energies. But active use is like employing the Mutated Reality Stone, requiring Qi Jun to supply energy actively!

In fact, according to the information relayed to Qi Jun by the Mutated Reality Stone, this capability is essentially energy absorption, absorbing all types of energy!

Similar to the mutant known as Sebastian Shaw, the Black King, but far more powerful and versatile!

This energy absorption includes physical, non-physical, positive, negative, mental, soul, and magical energies.

With this passive ability, Qi Jun could survive well in space with an oxygen tank, even without any protective suit, because all harmful energies or radiation directed at Qi Jun would be absorbed by the Mutated Reality Stone!

Of course, such a powerful passive skill has its flaws for Qi Jun.

Firstly, the energy passively absorbed by Qi Jun's Mutated Reality Stone is not available for Qi Jun, the host, to use; instead, it is completely consumed by the Stone itself. For instance, if Qi Jun were thrown into space, he wouldn't be harmed by the energy, but he could still die from lack of energy supply and oxygen.

Secondly, this passive effect has limits, specifically the maximum amount of damage Qi Jun's body can withstand. What if Qi Jun would be instantly obliterated or if a powerful superhero threw him into the sun? Then, this passive effect would naturally fail.

Lastly, the most problematic aspect of this passive effect is that if Qi Jun isn't instantly destroyed, the Mutated Reality Stone's passive effect can endlessly regenerate Qi Jun's body.

It's as if Qi Jun were split in two by an anti-sniper rifle but wasn't reduced to an irrecoverable state; thus, the next second, Qi Jun would revive fully. The cost, however, is the intense pain experienced during being split.

Despite this, Qi Jun still views this passive effect as extremely powerful.

As long as Qi Jun doesn't recklessly endanger himself, like running into the energy beams at Stark Tower or getting directly hit by a high-yield missile, he has strong survival instincts. And as long as Qi Jun keeps these weaknesses to himself, who else could know about them?

Even telepaths can't invade Qi Jun's mind to discover these weaknesses.

Moreover, if a telepath dares to probe Qi Jun's mind, the Mutated Reality Stone will teach them a lesson. At the least, the invading energy will be consumed, causing brain damage to the telepath and, at worst, rendering them incapacitated or even dead.

After arriving in the Marvel Universe, Qi Jun fears the various mental and soul powers.

Of course, Qi Jun would not actively provoke others. A trump card remains a trump card because it's unknown; once revealed, it's no longer a trump card.

Lastly!

Qi Jun also realized why even the Sorcerer Supreme, the Ancient One, and the Sorcerers of the New York Sanctum had not detected his presence as a 'stowaway.'

It's naturally because of the Mutated Reality Stone!

Even in its Mutated form, the Reality Stone is not something the Ancient One or others could scrutinize, even if they possessed other Infinity Stones.

Moreover, in Qi Jun's view, the Mutated Reality Stone is more advanced than the Infinity Stones of the Marvel Universe, so how could the likes of the Ancient One discern Qi Jun's arrival?

Of course, if Qi Jun were to approach the Ancient One and act recklessly directly, that would be another terrifying story altogether.

Flexing his fists, Qi Jun felt entirely reassured.

Without the threat of the Ancient One and the prying eyes of Asgard, having the powerful Mutated Reality Stone meant Qi Jun could surely make a name for himself in this world!

Qi Jun: I will become the strongest!
