Marvel: Peter's Second Chance

Aunt May's POV:

I was laughing so hard seeing Peter's expression that I thought that I might have misheard him but just to be sure I asked,

" Can you say that again Peter? I couldn't hear you properly." Hearing my question Peter took a deep breath and with a determined expression, he said," I said, I want to join a dojo Aunt May. I'm tired of getting bullied, plus attending a dojo will help me build my body, mind and discipline "

Hearing his reply, I was stunned but also happy. Peter's determination reminded me of Ben. I'm sure if Ben was here, he would say,"That's my boy!" and then he will give a bear hug to Peter. I took a few moments to think about, Peter's request and even though I already decided to let him go, I can't let Peter think I'm an easy woman so took as much as time possible and finnally I said, " Fine! You can go, but you should not get into any trouble and you shouldn't get hurt. Promise me young man"

Peter's POV:

With Aunt May's permission, I set out to find a dojo to join. For me to join the optimal dojo, I'll need to find what type of fighting style I prefer. In the original MARVEL comics Spider-man is often described to be a well balanced and versatile fighter. He often uses his intelligence and strength in tandem to win his fights.

The issue right now is, Spider-Man could achieve this only because of the spider bite. Too bad, I'm stuck with only my intelligence, a attribute window, a skill tab, a trait tab, an inventory and a weapon/ability that I'm not even able to use without my body failing me. Man now I understand how, Izuku Midoriya must have felt with OFA, at the beginning.

Sure I might have an advantage over other ordinary people but that's the thing, I only have advantages over ordinary people. I'm not blessed by some cosmic entity (obviously gonna ignore the fact that I got reincarnated only to be entertainment to some GOD), I don't have a team, I don't have years of combat experience and I don't have limitless resources(Yeah, I'm looking at you,Tony!).

I only have tools to catch up to them. Anyways I'm getting off topic. Hmm, maybe, I should take taekwondo or maybe capoeira maybe I should take taekkyeon. Well I should check out all the dojo's that teaches these fighting styles. Well, no rest for the wicked I guess. Now here comes a long day of dojo hunting.

No One's POV:

We see Peter going to different dojo's all around New York and see the students train. Even though he was not a fighting expert Peter could tell that majority of the dojo's were scams and the teachers were con artists while the students were just idiots.

Heck, he even saw a dojo where the student was absolutely trashing the master and the master just played it off as mistakes that should be avoided in a fight. It had become noon when Peter found himself to be desperate. He had found some good dojos but he was not sure which one to choose.

As Peter sat at the park deep in his thoughts, he started to think he should take a risk with the Chikara dojo but he wasn't sure that he would be able to fight "The Hand" off, if they decide to eliminate him. As Peter was thinking about which dojo to choose, he was hit by a sudden realisation.

Why did he only have to focus on a single fighting style when he could learn something that was a mixture of those. He decided to learn MMA with a little bit of capoeira and sojutsu as his choice of fighting style. Now he needed to find a suitable dojo. With renewed vigor, Peter once again continued his search. Afterall how hard could it be to find a dojo now that he had a definite path.

As Peter would come to learn, it is very difficult. The dojo's which matched his desires were hidden underneath a lot of fake dojo's and the worst problem was that they were all located in different parts of the town far away from each other. Peter had to run around a lot to check them out and it had even become evening. Peter quickly sent a message to Aunt May saying he might be late when returning home.

Then he looked at the last ten names in the list of dojo's he had not yet checked. The first one in the list was closed when he went there and after further investigation he found out that the dojo master had recently died and his son had sold it to some businessman. The next in the list was run by a bunch of martial arts enthusiasts without any formal training and they had zero clue about what they were doing.

The third one wasn't any better as it looked more like a cover for a drug ring than a dojo. Then comes the fourth one, where a group of thugs tried to rob him and the dojo master appeared out of nowhere and beat them up and then asked Peter if he wanted to learn his matrial arts. It didn't take Peter much to understand that the thugs were con artists. So he just ditched them and ran away.

Finally Peter's salvation came in the form of the fifth dojo. The dojo was located near his house(lucky). The dojo looked well furnished and when Peter asked around about the dojo he only got good reviews from the locals. He also saw that there were twelve online reviews which were most probably from the students of the dojo.

As Peter was staring at the dojo's name which read "Raijin Dojo", he heard someone clear their throat behind him. When Peter turned back, he was certainly not expecting to see the sight before him. He saw two Asians of japanese descent. One was a male while the other was a female. The male one has blonde hair while the female had red hair.

Peter got shocked because these people were not meant to exist in this world but here they were infront of him. Seeing them raised Peter's opinion about the dojo after all if they had even an ounce of the experience their alternate universe had, well it meant, Peter hit the jackpot!

Hey! It's your friendly author here. I couldn't upload for a while because of some family matters. I also have to prepare for my final exams from next week onwards so the chapter updation will be completely random. Also I hope y'all would have realised the crossover characters. Next chapter we will see even more crossover characters and some original characters of mine.
