Chapter eighty one:

It was Wanda's birthday and I was excited because I'd been planning something pretty special. It was always a challenge but I tried to surprise her every year. This year I was throwing her a surprise party in the evening but before that I had arranged for the chef from our favorite restaurant to come and cook us dinner. I got up early to make Wanda Maximoff breakfast in bed. As I opened the door I see Wanda Maximoff sleeping peacefully. She was so beautiful. I put the tray of food down quietly on the bed side table climbed back into bed next to Wanda Maximoff. Wanda Maximoff then opened her eyes and smiled.

"Happy birthday Wanda." I said before kissing her gently on the lips.

"Thank you Travis." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

Wanda Maximoff then gave me a quick kiss on the lips before eating her breakfast. After breakfast we head down to the lounge to open presents with the kids. I had truly outdone myself as had the boys and Natasha. Tommy and Billy were starting to get into art. They drew beautiful pictures of Wanda Maximoff's favorite pictures of us on our wedding day. Natasha had recorded her own version of our wedding song and had created a video with pictures and clips from that day. It was wonderful. They brought Wanda Maximoff a jacket and shoes as well.

"I wasn't sure what to get you this year so I got you a lot of little things I know you'll like and there's a surprise later this evening for you to wear the second present for." I said before giving her the present.

Wanda Maximoff then opened them and the first one was a pair of earrings. The second one was a stunning pink dress. The third was matching high heels. The final one was a envelope. Wanda Maximoff then opened it and began to cry.

"Well I promised you that I'd take you on a cruise and we've always been too busy or couldn't get the time off until now. The kids are staying with Carol and Jordan. Happy birthday Wanda." I said before kissing her gently on the lips.

Wanda Maximoff then jumped up and kissed me long and passionately on the lips. "I love you so much Travis." Replied Wanda Maximoff before she kissed me long and passionately on the lips once again.

"I love you too Wanda. Now let's go and get ready before Carol and Jordan gets here." I said.

We got ready for the day and started to make sandwiches for lunch when Carol and Jordan arrived.

"I can't believe you took time off of work to come to my birthday party." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"Well you are my best friend Wanda. Besides I can't have you wearing that pink dress that Travis got for you without doing your hair." Said Carol Danvers.

We spent a few hours laughing and reminiscing before we all started to get ready for the evening. Carol Danvers gave Wanda the full works, washed, cut and blow dried. It looked amazing. I had gone to check on what I had planned before Wanda started to get ready.

Wanda Maximoff then looked in the mirror at the pink dress, and her auburn hair was pulled back into a bun. For the first time in a long time Wanda Maximoff wasn't worried about getting old. I then knocked on the door when Jordan opened it I smiled at her.

"What do you think Travis?" Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"That I could have lived a million lifetimes and never understand what I did to deserve you. You take my breath away Wanda. Wow. I just don't know what to say." I said.

"I love you so much Travis." Replied Wanda Maximoff before she kissed me gently on the lips.

"I love you too Wanda. Are you ready?" I said.

Wanda Maximoff just nodded at me. She then followed me to the candlelight dinner. I then pulled out a chair for Wanda and she kissed me gently on the lips to say thank you. I had gone through so much effort. When Wanda looked down at the menu it's what she would usually order at our favorite restaurant where my family lives. Wanda Maximoff then looked at me confused.

"What's going on Travis?" Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"Well I wanted tonight to be special so I may or may not have asked the chef from our favorite restaurant to make dinner for us to celebrate your birthday. Jordan and Carol drove Mia and Giuseppe here." I said.

"After all this time you're still finding ways to surprise me Travis. This is wonderful thank you." Replied Wanda Maximoff before she kissed me gently on the lips.

"You're welcome." I said.

The meal was beautiful as expected. Wanda Maximoff just couldn't get over how much I organized. I was the most attentive, thoughtful and loving husband Wanda Maximoff could have asked for. As the evening wore down the kids went to stay at a friend's house.

We walk back to the penthouse and Wanda was confused cause there was decorations that wasn't there when we left. Wanda Maximoff followed them into the bar where everyone else was.

"Happy birthday Wanda." Replied Rio Vidal or my mother before she gave Wanda a glass of red wine.

"How many more surprises do you have in store for me Travis?" Said Wanda Maximoff.

"Just the one when we get back to our room." I replied.

"I can't wait cutie." Said Wanda Maximoff before she kissed me gently on the lips.

We made our rounds greeting everyone. It made Wanda Maximoff smile to see Karen Page there.

"It's good to see you Karen. Thank you for coming." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"Your my friend Wanda. So of course I came to your birthday party." Said Karen Page.

We all have a wonderful evening. As soon as the party ended we use our to clean up. I made Wanda Maximoff wait outside while I got the surprise ready for her. After a few minutes I called her upstairs. The bed is covered in rose petals in the shape of hearts and a bottle of red wine on ice by the side of the bed. I was wearing nothing but my boxers. I then walked over to Wanda Maximoff and french kissed her hard and ferociously. Carefully I unzipped Wanda Maximoff's pink dress and she stepped out of it.

I then pushed Wanda Maximoff on the queen size bed and took off her bra and panties.

"Travis will you make love to me?" Replied Wanda Maximoff before she removed my boxers.
