Marvel: Breezing Through History as an Eternal

Chapter 81: Torturing Teenagers – Thor. 1000 – 1010 CE

[3rd POV]

In a cottage near a beach, four Eternals were sitting leisurely, enjoying the cold wind of the sea. They were watching two teenagers, running back and forth, from the end of the beach to another, gasping for air as they ran.

“Come on! 500 more laps!” shouted Thena loudly. “Is this the Asgardians’ strength?! Pathetic!”

The blond boy, who was Thor, clenched his fist hard, angry that Thena mocked his race.

“This is all your fault!” said Loki while gasping for air, trying to not pass out. “If you weren't so arrogant, we wouldn't be doing this every morning!”

“Shut up!” said Thor with gritted teeth. “I’ll show them the strength of Asgardians!”

Thor then screamed on top of his lungs, and dashed forward, fastening his step.

Big mistake.

A couple hundred of laps later, Thor was now laying on the ground, gasping for air, and he could barely move. Unfortunately, he didn’t finish the laps.

Meanwhile, Loki was still going, as he was still a couple hundred of laps away. He was tired, but it was manageable.

Thena then stood up, making the others smirked. She walked towards the almost-passed out Thor, and looked at him from above, as if he was an ant.

“Is the future king of Asgard this foolish?” she questioned sternly. “This is not a race, it is a test of endurance, and you ran as fast as you could.”

Thena then kicked Thor’s stomach lightly, but it was still painful, making Thor groan in pain. “Get up, you get 500 laps more.”

“N-No, please a-auntie, I give up…” Thor pleaded, tired as hell.

“No.” said Thena coldly. “Get up.”

Thor then looked at Kingo pitifully, who was walking towards him. “Uncle Kingo… please… save me…”

Kingo laughed. “Come on Thena, it’s the first week, let him off a little.”

Thena raised her eyebrows to Kingo, then looked at Thor.

She then sighed. “Fine.”  she said, making Thor’s eyes shine with happiness. But then all of that was crushed. “But you will have more time for fighting training.”

Thor’s face turned pale as he heard it, and gulped. He looked at Kingo again, but he just shrugged.

Thor really wants to see his mother now…

After Loki had finished the lap, Sprite walked up to him. “Good job, young man.” she said in a bossy tone.

Loki was weirded out that a little girl called him ‘young man’, but didn’t say anything, because he didn’t want to be like Thor…

“Thanks…” he murmured.

Sprite nodded. “Right, you can rest now, this is Thor’s day.”

“Thor’s day?” he questioned.

Sprite smirked. “You don’t want to know.”

Loki gulped. “C-Can I watch it?”

“If you want to watch, you have to join,” said Sprite. She then patted Loki’s head. “Don’t worry, you have your own day.”

Loki gulped again. But then, a shout came from Kingo. “Don’t get too full of yourself Sprite, you still look like a kid!”

Sprite then grumbled, and flipped Kingo. “Anyway, you should get inside, Thor’s training will begin soon.”

Loki just nodded vigorously, and ran towards the shack.

Thena was now standing in front of a scared Thor. The boy was holding a sword and a shield, preparing himself.

“You’ve been trained before?” questioned Thena.

“Trained since I was a kid,” said Thor. “With all kinds of weapons.”

“Yet you’re this bad…” murmured Thena, making Thor’s eyebrow twitch.

Thena then conjured her spear, and slammed it on the ground, making the ground shake a little. “Try to hit me then.” she said, taunting Thor.

Thor frowned, he then charged at Thena, screaming at the top of his lungs.

“ARGHH!!”

Thena looked baffled. Really? Screaming? Thor then raised his sword, and wanted to slash Thena. But, the goddess just stepped away, and hit Thor in the back using the blunt side of the spear.

“Good stance, but really? Screaming?” questioned Thena in amusement. “You’re not a berserker Thor, you’re a prince.”

Thor just ignored her, and he quickly changed his position, before attempting to slash Thena again.

Thena hummed as Thor moved, then, she conjured her shield and blocked Thor’s attack, making a loud sound that vibrates around the area.

“Really? Only this strong?” Thena was not amused. “Are you sure you’re an Asgardian? You can’t even kill a deviant with this.”

Thena then kicked him in the stomach, throwing him away a couple of metres, and making Thor enter the water, soaking wet. “Is this the strength of the Prince of Asgard? You said you want to be king, right? You compare yourself to your father? Pathetic.” spat Thena, mocking Thor again and again.

Thor was gritting his teeth. He stood, his body soaked in water, his hand was clenching his sword tightly, and stared at Thena angrily.

Then, the clouds around them suddenly turned dark. Thunder rumbled as Thor was walking closer and closer towards Thena. His body was generating small amounts of electricity, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough for combat.

Pluto, who was watching the battle, was amused. Ghidorah then possessed him, and controlled the weather around him, making him quite sunny again.

“Rather amusing trick you got there, kid.” Pluto scoffed. “What are you? Weather wizard?”

Thor was actually surprised with his own power. He didn’t know he could do that…

“I… how did I do that?” he murmured.

Thena then nodded, and deconjured her weapons. “Anger triggers most of the powers. Your father said that you have something inside you, you just need to activate it. Seems like it worked.”

“W-What was that?” questioned Thor, he seemed excited.

Pluto then walked to him while chuckling. “Congratulations kid, you’re a wizard.”
