"I still can't believe that this dismal incident happened last night. Being the King, it is very much disappointing. If I can't even save my soldiers, then how am I supposed to protect the whole kingdom." King Williams expressed his frustration with a sigh.

"It's not your fault, my Lord. We should have been more careful and put more guards at the Medics Zone." Commander Holmes said being hopeful.

"My very much close friend Charles is no more because all of those traitors of that damn Tursia. We can't bear all of that. Lord, I am begging in front of you to start the War as soon as possible. Should we wait like this and let our soldiers die? It's going beyond our resistance. We should kill that new damn guy. He went missing after that incident. I am pretty sure he is the one who did that. Lord Will-" Grumpy Adam's speech got interrupted as a man appeared at the court.

He was nobody but Mortal Cynane himself.

Seeing him in front of himself, Adam couldn't control his anger. He blasted all of his anger to Mortal. He grabbed Mortal's throat and said,"I will cut you into pieces the same way you killed my friend."

Commander Fedrick Holmes came between them running and stopped them.

"Are you out of your mind, Adam? Keep your emotions in control. What happened to you? You even have no proof that Mortal killed Charles, have you? Just stop those guess shots or you will be suspended. " Holmes said, looking at Adam.

"Everybody here knows that he is the damn killer. If not, then ask him why he was missing from yesterday night to today dawn? Where the hell was he? Ask him. Don't support the traitor, Commander or I will be forced to go against you. " Adam said, gritting his teeth.

"Don't bother asking me. I was out of town last night because I was invited to visit my friend's house. Tell this mad guy to calm down or I will chop his head down. " Mortal replied calmly.

"Damn you traitor. He is lying. Lord, give him a death sentence or allow me to kill him and I promise I will bring his head down to your legs. " Adam said quickly in a very loud voice.

"Keep dreaming, idiot. As I am going to keep standing and let you kill me. Anyway, do you have any proof against me? If not, then keep your mouth shut and stop that childish nonsense. We have more important things to talk about. " Mortal said while laughing.

"Don't worry and calm down, Adam. I promise the killer of Charles will be found and I will give him the death sentence. Now go to your work." Lord Williams said calmly.

"All of you have lost your mind. " Adam said while going out.

Barren Fort

"Where is my brother?" Jamie asked.

"Guard, open the door. " Hoover ordered the door guard.

Guard opened the door and inside the huge room, everything was beautiful and well-organized as in the picture.

Hoover and Jamie entered and inside there Mortal was sitting in a chair.

"Why did it take you so long? I have been anxious here waiting for days. " Mortal said, being anxious.

"Gathering genuine information takes time. Is everything well here, brother?" Jamie asked.

"Everything is fine here. Tell me what information you have collected?" Mortal asked in a low voice.

"Later. I am very tired now. Let's take a rest for a bit. I will tell you tomorrow." Jamie said, sitting in a chair besides Mortal.

"Relax later. First tell me what happened there." Mortal said anxiously.

"It seems like you are anxious and excited very much. " Jamie smiled then continued,"I infiltrated Barren's inner circle. The commander, Holmes, is ruthless. But they have a weakness too. " Jamie stopped in the middle.

"And what is that?" Mortal asked eagerly.

"Hoover, tell the guard to bring a drink for me. Anyway, what I was saying, they have a weakness and that is relying on outdated tactics. They have only horses to attack us." Jamie stretched his arms.

"That's very crucial information. Any more intel?" Mortal's eyes seemed glowing.

"No. But there I was engaged in a conflict with their soldier. Better to say, forcefully." Jamie said, looking at the chandelier upwards.

"But why? I have warned you not to. Anyway, don't tell me you killed him." Mortal's eyebrows furrowed.

"I do killed him. I have no other options. " Jamie said with a heavy voice.

A long silence enveloped the room. Then, breaking the silence, Mortal asked, "Do you know his name?"

"Charles Wood." Jamie replied, "However, join the army tomorrow morning and if anything threatening happens, Alan will be nearby. By the way, deal with them carefully. They will doubt you and if anything serious happens, don't hesitate to get your hands bloody."

"I knew that guy. He was a great fighter. I appreciate your skills that you are able to kill him. Anyway, don't worry about me. I will deal with it." Mortal said with a low voice.

"Maybe I was able to kill him because he was injured. But that damn guy almost killed me." Jamie said, showing his chest scars.

"Our kingdom is benefiting greatly because you are twins." Hoover said, putting down three glasses of juice.

"Cheers!" Jamie and Mortal picked up the glasses.
