Chapter 220: Chapter 220: Susanoo
"Wanda, give it a try. I swear it's good stuff."
Han Yu walked toward Wanda, holding a bottle of eye drops. But instead of complying, she let out a scream and bolted to the side.
"No way! That's disgusting! I'm not putting eye drops made from someone else's eyes into mine!" Wanda darted around Galacta, using her as a shield to evade Han Yu.
"They're not from someone else's eyes! No one has ever used them!" Han Yu chased after Wanda, repeatedly explaining that his eye drop ingredients had never been used before.
With so many things in the general store, getting a few unused Sharingan eyes was easy. If all the eyes he used had previous owners, he'd have to slaughter half the Uchiha clan.
"I don't care if no one's used them! It's still terrifying! Why don't you use them yourself?" Wanda remained firm in her refusal. After all, Han Yu was still human—his behavior completely shattered her worldview.
Even in the Sanctum Sanctorum, where she had seen countless bizarre things, she had never encountered anyone using eyeballs as alchemy ingredients. Very few people could accept something this strange.
"Come on, what's so scary about it? Fine, I'll show you!"
With that, Han Yu stopped, opened the bottle cap, tilted his head back, and let a few drops fall into his own eyes. He squinted as the liquid took effect.
"You're actually doing it?!" Wanda thought he had been joking. Seeing him go through with it, she gasped and ran toward him, ready to help clean his eyes.
But in the next moment, Han Yu slowly opened his eyes. His once normal black-and-white pupils were now flooded with a deep crimson that spread outward. Within a single breath, both his eyes turned completely red, looking eerie and terrifying.
Then, thin black rings appeared in the crimson depths of his irises, followed by tiny black tomoe—one, two, three…
But the transformation didn't stop at three. The three tomoe merged into the center of his pupils, shrinking the once-large black pupils into sharp, open red shapes.
The black tomoe had transformed into a six-pointed star, spinning slowly within his eyes.
"Han Yu… are you okay?"
Seeing this bizarre transformation, both Wanda and Galacta felt chills run down their spines. If they didn't know for certain that the person standing before them was Han Yu—and if they weren't convinced he meant them no harm—they would have already gone into full-scale attack mode. In their current state of alarm, anything within a ten-mile radius would have been obliterated.
"I'm fine. What do my eyes look like? Three tomoe? At the very least, there should be two, right?" Han Yu asked. He figured with his abilities, he should at least awaken a two-tomoe Sharingan.
Unlike in the Naruto world, where a Sharingan upgrade required experiencing intense emotional pain, Han Yu could increase his ocular power simply by using the Sharingan more or by enhancing his overall strength.
Since the eyes were part of him, as he grew stronger, so would his Sharingan. It wasn't like other external power sources, such as Hyōrinmaru or the Haotian Hammer—his Sharingan would evolve alongside him naturally.
Hearing his question, Wanda and Galacta had no idea what the six-pointed star meant. They assumed it was a relatively low-level form.
Galacta even tried to console him, saying, "Don't be discouraged, Han Yu. I'm sure you'll reach three tomoe soon. This six-pointed star already looks pretty good!"
Since Han Yu had mentioned three tomoe, Galacta instinctively assumed the more markings an eye had, the stronger it was. So, in her mind, three tomoe must be better than a single six-pointed star.
"Oh, it's fine. One is—wait, what did you just say? A six-pointed star?!"
Han Yu waved his hand dismissively at first, not thinking much of it. But then it hit him. What did Galacta just say? His eyes had a six-pointed star?!
Realizing this, Han Yu raised his hand, summoning a mirror using Green Lantern energy. When he saw his reflection, he froze in place.
Wanda, thinking Han Yu had wanted to show off but failed, reassured him, "Yeah, Galacta's right! This six-pointed star actually looks way cooler!"
"Holy… shit!"
Han Yu couldn't hold back and cursed aloud. This wasn't something to be disappointed about—this was huge!
A six-pointed star in the Sharingan had a specific name: the Mangekyō Sharingan—the fourth level above the one-, two-, and three-tomoe stages.
Typically, anyone who awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan could leave ordinary shinobi in the dust, becoming an absolute powerhouse.
Han Yu never expected to awaken a high-level Sharingan. He had only intended to give Wanda a simple demonstration. Even if he had only unlocked a two-tomoe Sharingan, he wouldn't have minded. But he never imagined that he would directly leap to the Mangekyō Sharingan.
"This six-pointed star… it's above the three-tomoe stage," Han Yu exhaled deeply and said.
"Huh? It's that powerful?"
Wanda and Galacta exchanged glances, realizing they had completely misunderstood. They had assumed this was a low-level form of the Sharingan, but it turned out to be far more advanced. All that worrying had been for nothing.
"Let's give it a try," Han Yu chuckled. After briefly explaining the Mangekyō Sharingan to them, he saw their stunned expressions and murmured under his breath, "Susanoo!"
As soon as the words left his mouth, a whooshing sound echoed around him. A surge of purple chakra erupted from his body, rapidly enveloping him and condensing into a skeletal structure—a half-formed Susanoo, consisting only of an upper torso.
Seeing that his Susanoo had materialized in a half-skeletal form, Han Yu frowned slightly, looking a bit dissatisfied. His eyes flared open, and another burst of purple chakra gushed from his eye sockets.
This time, the chakra output was far greater. The half-formed Susanoo extended downward, solidifying a lower body. At the same time, armor appeared over its skeletal frame, making it look even more solid—like a true warrior.
Unlike the towering Susanoo forms seen in the Naruto world, Han Yu's manifestation wasn't that colossal. Instead, it stood just over two meters tall.
Among the many powerful figures who had summoned Susanoo, his was undoubtedly the smallest.
But despite its size, it didn't seem weak at all. On the contrary, its compact form made every inch of its muscles and armor appear strikingly dense and realistic.
It was as if a living warrior had stepped out before them—radiating an aura of unstoppable might.
"Hmm… not bad, not bad at all!"
Han Yu nodded in satisfaction. Unlike most users who enveloped themselves inside Susanoo, he had chosen to summon it separately in front of him, allowing it to exist as an independent entity.
Forming Susanoo around oneself made chakra flow and control much easier. But summoning it externally, as Han Yu did, required an immense level of chakra mastery.
