LOST WARRIORS (ONGOING)

Everywhere only corpse and dry blood stains could be seen near or far. It seemed like one had entered the quiet zone on Earth. Nobody, nothing. But...but who are they? Are they....? Commander Holmes got off the horse lightning fast and beheaded the Tursian King, Henry the VII.

"My Lord....", Cassandra called the King.

"Huh, am I alive?" King Henry the VII woke up fast with a shocking face.

"Why are you saying such a thing, your Majesty? And why are you sweating that much? Is everything alright?"Queen Cassandra asked with a surprised voice.

"Oh! So it was all a dream. So I am surprised that my huge army will be so easily defeated by that small barren army? Don't make me laugh." King whispered in his mind. Then said,"Nothing, it was all a bad dream, nothing else. I have never seen such a realistic dream. Ask the servant to bring tea."

Ordering for tea, the Queen came back and sat next to the King. Then with a concerning voice, she said,"I get scared whenever I hear 'War'. You must take care of yourself as I will not be in the warzone."

"Don't worry, Cassie. What to fear when I have that many guards? I will appoint more guards at the Castle to make you safer."

Meanwhile, the guard had come with two beautifully handcrafted cups of tea on a golden plate. Putting them down, he lowered himself as well as his voice and asked,"Anything else, Your Majesty?"

"No, you can go to work." King Henry replied.

The King and Queen both picked up the cups. Then the Queen asked,"Did we have to fight? Does anyone benefit from shedding blood in vain?"

"You don't know all the inside news so it's better not to talk about it. Even so, being a woman, you should not worry about the war. Leave it to me." King Henry said, taking the tea.

The Queen remained silent. After finishing the tea, the King got out of bed to prepare.

The Queen, seeing him getting busy, asked,"Will you leave so soon?"

The King kissed her forehead and replied,"Yes my Queen. I will return soon, so don't worry about me."

Rhodus Caves, Tursia

In Spite of being tied up, Massimo,Emma and Lucifer fell asleep last night. After they woke up, they heard sounds outside cave. Hearing them, Massimo became twice awake. In a cautious voice,he said,"Friends, act like dead."

They followed what Massimo said. The two men, whose voice was heard before, entered the cave.

"Through this cave, we will reach Tursia even faster. I found this cave while playing when I was 9 years old. Stay cautious, the enemy can be anywhere." Adam told Mike, lowering his voice.

"The enemy is in front of us. Sorry, not the enemy.....enemies...3 of them." Mike said while laughing.

"Wh-at? W-here?? Why are you laughing?" Adam said in a confused tone.

"Look at the pillar. Should we kill them?" Mike asked.

"No...no wait. Don't act anything carelessly. First, take a look at them." Adam warned Mike.

"They seemed dead if you ask me. They have not moved since we entered. People could be so insane that they would kill children in the war even if they were innocent." Mike seemed to be frustrated.

"Wait...I have seen him in our palace before. He came to share intels with our King and gave him advice. Though he is too young, his way of thinking and analysing intellectual things are pretty amazing. I was impressed when I first met him. He is much more experienced at his age than he should be. It hurts to believe this absolute gem is no more. He was a very useful resource for our territory." Adam said with a sigh.

"Wait...they are still breathing." Mike said after opening the rope tied to them, then going through them very closely.

'So we are caught.' Massimo thought in his mind.

He opened his eyes slowly, pretending that he was sleeping earlier.

Seeing that, Mike understood all that and said with a loud voice,"You aren't sleeping, are you? Now stand up first and tell your friends to stand up too."

"Emma! Lucifer! Wake up. We are caught. But no need to worry. I know one of them. I have seen that guy in the Barren Palace." Massimo said cheerfully, looking at Adam.

Hearing it, Emma and Lucifer stood up quickly and started to take a good look at the strangers.

"First tell me how you three ended up tied inside the cave?" Adam asked them.

"Actually, we found the cave while playing and due to our curiosity, we entered the cave. And then we found three men, one with the sword of Henry V, in his hand, which he must have stolen. They saw us and that left us no way but to be tied up at the pillar. I know the one who had stolen the sword. His name is Aaron. He-" Massimo's words were interrupted by Adam.

"Are you crazy? You mean the sword King Henry the V used? It is worth more than 10 Million Dollars. How did that guy manage to steal it, anyway? However, how are you able to identify the sword? Have you seen that before?" Adam asked Massimo.

"Don't forget that I live in Tursia. From childhood, I have seen the picture a couple of times of that sword and heard multiple times from various persons about that. But no doubt, it was the first time I have seen that in front of my eyes." Massimo replied.

"Oh, I almost forgot you are from our enemy's territory, not ours. But I don't doubt you. You have helped our King before. So we are kind of allies now. However, why were you three pretending to be dead?" Adam asked, being concerned.

"We thought they had returned, that's why Massimo told us to act like dead." Lucifer replied.

"Oh so you two can talk too. Hahaha.....from the beginning that one guy was talking only. I thought you two are still acting like dead. Never mind." Mike said in a funny voice.

"Leave all that. Let's be serious. You don't remember Charles, do you?" Adam asked.

They all were going inside the cave to the other side of the cave towards the Arizona Desert.

Massimo said, " Yes I remember. He is your friend. But why? Is anything wrong?"

Adam became very astonished to hear that. He hadn't expected even a bit that he would still remember Charles, as Massimo was an outsider. Massimo had an amazing memory.

"He is no more. One person from your territory had killed him. And we two are looking for that person" Adam said.

"So sad to hear that. That's one of the reasons why I hate my birth-place, my territory so much. We will help you to catch that guy quicker." Massimo said while observing the cave deeply.

Time passed. They all were walking continuously without resting a bit.

"Is the cave infinite, Adam? We have been walking for a long time. I am tired now. Let's sit here for a while. " Mike gasped.

"We are close. We have very less time as the war can begin at any time. It is useless to rest and waste our time. We have no food and resources, so we have to go to the other end to find some."

The darkness began to thin. The other end was visible then. Some of the moonlight rays started to enter the cave slowly.

"We have escaped the long cave. Look at the desert. It's enormous." Emma said cheerfully.

That was literally enormous. Everywhere one looked, he would only find sand and sand. Everywhere is sand. Small and large sand piles and mounds could be seen. The sand was shining in the beautiful moonlight. It seemed like someone had scattered golden glitters from the above sky. All of them were excited to explore the desert area as they haven't seen a desert before.
