Chapter 16: Chapter 16 New journey

"No, Hazel, stop dreaming. That is not possible," she told herself. "It is not like he does not have his own parents."
Hazel sighed deeply and began walking. After a few minutes, she noticed a temple ahead and decided to enter, hoping to find a place to sleep for the night. She resolved to endure the pain for just a little longer. "This is my last year of high school," she thought. "Once I get to college, everything will be different."

HAZEL'S HOUSE
"Do you think Hazel will be okay by herself?" her father asked with a concerned expression.
"Of course she will. She is not a child," Amanda mother replied. "You do not need to worry about her. She can take care of herself. Right now, your focus should be on your business trip tomorrow. It is time to sleep and stop overthinking."
Reluctantly, Hazel's father nodded, though the worry lingered in his heart.

THE NEXT MORNING
Hazel woke up peacefully and got ready for school. The night before, she had met a kind woman at the temple who had given her some clothes to wear so that she can wear her uniform to school the next day. After taking a bath in the temple's bathroom, Hazel dressed neatly and began her thirty-minute walk to school.
As soon as she arrived, her best friend, Jasmine, greeted her enthusiastically. Together, they walked into the classroom.
Days passed quickly, and the students began preparing for their final high school exams. Hazel had been working part-time jobs and saving money for college. She was determined to achieve success on her own, without relying on her parents.

"What?" Zamiel's face lit up with anger.
"Yes, that is final," his father said firmly.
"Dad, please think about it twice! Why do you want me to study abroad?"
"I just want you to become one of the best businessmen in the country. When you return, you will take over my entertainment company," his father replied, walking away without sparing him another glance.

SEVEN YEARS LATER
The alarm blared.
"GARAM GARAM!"
"Oh my God, will this alarm shut up already?" Hazel groaned. Her hand reached out to silence her phone, and the screen lit up, showing the time: 7:00 a.m. Hazel's eyes widened in shock. "I am going to be late!"
She quickly dressed and rushed out the door. A sleek blue car pulled up in front of The Star Entertainment Company, and Hazel stepped out. Dressed in a blue trouser with a white shirt putting a blue suit jacket on it with her black high heels, she looked every bit the professional. Her golden hair cascaded down her back, untamed but elegant, as she walked confidently into the building.
"Good morning, ma'am," the employees greeted her as she strode past.
Hazel entered the office labeled "DIRECTOR'S OFFICE" and closed the door behind her. She removed her suit jacket, leaving only her crisp white shirt, and sank into her chair, ready to face the day ahead.
