Love in the virtual air

I eagerly got ready for my date with Qin liang. I can't believe I'm actually gonna meet him today; I hope nothing goes wrong. Days had passed its finally the day I long anticipated. I wore a black dress with heels, jewellery and packed my hair in a sleek bun.

I was ready for my date as I left my house. It's a relief mum has gone out to gossip with her friends. After a short walk I reached Romeo and Juliet restaurant. I gazed out at seat 24 through the window and saw a man it should be Qin liang, right? I was about to walk in when someone grabbed me by the hair. 'Ahh'.

"What do you think you're doing here" From that voice I knew it was

"Mom" what is she doing here

"It's just too shameful to be at this restaurant without a partner. Why do you want to eat here of all places. This is an expensive restaurant and it's for couples. There are other restaurants out there, aren't there. You're only allowed to come here with a partner. Now go back home. Shoo" She scolded like I was a bird.

"What are you doing here, mom!"

"It's none of your business. Go find a partner first!"

"But mum...." She just shook her head as she signalled me to go back.

Sorry, Qin liang. Why is it that something always comes up when we want to meet. At least I saw the side of his face. I smiled in satisfaction as I made my way back home.

"Xiao Yue!" I heard someone shout my name from afar, I squinted my eyes as the person came closer

"Oh! Rui Bei" I looked around and was shocked as to not seeing Yi Xi. "Where's Yi Xi".

She shook her head before replying "She still has some work to do since we were both forced to help you when you were absent. That godly angel that spoke to crazy boss on your behalf, you should really thank. If it weren't for him, you would've been fired"

Hearing those words of Rui Bei made me surprised and at the same time guilty.

"Wait! What!! I wasn't told, how did he have access to my phone, tell me all the details don't skip any".

"Ok, I'll start from the beginning. The crazy boss called you countless times but you didn't pick up. He got really frustrated and tried calling you again then a man answered. After a long talk with the man, the crazy boss heart suddenly softened and he gave you a break from work. That guy should really be a public figure."

Hmm…. That makes sense I was wondering why crazy boss gave me a break. Now I feel really bad.

"Oh! You don't really look good. Want a match! Should I call the star team members?" she eagerly asked but I shook my head

"I'm not in the mood" Her eyes widened in surprise as she checked my temperature

"Woah! It's been long I saw you like this. Wanna talk about it?" I nodded before smiling. "Then let's do that over a drink! I'll call Yi Xi" She shouted as she wrapped her hands around my neck.

I was wasted as I told Rui Bei and Yi Xi about everything that had happened from the very beginning.

"Woah! Xiao Yue. You're really patient. For 4 years now you've not seen face to face. Today, you almost saw each other actually you saw the side of his but he didn't see yours all because of your mom. And you're sure its him because you booked seat 24. Why did you choose such an expensive restaurant. I feel like killing you right now." Yi Xi scolded with an angry look on her face as I pouted and sniffed in holding my tears back.

"Woah! did the side of his face look handsome" Rui Bei asked so I nodded as I wailed and Rui Bei joined in.

"Wait Rui Bei why are you also crying" I asked as I sniffed in which made her look at me.

"I don't know" We both continued crying till our eyes got swollen and Yi Xi just kept watching us. Shortly after that I passed out.
