Waiting outside the government building, Azer Karuza, the principal of Karuza High, was anxiously checking his watch.

At that moment, his daughter, Julia, walked out from the building with a sweet smile on her beautiful face.

"How did it go?"

Azer asked.

"I got rejected."

Julia said with a giggle.

"Oh… You don't seem detected?"

Azer asked with a wry smile, took his daughter's hand, and started trotting away from the government building.

"I expected as much. I am only Martial Fighter. There is no way that I would be chosen out of all people."

Julia said.

She didn't feel bad about being rejected from selection rounds of the World Martial Arts Draft, as it was something she expected.

Thus, she treated this as a vacation with her father.

"Well, should we get some ice cream, or do you want to go check out the beach first?"

Azer asked.

"Both!"

Julia said with a smile and then curiously tapped her chin before asking.

"I wonder if Kiernan has already arrived here… He has the best chance from New Rakuya to become chosen, right?"

"Yeah, I wonder."

Azer said.

When they found out that Kiernan dropped out of school, they were godsmacked and horrified, as was everyone in Karuza High.

They didn't think that they could win anything without the help of Kiernan, but they participated in Spring Invitationals, and they won against the best schools of the nation.

It was because Julian was there, but even Julia and their new fighters had shown amazing talent.

There had been several Martial Fighters appearing in their school, and it seemed as if there was another one every week.

Their future looked really bright, and they understood Kiernan's reasoning for leaving since New Rakuya was too small for him.

"I wonder if he gets chosen. It would sure be amazing."

Julia said with a smile.

Azer looked at his daughter with a gentle look and saw the slight pain in her eyes of having to give up on her love.

It was obvious to him that his daughter harbored feelings towards Kiernan, but he didn't seem to share those feelings, as he found someone else.

It was a bittersweet moment of having to give up on first love, which Azer was very familiar with, as even he failed during his first love encounter.

'For humanity… I am afraid that becoming one of the seven representatives of humanity is too big of an obstacle for even Kiernan to overcome.

'To think that just a few years ago, he waltzed in the school hallways, without anyone even knowing him.

'Sigh, sigh, indeed.'

"Low Stage Martial Master…"

The black-suited man looked at Julian's handsome self, who was still holding the ball.

"You met the requirements to compete in the first selection; congratulations."

The black-suited man handed him a card, which Julian looked at silently, and then with a nod, stepped out of the building.

While walking on the sidewalk, Julian checked everyone who had been accepted into the first selection on the government webpage.

He scrolled down, expecting to see Kiernan there, but when he reached the bottom, a frown appeared on his face as he didn't find any more.

It was still only the third day during the first test, which would take about a week, so he still had plenty of time.

'He must be coming… right?'

Julian pocketed his phone, looked ahead, and saw a crowd of people heading his way, and it looked like there was no room for him to walk.

He thought about crossing the street, but there were cars roaming past him with each passing second.

"Sigh…"

With a deep sigh, Julian started smoking impure smoke, his eyes glazed over, and he weaved past the crowd of people without touching any of them.

Flow State!

He finished walking past the crowd of people and forcefully stopped Flow State, and the smoke of impurities disappeared in the air around.

Before, he wasn't able to stop Flow State whenever he wanted to, but he had learned to control it and was now master of it.

It spoke volumes of his insane talent, and now that his martial soul was fully fixed as well, he'd been able to break through ranks without much problem.

In terms of talent, it wasn't farfetched to say that he was equal to Kiernan, if not greater!

"Mmh~"

A brunette girl wearing twintails licked an ice cream while she walked on the sidewalk, and everyone who looked at her thought of her as adorable.

She looked younger than most, about fifteen years old, and it was odd seeing her walk here alone.

They all thought she would walk past the government building, but no, she walked right inside.

"Umm, girl, are you lost?"

The woman receptionist asked with a gentle tone.

"This is the World Martial Arts Draft office, correct?"

The girl asked with the ice cream in hand, which was slowly melting into her hand, and thus, she rapidly licked it.

"Yes…"

The receptionist said with a confused look.

"I am here to participate!"

The girl said with a smile.

Everyone in the waiting room just shook their heads at her, thinking that she was just wasting everyone's time.

"Excuse me, but only those who've received draft notices are allowed to enter the testing."

The receptionist said with a wry smile.

"I received one!"

She pulled out her phone and showed the email of the draft notice, and the receptionist looked genuinely surprised.

'What the hell is the government thinking about sending a draft notice to her?!'

The receptionist screamed inside her mind, nodded awkwardly at the young girl, and gave her papers to sign.

With one hand holding the ice cream and another holding the pen, she quickly scribbled her signature and handed the papers back to the receptionist.

"Please enter…"

She said, pointing at the door next to her, and the adorable girl entered, but before stepping through the doorway, she swallowed the ice cream in all its entirety.

"Ah… Brain freeze!"

She grabbed her head, moaned in pain, and with an uncomfortable look, entered the room.

"What the hell is this now…"

The black-suited man said with an almost depressing-sounding voice and looked at the young girl, thinking this must be some kind of joke.
