Chapter 613: Travel and Travel Beyond Chapter Seventy-Three Return (Part 1)_3

Lynch moved to the side, almost without stopping, casting a second spell. "Stone to Mud!" This spell for altering matter had long been mastered by him, with impeccable precision and control. Right at the spot where the Abyss Demon stepped forward to maintain balance, Lynch created a deep and soft swamp.

Banaya stepped into the void, and his wings couldn't provide enough lift in an instant. Inevitably, his massive body fell to the ground, leaving deep cracks even on the hard stone surface. The scene was like a large tree struck by lightning, ultimately crashing down amidst flames and thick smoke. Lynch leisurely moved to the side, just out of the range of Banaya's falling body, avoiding being crushed underneath.

"It seems you rejected my proposal." Lynch said to the giant shadow in front of him, "Though your way of refusing is quite novel, it indeed carries that meaning. However, even if you won't help, your master will."

After Banaya fell, he seemed to fall silent, motionless with his eyes hidden. The mage's voice was right next to his ear, but he gave no response. Just as Lynch's last word was barely out of his mouth, the Abyss Demon suddenly flipped, reaching out with a huge hand to grab the mage.

"A spellcaster has approached! Die!"

The crackling sound came from the devil's hand, but there was nothing between its fingers. Lynch disappeared without a trace and then reappeared on the other side of the Abyss Demon's body. Because of the backlash from the enormous impact, Banaya's entire hand was twitching, the pin-prick-like pain making it difficult for him to muster strength.

"I suggest you stop resisting; it's pointless." The mage's tone remained calm and unhurried, "The space around here is sealed, and the teleportation gate can't help you escape. Your flames or those summoned meteors and evil shadows pose no threat to me. As for invisibility and spiritual control, Banaya, I'm undoubtedly more adept than you."

The Abyss Demon exerted force with both hands and feet, propelling himself into midair. His wings flapped fiercely, trying to fly away from here as fast as possible. The mage looked up, and his voice finally had a hint of admiration, "Smart, trusting what I said, and reacting quickly."

'Just need to rise a little higher to leave the sealed space! How large can that spell's range be?' The Abyss Demon didn't let his eyes leave the mage's body, watching his every move. But because of this, he ignored the commotion above. A massive shadow pressed down, mercilessly trampling on the fiery wings. Banaya didn't even have time to cry out before crashing back down to the ground.

"Who calls my name?" A deafening voice erupted from the gigantic figure, seemingly carrying volcanic fury. The shockwave from the air blast shook the entire Bronze Fortress; in an instant, all the flags fluttered wildly—both in submission and to complement the majesty.

"Bel, I call you with your true name." Lynch replied, "I demand your service."

The lord of the first layer of Bator leaned down, only then seeing the tiny human figure. He lifted a foot, wanting to squash this annoying insect. Lynch's lips moved, seemingly without any sound, but Bel could hear every word the mage said because the human was speaking the true name of the Hell Lord.

Bel ultimately didn't step down, for he was not confident he could completely annihilate this mysterious guy in one blow. Provoking someone who possesses his true name would be akin to suicide. He vented all his pent-up rage on Banaya, the grand duke at his feet, heavily crushing the Abyss Demon's arm.

"Speak, human!" Bel repressed his fury while crushing another arm of Banaya, merely wanting to push the Abyss Demon's cries back into his lungs. He looked at the mage and said, "What do you want?"

"Eryies, Powerful Wand." Lynch replied softly, "Additionally, I present you with a prisoner."

"I can do it in a very short time." Bel said, "But as for this prisoner, it would be cleaner to kill outright."

"I don't wish for his swift death, nor do I want him to endure a bit of torment and then find relief." Lynch shook his head, "I want him to live in eternal suffering, yet with glimmers of hope. Apart from maintaining his last breath with illusions, let him suffer perpetually."

Bel said nothing, just nodded quietly.

"Now, bring Eryies to me…" Lynch thought for a moment and changed his mind, "Better yet, you take me to see. I want to know what you have done."
