Chapter 1: Crossing into Marvel!
"Wow! What! The! Heck!"
"Watching a movie and ending up in the Marvel Universe?!"
Qi Jun looked at the intense battle between two exoskeleton armors, one large and one small, in the distance, feeling utterly incredulous!
Anyone who had seen "Iron Man 1" would understand why Qi Jun knew he had arrived in the Marvel world.
The famous Mark II and Iron Monger, especially Tony Stark's unmistakably flamboyant Iron Man suit, would be recognized by anyone slightly familiar with the Marvel Universe as to who was operating these armors.
Unlike other protagonists in transmigration novels who would mingle to get acquainted, Qi Jun immediately pulled his hoodie over his head to cover most of his face after sobering up and assessing his world, blending into the chaotic crowd to distance himself from Stark Tower.
I was ignoring whether he had any special advantages or if his 'smuggling' was sensed by the Sorcerer Supreme—The Ancient One.
According to the plot, Qi Jun knew that Iron Monger, also known as Obadiah Stane, Tony Stark's uncle and the infamous antagonist of "Iron Man 1," would ultimately be incinerated by Pepper Potts using the overloaded Arc Reactor beneath Stark Tower.
That blast of energy, comparable to a nuclear explosion, could melt even most of Tony Stark's later Mark armor series, not to mention vaporizing them instantly!
Qi Jun dared not bet whether the energy blast would only shoot toward the sky as in the movie; a direct explosion would mean no one within several kilometers could survive.
Although Qi Jun subconsciously believed this wouldn't happen, what's Marvel without Iron Man?
But he had crossed over, and in such a bizarre way through watching a movie, who could guarantee that this world must have Iron Man?
As he ran, Qi Jun also complained inwardly about Iron Man—Tony Stark. Hulk Banner had already saved everyone, and Doctor Strange was holding up a single finger, maybe just to let you steal a gem. Why did you have to snap your fingers?
If Tony Stark hadn't snapped his fingers, Qi Jun wouldn't have had to cross over, right?!
.............
Indeed!
Qi Jun was originally an ordinary orphan who grew up in the Fei Lu Orphanage on a parallel Earth.
Although an orphan, he fared much better than most white-collar workers!
After all, the whole family isn't hungry if one is full. Being single and having no one to control him, why would he want to cross over?!
...
This crossing was entirely because Qi Jun watched "Avengers: Endgame" again!
Knowing "Avengers: Endgame" was about to be removed from theaters and wanting to watch it again, apart from finding a pirated version, he could only wait indefinitely to watch it on video platforms.
Even on a rainy day, Qi Jun specifically bought a ticket for the cinema's last "Avengers: Endgame" screening.
Everything was going fine with the movie playing, and Qi Jun saw Hulk Banner snap his fingers and Thanos from the parallel universe snap his fingers.
But Qi Jun never expected Tony Stark to fingers, and then he ed over!
And he crossed right into the middle of Iron Man's battle against Iron Monger!
Qi Jun almost cursed Iron Man to death.
Why? Why did Tony Stark's snap lead to my transmigration?
If transmigration was necessary, I also watched the premiere of "Avengers: Endgame," why didn't I transverse then?
Could this be because this was the last "Avengers: Endgame" screening in the cinema?
For a moment, Qi Jun's ranting energy could have blown up the Earth!
Unfortunately, Qi Jun wasn't a ranting alien, nor did he have the powers of one.
Qi Jun could only blend into the crowd, desperately distancing himself from the center of the battle.
Of course, Qi Jun fought to stay away from the center of the battle for the reasons mentioned above.
Qi Jun realized that he, perhaps, maybe, probably—was wearing his own body!
Looking at the familiar scar on the back of his left hand, left from a fight with a bully in his childhood.
A pair of relatively clean but rough hands are signs of his lone struggle through life.
She was wearing a hooded sweatshirt due to the rainy day when he went to watch the movie.
Especially the sweatshirt pocket containing Huawei's latest high-end smartphone, the P30!
Qi Jun couldn't believe that in the Marvel Universe of 2008, when Iron Man was just born, a Huawei company had already released the P30 version!
Clearly!
Qi Jun had directly transmigrated into the Marvel Universe!
Qi Jun believed that once S.H.I.E.L.D. discovered his identity, oh, no, once Hydra discovered it, he would be doomed!
