Marvel Start With Reality Stone

Chapter 23: Boundaries Must Exist!

Even though Qi Jun knew that the epic battle between Abomination and Hulk hid enormous benefits, he wasn't in a rush to 'pick up money.'

Not to mention that 'money' was lying there; consider the situation where General Ross went to capture Bruce Banner and failed, leading to Hulk's escape.

Then, waiting until Hulk turned back into Bruce Banner to meet Mr. Blue, there was still some time left!

Escaping the capture to smuggle himself back into the United States from Brazil, even with his extremely skilled smuggling experience, would be challenging!

Before that, Qi Jun had other things to handle.

That was to ensure the safety of Big Daddy and Hit-Girl in this 'suicidal' mission!

.............

Qi Jun possessed a complete set of personal beliefs about life, values, and worldviews.

In this world, he could disregard the life and death of anyone else because this wasn't the world that bore and raised him.

Qi Jun felt no sense of belonging to this world!

However, Qi Jun had his own mature set of principles.

Whether these principles were correct or not, at least Qi Jun wasn't the type to use someone and immediately ignore them, sending them off to some forsaken country and forgetting all about them!

Unlike his previous copying of English skills, that old man was not in danger and didn't require anything in return from Qi Jun, allowing him to absorb the English skills without guilt.

But 'Firearms Mastery' was different, and Qi Jun planned to 'pick up the leftovers' behind Big Daddy and Hit-Girl.

If Qi Jun didn't know these two were in danger, perhaps he would repay them with money or information they cared about and wanted to know, but that would be it. After all, copying skills hadn't caused them harm, and Qi Jun wouldn't feel too bad about it.

However, knowing they would be in danger after copying and ignoring the skills did not align with Qi Jun's values, life beliefs, or worldview!

At least at this moment, Qi Jun still had a 'conscience'!

Qi Jun couldn't do something like benefiting from someone and then coldly watching them head towards death.

Perhaps some might think it's foolish to repay someone for something they aren't even aware of, especially if it hasn't harmed them. But Qi Jun didn't know it was silly; in fact, he believed it aligned with the principles of most people.

Even if you repay someone, they might suspect your motives.

At least, in Qi Jun's view, this was also a kind of baseline.

A baseline that at least preserves the last bit of kindness!

Of course, there wouldn't be much to discuss if it were an enemy.

Not just copying, even soul searching wouldn't be off-limits!

Mercy towards an enemy is cruelty to oneself!

After crossing into the Marvel universe, Qi Jun often recited this saying!

.............

Watching Big Daddy and Hit-Girl, who were on edge throughout the journey, Qi Jun shook his head.

He wouldn't push himself to such limits just to be a street hero.

In Qi Jun's principles, the goal is to live more comfortably and easily, no matter what you do or your goals.

But the way Big Daddy and Hit-Girl constantly kept their nerves on edge, frequently engaging in actions that danced on the brink of death and not knowing how to enjoy life, was something Qi Jun couldn't agree with.

It's understandable to calculate wildly for survival.

But to have the ability to live and enjoy life easily, yet still push oneself to test the bounds of death, in Qi Jun's view, was absurd!

You say I'm struggling because I know about the threat of Thanos.

If I don't struggle, even if the snap does not wipe me out, I'd still be killed by aliens.

But you, why are you struggling? To take down a big drug lord?

Hmm...

.............

After a lot of sneaking around, finally, when only half an hour of the special effect of the 'Undercover Sunglasses' remained.

With a 'tail,' Big Daddy and Hit-Girl finally arrived at the dock where the Kingpin's Gang was supposed to receive the goods.

This journey had surprisingly wasted a whole forty minutes!

Qi Jun, following behind helplessly rolled his eyes; that's a total waste of 0.4 energy points!

0.4 energy points! Enough to materialize another full magazine, plus a few scattered Glock 19 bullets!

.............

Qi Jun didn't continue to complain.

Qi Jun found that there were indeed many gang members at this dock.

As for whether they were from the Kingpin's Gang?

Qi Jun didn't know.

After all, who would converse casually while constantly mentioning 'how our Kingpin's Gang does things'?

Even Hydra only whispers, 'Hail, Hydra!'

At the end of a conversation.

The Kingpin's Gang surely couldn't be more overbearing than Hydra, right?

At least, with the special effects of the 'Undercover Sunglasses,' Qi Jun, strolling through the dock, didn't hear such arrogant speech.

.............

Leisurely strolling around, Qi Jun found the hiding spot of Big Daddy and Hit-Girl.

It seemed fairly hidden from Qi Jun's third-person, almost God-like perspective.

After all, this was a father-daughter duo who had mingled in the underworld briefly, and they certainly had some hiding skills.

Otherwise, how could they have so annoyed the drug lord, Frank D'Amico?

As depicted in the movies, the younger, more agile Hit-Girl hid in a set of shipping containers closer to the dock where the boat was moored.

Big Daddy, on the other hand, hid in a small building on the outer perimeter, operating a police-issue Remington sniper rifle, providing Hit-Girl with real-time environmental information... and long-range support!

Seeing this, Qi Jun was not surprised.

After all, his firearms skills were copied from Big Daddy and Hit-Girl.

In the firearms memories imprinted on Qi Jun, this father-daughter duo often fought in this manner, and their skills were very proficient.

"Here they come!"

"Not long after, with the noisy noises from the gang members hidden in the dock, a fishing boat? Slowly approached.
