Mage Legend

Chapter 625: Legend and Legend in Legends Chapter Three Release

After a night passed, the morning sunlight inappropriately shone directly into Lynch's eyes, bringing with it the awakening bright white and the sleep-inducing warmth. The mage was quite baffled as to what intentions this bright thing in the sky harbored—was it reminding him that time was short and he should promptly start a new day, or was it encouraging him to indulge more in the soft bed?

He was now half asleep, half awake, surrounded by chaos, with quite a few "suspicious" smells still lingering in the room. The mage remembered the events of the previous night very clearly—perhaps it was because his long-term willpower training had improved his alcohol tolerance? However, now the mage wished he had just gotten drunk so he could have a more tactful excuse for the "crazy actions" in Zilvra's words.

The female drow had already left the room, but her armor was still hanging there; she would return soon. Lynch sat up from the bed, a simple spell could clean the entire room without leaving a trace. The mage did not do so immediately but instead silently admired the chaos with some unusual satisfaction. When gentle footsteps came from the stairs outside, Zilvra's yawn carried a sense of contentment, and Lynch finally stood up to use the spell.

"Oh, my dear mage, you're already up." Zilvra's face still blushed a bit, though she would claim it was caused by the warm morning sun. "It seems like you recovered well, finally had a good sleep, right?"

Lynch donned his mage robe, the torn part on his shoulder could only be repaired in the magic laboratory. Lynch could not help but wonder how strong Zilvra was to tear up magic equipment? He smoothed out the creases on the clothes a bit and said, "If it's about the sleep itself, I'm afraid I only rested three or four hours." He walked over to Zilvra, gently disentangling the knots in the female drow's silver-white hair with his hands, murmuring: "But it was a great sleep."

Zilvra patted Lynch's cheek lightly, her eyes continuously radiating passion, yet it was merely a cover for the drow's cunning wisdom. She said, "I am quite pleased with your performance last night, but that does not make up for your mistake—leaving quietly three years ago. Remember in Latris, how you must swear in my presence, to show loyalty?"

"Oh, Zilvra, that was a guarantee, not an oath—though I will treat it as an oath to fulfill." Lynch's eyes suddenly turned pure black, regaining the ability of the Eye of Insight. "Zilvra, what happened during the time I was gone?"

"Oh? Young human mage, do I need to explain it to you in detail?" Zilvra pressed closely against Lynch's chest, and then mischievously slipped away like a little cat. She bounced over and lay on the large bed in the room, taking a deep breath: "Advisor, I want to continue resting now, thank you for cleaning the room. If you need anything, that skeleton will tell you. Hehe, I believe he remembers everything very clearly from the past three years."

"I will go." Lynch picked up the powerful wand that had been left in the corner, turned to look at Zilvra in her lazy appearance, and sighed: "Having to find that bag of bones first thing in the morning, just thinking about it is somewhat disheartening."

Zilvra glared at the mage, seemingly not believing those words came from Lynch's mouth. Though abrupt, Zilvra did not dislike such words. She threw down a sentence, "Norton locked that guy in the dungeon of the All-Knowing Tower, you will find him."

Lynch floated down from the room on his own, landing gently at the base of the Central Tower. Norton was waiting for the mage at the door, the sunlight shining in from behind the demon statue, slightly dazzling. Norton stepped aside, silently following alongside Lynch. When a lot of information needs to be clarified, communicating directly through the mind is much quicker than verbal explanation.

"Norton! What did you say? That tiger defeated the witch demon?" Lynch placed the back of his hand on the demon statue's body, like checking the high temperature on a fevered forehead. Lynch looked at Norton with surprise, exclaiming: "This is indeed the most unbelievable thing I've heard."

"In fact, it wasn't just a tiger." Norton touched his own head, the spot just felt by the mage: "Norton thinks, there can't just be an ordinary tiger in the secret space of the Elf Kingdom. Norton has looked through a lot of materials, but hasn't found a creature like it."
