Mei POV

I want to do a check up on myself but I can't, I'm fully booked this week.

A staff member advise me to get a check up, I simply told her my reasons why I had to delay the appointment with my doctor.

Opening the office door, I suddenly felt dizzy.

"Miss.Mei if this is a trick you're pulling, just stop it. I wo.... gi....u.....tomorrow". Each words he uttered became faint. I tried to arrange the words but it didn't add up.

Why is everything spinning?. Everywhere became dark and that's how I lost consciousness.

"Beep~Beep~Beep". The sound of the hospital holter monitor.

"Arugh my head hurts". I said holding my head.

"Please ma'am, you're not allowed to sit up right for the next 1hr". A nurse on pink said.

"Why I'm I hear". I asked when it hit me that I might have collapsed due to all the stress. Ahh I need to attend the family meeting tomorrow.

"I'll be able to get discharge today right?". I asked.

"Ma'am you can but I'll advise you to be more careful on your health issues, mostly with a baby on the way". The nurse said, dropping the trail of food I didn't notice she had.

"Hold, did you just said a baby on the way?". That's silly.

"Oh, u mean a baby's on the way to see me". I'm just trying to lie to myself.

"No Miss, you're pregnant". The nurse watched as my face turn pale before I collapsed again.

I can't have a child when I don't even know the father.

Jung POV

I waited anxiously outside Mei's ward. I saw the doctor who was attending to Mei walking out of the room, I rushed to him to tell me the state that She was in.

"Doctor how is she". Asked

"She's fine actually". He said with a smile and his face.

"These are challenges most women face during the early stage". What does he mean by early stage.

"Please explain". I want a clearer explanation.

"She's a month pregnant". He said patting me and the back before walking away.

I was still in daze.

I was her first and last week Saturday, makes a month since that incident. She doesn't even know the man she slept with was me.

"Sigh... I need to see her first".

I walked into the room where she was placed in, only to see her absent mindedly staring at the Celine.

"Mei". I reach out to touch her hands. Immediately she saw me, she burst into tears.

"I don't....ngh... know the father and I-I can't tell my Dad". She sobbed in my hands.

What am I to do. I can't just say

'I'm the father, I had sex with you when you were drugged and at thesame time, being quite is dispeakable

"Shh it will be alright". She stopped her movement and looked at me for some minutes.

"Why are you comforting me". She asked me with a look of suspicions in her eyes.

"Because, it is my duty to care for every staff member and you collapsed within the company". I came up with a quick excuse. Normally, I would have allowed someone else take Care of it all but she's my top priority now.
