Marvel: As Security Guard

Chapter 14: Chapter 14: Giggity Time!

As soon as Shane and Natalie stepped into the restaurant, a middle-aged man with a warm smile greeted them enthusiastically.

"Welcome, you two!"

Shane glanced around the restaurant. Most of the customers were of Korean descent. In fluent and standard Korean, he asked, "Are you the owner of this place?"

Hearing Shane speak, the middle-aged man widened his eyes in surprise. He stared at Shane for two whole seconds before responding, "Yes, I'm the owner. The name 'Jang Ji' comes from my own surname."

Still smiling, the owner added, "If I hadn't seen your face, just hearing you speak, I would've thought I ran into an old friend from home."

Natalie, standing beside Shane, was just as surprised. Her beautiful eyes were filled with astonishment.

As an agent, Natalie naturally understood Korean, but compared to Shane, she was like a grade-schooler still learning to pronounce words properly. She had always thought Korean was the hardest language to learn, without a doubt.

Shane smiled and explained, "I lived there for a while. During that time, I completely fell in love with Korean cuisine. Unfortunately, I've been to several so-called Korean restaurants here, but their food never tastes authentic." His tone carried a hint of regret.

The restaurant owner quickly picked up the conversation, looking excited.

"Haha! Then you've come to the right place today! I started this restaurant because I couldn't stand the Korean food around here either. Don't worry, I'll make sure you get a truly authentic meal today!" He patted his chest with confidence.

After a pleasant chat with the owner—perhaps thanks to Shane's impressive Korean—the man warmly invited them in and even decided to personally cook their meal.

Once they were seated by the window, Natalie, pretending not to understand the earlier conversation, asked, "What were you two talking about?"

"Nothing much. Just chatting about his hometown. He was impressed by my Korean and said he'd cook for us himself."

"Oh? Is that so? I guess I'm lucky to be dining with you today," Natalie teased with a smirk. "But I have to say, I didn't expect your Korean to be this good."

"I used to be a bodyguard. Took on a few jobs over there," Shane explained casually. This was public information that anyone could find out.

Natalie recalled what she had read in Shane's file and confirmed that it checked out. Then, she changed the subject.

"Did you see the news about Stark Industries today?"

"You mean last night's factory incident or our boss publicly admitting he's Iron Man?" Shane's expression remained relaxed. The news was everywhere—he had even overheard people discussing it on their way here.

"My colleagues say the factory incident wasn't that simple. Apparently, Stark wasn't the only one there." Natalie spoke with an air of gossip, secretly observing Shane's reaction. But Shane didn't seem to care at all.

"Oh? Didn't the news mention his bodyguard was there too? Our security department hasn't heard much, except that several factory guards were badly injured."

Before Natalie could press further, an enticing aroma drifted from the kitchen.

"What is that smell? It's amazing!" Natalie's train of thought was instantly derailed.

Shane took a deep breath, savoring the fragrance, then smugly declared, "That, my dear, is the scent of real Korean food."

Natalie instinctively closed her eyes, her little nose twitching as she greedily inhaled the delicious aroma.

After they finished their meal, the restaurant owner personally walked them out, shaking Shane's hand warmly.

"If you ever want to eat authentic Korean food, feel free to bring your girlfriend here anytime."

"Uh…"

Shane glanced at Natalie awkwardly.

Natalie, cheeks slightly flushed, looked back at him. The owner had spoken in English this time—so there was no pretending not to understand.

Seeing Natalie's shy and charming expression, Shane could only smile at the owner, playing along like a young man whose feelings had just been exposed.

After saying their goodbyes, the two returned to their apartment in Queens. This time, there was no Aunt May to interrupt them, and Natalie once again invited Shane into her place.

As Shane stepped into her apartment, he took a quick look around.

'So, this is what a spy's apartment looks like? Not bad—plenty of gear, and the setup actually feels pretty homey.'

"I only have whiskey and red wine. Which one do you want?" Natalie called out, gesturing for him to sit on the couch. She raised an eyebrow playfully as she asked the question.

"Whiskey. On the rocks."

Nodding, Natalie turned and walked into the kitchen. As she poured the whiskey over ice, she also reached for her gear, hidden in a compartment on the wall. Securing the device onto her wrist, she picked up the drinks, put on a sultry smile, and sashayed back into the living room.

Ever since they had left the restaurant, she had already made up her mind.

After all this time observing Shane, she had yet to find anything suspicious about him. Even his exceptional combat skills could be explained by his past as a bodyguard.

But her former boss insisted that Shane was definitely hiding something. Since she couldn't get any useful information out of him through conversation, she had no choice but to resort to interrogation tactics—something she was particularly skilled at.

"Cheers~"

Natalie handed a glass of whiskey to Shane, who was lounging on the couch. Then, swaying her hips seductively, she sat down beside him. As she sipped her drink, her curvaceous body gradually leaned closer to his.

Feeling the warmth pressing against him—that dangerously soft sensation—Shane took a sharp gulp of his whiskey on the rocks. Squinting, he turned his head slightly to look at Natalie, who was subtly rubbing her breasts against him.

"You do realize you're playing with fire, right missy?"

"I only know that even whiskey with ice isn't enough to cool me down. I wonder… if you can?"

Natalie's eyes were hazy with intoxication as she gazed at Shane. Setting her glass aside, she straddled him, wrapping her arms around his neck. Her breath, laced with the scent of alcohol and her own fragrance, drifted against his face.

"So, should I take this as a challenge?" Shane whispered, nudging the tip of her upturned nose with his own. His breathing grew heavier as he felt her warmth pressing closer, the full curves of her body resting against his lap.

"So, you wanna go downtown?" Natalie teased, continuing to provoke him.

'Damn it. I want her!'

The moment Shane leaned in for a kiss, Natalie subtly twisted her wrist, activating the hidden device she had just strapped on.

Shane felt a faint sensation, like something brushing against the back of his neck—but in this moment, there was no turning back. He ignored it entirely.

As their lips met, Natalie had expected his body to weaken immediately. But instead, Shane only deepened the kiss, growing more aggressive.

'What's going on? Was the device malfunctioning?'

"Wait—"

"Too late. It's Giggity time!"

Any thought of resistance was instantly overpowered.

"Mmfh—!"

Whatever Natalie wanted to say next was completely silenced by Shane's lips. What followed was a tons of pounding and moans.
