She really look back at me with a smile that seem pretty smile. She had all the time.

' wait me what are you thinking? Keep your head in the game stop speaking with your lower head.'

Pulling myself out of whatever hole, I was trying to dig myself, and I reached my hand for a card.

My hand finally across the top one, as I slowly pulled it back before turning it over.

' it's-it's not the same'

Looking down at the card in my hand, the car was completely different from the one the original Lumian had.

The card that I had picked had a warrior with a sword full of blood and monsters that laid all around him as their bodies were violently mutilated.

Me and her both blank of the card though her blinking made me feel a bit cautious as if she didn't truly feel that this was the card I would be pulling.

" that's strange it should've been...."

Though the rest of her mumble didn't finish in my mind, it seems I wasn't destined to be somebody to fail and come back up like the original Lumian did, since I knew most of his mistakes, and could fix it myself.

' though it does seem like I'm destined to start mutilating and destroying monster so this could represent the dream'

That was currently his hypothesis. It could be the dream that this thing was speaking of that I would slaughter the monsters at work currently in the dream violently.

I didn't let anything discourage mean I had gone the card from her and I had known what was a little bit into the future now or what happened to me once I entered the dream scape.

" thank you mess, but what is the card stand for?"

Her eyes seem to shift to me in disbelief before narrowing her eyes, though it didn't last long before the old smile came back onto her lips. I should begin to explain to me.

" this card means you'll get into mini bottles by yourself, fighting against dangerous beasts, though I must warn you from the look of the card you might even one day become those beasts"

The second her last sentence spoke I felt a trimmer run up my spine. I would become one of those beasts. The thought of it nearly scared me to death.

' I need to keep myself in check when I'm in the dream, especially one fighting against monsters that might have beyonder characteristics'

Giving her a small nod, I was about to walk away, but I felt a hand grasp on to my wrist. As I look back, I saw that she had gone up from her seat and grab my hand.

" you've also been having dreams haven't you"

Faking a look of shark on my face. I looked at her like she had massively pride into a mysterious secret of mine, as my eyes widened in my mouth opened a bit.

" don't worry since you can't walk right now I'll help you a little OK"

I'm not dumb at this before she lets go of my arm as the butler slowly comes in and gives her her food. I turn back around and walk away.

' it seems like I finally got her to recognize me and help me in my dream. I guess we're going to monster hunting today.'

I unconsciously let out a smile, though I also had to watch out not to become one of those monsters I can't fall too far to keep hunting.

As all this was going on, I felt the doors of the tavern rattle open as I move my eyes to that direction I saw three people walk in.

' here we have a mystery guests'

The smile that was once on my face grew even wider as the three gusts from the church slowly walked in.

' should I do with the original Lumian did, and lead them to Guillaume Bénet and let them find out his constant sexual acts'

I begin to slowly think about it it would just make him come after me, though that could also be a good thing I could change him down and ask him questions.

I slowly began to weigh out the pros and cons of my plan before scrapping the idea entirely it would make more trouble than good.

' I already have most of the information, or at least most of the beginner information. I can finish the rest myself, if I have small investigations, since my body is ready, enhanced passively higher than normal human.'

I walk to the trio has a lot of big smile to Blossom on my face.

" hello there my little cabbages"

All three of them looked at me. I could tell the one known as Valentine seem to have a small scale on his face, though to a normal person this was a noticeable, but my enhanced senses it clearly be seen.

" cabbages?"

The bell girl, which I forgot her name, said to me, I am merely gave her, the same smile that I had while walking up as I pulled up a chair next to their table.

" don't worry about the small things what are people that you don't look like you come from the city doing here"

I asked him though, knowing before hand, and knowing a bit of their future, I would need to know them at least a certain amount before going on throughout my mission.

Valentine seemed apprehensive to tell me everything or anything for that matter, as the guy didn't even open his mouth, but it seemed the bell girl, and the other guy that was near him, seem more than happy enough to speak.

" hello my name is Ryan, this man beside me is Valentine, and this woman is Leah"

The man now known as Ryan said, with a small smile on his face, he seem friendly enough, but if I remember correctly he should be connected to the Twilight Giant pathway. If I'm not mistaken, he should also be around sequence six because if I remember correctly, he was able to use the Sword of Dawn.

The next one near him, or the one that I had my eye on the most was Valentine because if I remember correctly he had the ability of the Sun Pathway, and judging by his abilities in the novel, and him being able to create a liquid "Sun" he should be around sequence seven which should be a Solar Priest.

Last, but not least Leah, who I don't remember which pathway she belong to I don't even remember if she used her abilities are not in the novel.

It won't matter, though I will eventually find out her pathway when we start to team up to fight against Guillaume Bénet.

Though, if I remember correctly, she said an oracle helped her find the original Lumian which means she should have a Pathway that strong divination powers.

Judging by how her two friends or either sequence six or sequenced, seven shoe should be close to the range.

' for the pathways that have strong divinations the ones I can remember clearly were the Seer pathway, the Monster pathway, or the Mystery Pryer though I thought she's from the Mystery Pryer since she should've been able to follow the original Lumian instead of relying just on her divinations'

In truth, the only two pathway she could possibly be, or either the Seer or the Monster. From my current memories, I couldn't produce, which one was which I didn't remember every single Pathway, though I remembered the Abilities they used during the fight they had when they were trying to climb the tower.

" well hello there, Mr. Ryan, Leah, and Valentine my name is Lumian How may I help you this evening?"

" oh, we have a gentleman"

Leah seem to retort as she giggled a bit in her hands Ryan and smiled a bit as eye seem to grow warmer. Even Valentine seem to put down his guard.

" ha ha no trouble my friend we just came here on a little trip that's all"

Noticing the obvious lie since I've read the novel, I know damn well they're not here for some trip to hear as the inquisition they probably here to see the Eternal Blazing Sun church.

Playing dumb. I made a small retort something that wouldn't put their suspicions all on me, but wouldn't take it completely off as well. I need some of their suspicion on me if we were going to meet in the future.

" oh well, if you want to see some tourist spot, we have the Eternal Blazing Sun church but I must say it's been empty for quite a while because the bishop has been missing for sometime"

This seem to get their attention, a bishop being missing of some church attendance that's something they probably haven't heard of in the city.

Though I could tell the person that was the most affected by this was valentine as I felt the air become warm around us a bit before Leah had to look at him a nudge him.

Not commenting on the heat beat the same time trying to seem like I didn't feel it. I gave him another smile.

" well, you see he's almost never at the church, so most recitals are held anymore, and most people are too busy with their jobs to really go"

The heat begin to come back up as I move my eyes, a bit valentine to see that his face was covered by his bangs.

This time the table rattled a bit as Valentine instantly looked up and stared tigers at Ryan. The only explanation was Ryan must've hit his shins from the bottom of the table.

"thank you very much What's your name?"

I smiled. It seems my plans of work since Leah has been staring at me for quite a while now.

" my name is Lumian Nice to meet your acquaintance. I'll be going out. I have many things to do."

Pushing back my chair, I moved it back to its original table before walking out of the tavern as I began to walk back toward a house looking up at the sky I could see it's become dark orange, signaling me that night almost came.

" Dream monster here I come"
