Chapter 6190: Tianjian Qingyuan

Song Changsheng was still staring into the depths of space.

Oblivious to him, many eyes were staring back at him from the depths of space. 

There was a hidden realm some distance away from Song Changsheng. This realm was vast and overflowing with vitality, but all the buildings and plants here gave off an intense aura of the Ancient Era, as if this place had existed since the Ancient Era.

There was an observation formation in this realm, and a crowd gathered before it. There were men and women in the mix, though most of them were on the older side. The youngest of them looked middle-aged.

All of them were dressed in white cloaks, and their waist tokens were inscribed with the words ‘Heavensword Sacred Palace’.

The leader of the group was an old woman with a wrinkly face. Her eyes carried the vicissitudes of life, reflecting her rich life experience. She commanded a powerful disposition. It felt like she would have been beautiful in her younger years.

An old man standing behind the old woman asked, “Palace Master, that person has been looking at us. Has he not given up yet?” 

His worry-filled words inadvertently revealed the old woman’s identity—the Heavensword Sacred Palace’s Palace Master. 

“Lord Qingyuan is here. What’s there to worry about?” the Palace Master said.

Everyone reflexively turned to look in the same direction. 

There was a cluster of white jade palaces in the clouds. All of them were uniquely designed to fit in with the clouds, making them look like true celestial palaces. 

There was a conspicuous white jade tower that rose above other structures.

On it stood the white-robed woman who had just crossed blows with Song Changsheng. Light-blue eyeballs had re-manifested in her previously vacuous eyes. She was no longer looking at Calmlake Upper Realm but the Immemorial Massacre Sea. 

Those from the Heavensword Sacred Palace knew the weight she carried.

She was lauded as the most talented junior of the Heavensword Sacred Palace in the Ancient Era, Tianjian Qingyuan. Naturally, that made her older than everyone else here, including their incumbent palace master. 

Even though the incumbent palace master was already tens of thousands of years old, she was born in the present era. On the other hand, Tianjian Qingyuan lived from the Ancient Era to the present era.

The Heavensword Sacred Palace was initially unaware that Tianjian Qingyuan was still alive, and they only found out about it during the opening of God’s Era.  

The Heavensword Sacred Palace had also intended to enter God’s Era to compete for the fortuitous encounters lying in wait there, but Tianjian Qingyuan suddenly appeared then and dissuaded them from doing so. 

Following that, she brought them here. 

They initially thought this was just a larger formation space, but as time passed, they began to realize this wasn’t just a formation space. Everything here was too lifelike; they couldn’t detect any lapses in the details. 

It was truly a hidden universe amidst the vast world of cultivation.

Not only was the concentration of natural energies here several times higher, but the natural energies here felt fundamentally different. If they had to describe it, it would be that it was ‘not restrained’. 

Shortly after arriving here, many of their sectmembers, despite having reached a bottleneck in their cultivation, suddenly succeeded in making a breakthrough. 

The difference wasn’t just limited to the natural energies. 

The world of cultivation was always brilliant and vibrant. It inspired hope, motivating one to achieve higher levels in their cultivation. 

This space contained many realms too, but it was scarily desolate. It was dark and lacked life. 

If the world of cultivation was the mortal world, this place would be the netherworld.

It was ironic how this dead space contained such a high concentration of natural energies and precious herbs that they had only read about in historical records. It was like a massive treasure vault that they couldn’t see the end of. 

But their Heavensword Sacred Palace contained no records about this place. 

They had once asked Tianjian Qingyuan where they were. She shook her head and warned them never to explore the depths of this place.

Just staring into the depths of this space piqued their unease and raised their goosebumps, but they didn’t think there was anything to fear as long as Tianjian Qingyuan was around.

She was powerful. Due to her, they even began preparing to conquer the world of cultivation. No one in the world could stop them as long as Tianjian Qingyuan was around. 

Because of her, they even began making plans to conquer the world of cultivation. 

But their ambitions began to waver in recent days.

A woodcutter had suddenly appeared out of nowhere and clashed with Tianjian Qingyuan. Having witnessed the battle in person, they knew how terrifying that man was.

Much to their disbelief, Tianjian Qingyuan told them that man was a present-era cultivator. How could there be such a terrifying individual among the present-era cultivator?

Seeing that Song Changsheng still wasn’t leaving, an old man worriedly asked via voice transmission, “Palace Master, is it possible that Lord Tingyuan isn’t a match for that man?”

“Audacious!” 

The Palace Master glared at the old man. Any statements that made light of their ancestor were blasphemy to her. Such rhetoric couldn’t be permitted. 

The old man realized he had misspoken and quickly backed off with a lowered head. 

“Continue observing the situation here. Report to me if anything happens.”

The Palace Master rose into the air and flitted toward Tianjian Qingyuan’s palace. She stopped at the entrance and bowed.

“This junior wishes to meet Lord Qingyuan.”

“Come up,” Tianjian Qingyuan impassively replied.

The Palace Master rose to the air and made her way to the tower Tianjian Qingyuan was on. When she saw that Tianjian Qingyuan was still observing the situation, she held her tongue lest she disturbed the latter. She was as obedient as a servant. 

“Worried about him?” Tianjian Qingyuan asked.

“I have nothing to worry about when Lord Qingyuan is here, but are we going to ignore him?” the Palace Master carefully asked.

“Did I ignore him?” Tianjian Qingyuan replied.

The Palace Master hurriedly fell to her knees and kowtowed. “Pardon me for my inappropriate words! Please punish me, Lord Qingyuan!”

“Why would I punish you? Get up,” Tianjian Qingyuan said.

Her eyes didn’t stray from the Immemorial Massacre Sea during this conversation, and she remained extremely calm, devoid of any emotions. Yet, the Palace Master dared not rise.

“Is there anything else?” Tianjian Qingyuan asked.

“Lord Qingyuan, I think it would be better for you to be the Palace Master…”

Before she could finish her sentence, Tianjian Qingyuan interjected, “Don’t mention this ever again. I have no interest. Also, you don’t have to be so uptight around me. I am not that callous, and I abhor such formalities.”

The Palace Master finally rose to her feet. Perhaps trying to heed Tianjian Qingyuan’s words, she walked to the latter’s side and looked in the direction of the Immemorial Massacre Sea too. However, her cultivation was too low to see what was there without relying on treasures.

Thus, she asked, “Lord Qingyuan, what’s in the Immemorial Massacre Sea?”

“I can’t see through it,” Tianjian Qingyuan replied.

The Palace Master was taken aback. “There are things in the world of cultivation that Lord Qingyuan is unable to see through?”

She knew how formidable Tianjian Qingyuan’s eyes were. It was one thing for her to be unable to see through God’s Era—not a single person in the Ancient Era had been able to see through it—but it was hard to believe that she couldn’t see through the Immemorial Massacre Sea too.

But Tianjian Qingyuan added, “It’s not just the Immemorial Massacre Sea. I can’t see through the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion either.”

The Palace Master was astounded. 

Tianjian Qingyuan suddenly turned to look at the Ancestral Martial Galaxy. “That place is even more unfathomable for me.”
